Chrysler Surpriser

Advantages: Handling, extras as standard.
Disadvantages: Gear-box, fuel economy.

...Neon 2.0 LX 1997 Manual 5-speed gearbox. I've been driving this car for over a year now, and that's a long time for me, so it must be good. Bought second hand from a dealer, I paid just £1300 for this car, plus a Rover 800 that you couldn't give away (I have the sneaking suspicion that I would have paid less if I hadn't traded in the Rover). As a connoisseur of the second hand car market (twenty cars in twenty-seven years) I know that it's all a game, no matter what you think you've checked, there will be something you'll have to pay out for. So when I buy a car I kick the tyres, take it for a test drive and factor in £500 for the repairs I'll need. Looks With no particular make or model in mind, it was the look of the Neon that attracted me, a little bit sporty without pretending to be something it's not, and a friendly, smiley...

Nothing classic about Chrysler Classic Racing!

Advantages: Easy game
Disadvantages: Poor graphics. Slow driving experience. Poorly designed. Not much fun!

...Want to race a collection of Chrysler classics from the '50s, '60s and '70s: the Plymouth Belvedere (1954, 1955 and 1957 models, as well as the '57 convertible), the Chrysler 300 (various models from the '50s and '60s), the 1969 Plymouth GTX Road Runner, 1970 Plymouth Duster and Superbird, and a couple of Barracudas. If the answer is yes then you may like this! I say may because i found a few flaws with this game. Personally i do not think the vehicles have been represented very well, plus the overall experience was rather dated and not quite the blast from the past that i'd expected. I find this game to be rather undeveloped in ideas and style. For exaple you do not use a wii remote or any motions, you simply use the thumbstick on the nun-chuck! It just does not seem right to be sat back moving you're thumb to a wii game! Due to...

Chrysler neon automatic

Advantages: Space, equipment
Disadvantages: Fuel economy

...Neon 2.0 LX automatic 99 V Two years ago I was looking for any type of car that could sit three people and have room for a buggy and everything else a baby needs. I wasn't look for any type of vehicle but I saw a second hand Chrysler Neon for sale on the forecourt. I Knew very little about this Amercican built car as they have only being around in this country for a few years now. A lot of cars these days seem to resemble another make of car but not the Neon. It appears to come across as a sporty type car but at the same time a look of a family car. I've seen a couple of others on the roads with their tinted widows and massive rear spoilers but you know that there is that much room inside that you could easily accomodate your family. So regarding the interior, you are overwhelmed by the amount of space on offer. There is...

Chrysler Neon 2.0 LX Auto ? A Flicker in the Dark?

Advantages: Luxurious Car for Reasonable Price
Disadvantages: Fuel Consumption Wind noise

...of thing, of course. Oh, yes and sometimes when exposed to high side winds the howl is also present, just an annoying little niggle. RECOMMENDATION In summary, the price tag is attractive, I still cannot find the luxury at this price, but it is not cheap motoring. On the fourth anniversary of my car?s first registration, I opted for a replacement. It was definately not to be another Chrysler/Jeep/Daimler family saloon. Warning, I estimate I averaged less than 23mpg in and around town and no more than 25 mpg rural driving. NOW & THEN Some four months down the line, I am happily driving a much more flexible workhorse of a car, offering much more for my style of driving and living. Plus my new vehicles 2.0 engine is proving more powerful and economic, and this time I have diesel. I do miss the luxury look and feel though...

My Chrysler "Nightmare" Voyager 2.5 CRD LX

Advantages: A nice looking car - presents a good image
Disadvantages: Cost of Servicing and parts

...I have has this car since it was 9 months old and i have to say it has been the best car i have ever owned, even with the disadvantages of the pricey servicing costs, it has now reached the grand old age of 4 years old, with a full dealer service and now needs £6700.00 spent on it to keep it going....YES, £6700.00 that wasn't a typo!!!! For all you Chrysler Diesel owners here is a tip that may save you thousands in the long run. You have 4 fuel injectors in your engine, they are never serviced during the life of the car, they are " a non service item". Well my car has developed a minor miss fire on one of the injectors, the problem is they can only get one out as the others have seized into the "head", by the way the injectors are £700.00 each plus VAT, the head is £1500 + VAT, all these ned replacing now because these "non service...

Review of Chrysler Voyager 2.5 TD

Chrysler Voyager 2.5 LX Turbo Diesel.

Advantages: Image,looks good.
Disadvantages: Build quality not very good.

...I bought this car new for my wife in December 2001 as our previous car was getting a bit long in the tooth ( Nissan Prairie , which was a great car and never let us down) , which is something that cannot be said for the Voyager. The car came with a 3 year warranty , thankfully ,as we had to use it quite a lot . It has to be mentioned that the dealer who supplied the car ( Bickets of Kilmarnock) were pretty good in that they would pick it up and drop off a courtesy car whenever any work was needing done , which meant we got to drive a P.T cruiser (twice), a Chrysler Neon automatic (once) , a petrol Voyager (twice) , an automatic diesel Voyager (once) and a Cherokee jeep (once), but then we did pay £ 25,000 for the car and expected good service. Lets start listing the faults: alternator faulty, replaced under...

V.G. Cruiser

Advantages: Looks, build quality, smooth to drive, roomy, easy to park
Disadvantages: Not a lot

...About 18 months ago when I was in New England I rented a Chrysler PT cruiser for two weeks & clocked up more than 1000 miles, it gave me a good opportunity to assess the vehicle for this review. As you will see with the pictures of the actual vehicle it is a modern interpretation of a 1930s American hot rod & Chrysler have done rather a good job. The low front & high rear ends with slab sides mimics the old hot rods as does the pointed bonnet line & front wing styles. The retro look is carried over to the interior with body coloured painted metal dashboard along with little details as the fake ivory gear knob & old style chrome door handles. The car was originally to be badged as a Plymouth PT Cruiser but when the parent company (Chrysler) decided to terminate the Plymouth brand the name was changed to simply Chrysler. The 'PT...

A Chrysler Sebring in a racesuit !

Advantages: The interior has a very dynamic, bold, sporty flair
Disadvantages: A gas monster..only does 26 mpg...not for the 9 to 5'ivers

...Its a mid-size car related to Chrysler's Sebring. Injected with plenty of Dodge attitude and styling cues from the Dodge Charger. The Avenger looks musclar from any angle. Upfront it has pinched headlights with the familar menacing ("tough-guy") Dodge facia - trademark black and chrome cross hair grill..Working back the arched belt-line wraps up and around the car's powerful wheel flares. Standard tyres are 18 inches. Drive handling is so-so. It has a lot of under-steer of course, because of its front-drive platform. The front tyres will just give out, if you push it too hard. The performance is disappointing actually, because the Avenger's got these mini-muscle car looks which need backing up with some brawn ! The clattery 2.4 base 4 cylinder...(167bhp Or 162 lb/ft torque) fails to offer any real urgency because the car is so...

Dares To Be Different

Advantages: Unique styling, retro looks, shiny gear lever
Disadvantages: Where do I start?

...When Chrysler launched the PT Cruiser six years ago I was among the crowd who went: "Wow!" Put simply, I thought it was perhaps the single bravest move an automobile company had made in many years. The concept of taking an old Hot Rod style vehicle and turning it in to an every day usable vehicle was intriguing and the retro styling, inside and out, was definitely an attraction to me, and to many other road users. It took me some time to get my hands on one of these cars, and eventually I ended up putting my Jeep Grand Cherokee into the garage for some extensive (not to mention expensive) repairs in order to achieve my goal and drive one of these cars for a few days. And what a disappointment it was. The exterior design is still as bold and exciting as ever. It oozes uniqueness and says something about the driver's desire...
