...I read Koshkha's take on this challenge a couple of months ago and thought I'd have a crack for my 50th review. However I can't wait that long so decided to do it now to celebrate turning Red. Let us begin with an introduction: My name is Ian, and I'm a ciao-aholic. 1. When and why did you join Ciao? 4th August 2003, and yes that is a long time ago. Like many people I joined for the surveys with no clue about the consumer side of the site. In the early days the surveys were quite prolific and I was doing four or five a month but they soon dried up. ...So, you've either joined, or are thinking of joining ciao. For anyone who's new, welcome. Before I start with the review I apologise for the things that won't be covered. ...Due to the fact that my OH's sisters house (where I am staying for the week) has no internet connection, I have missed my Ciao terribly. Having been banned from the laptop over the Bank Holiday, I have had little to do other than to sit daydreaming about how many of your wonderful reviews I could be reading, instead of seeing how miserably my football team lost over the weekend, or how well my OH's team did. My 10 year old son was very impressed that he could use his newly aquired snatches of Italian as the waitress greeted us in Italian, he spent the meal throwing in what few words and phrases he had picked up in Italy!! You can now edit your opinions (this is my first re-write - of many), you can see a more extensive breakdown of your earnings, and you can even see ratings and add people to your circle of trust. Whe I joined Ciao, I had never seen a site like it - I immediately referred a friend, who is even more inclined to spout her opinions than me. What I found then was a good site as far as rates of pay per opinion and per read were concerned, but sadly lacking in community spirit. When she found dooyoo a little later, I joined that and almost forgot about Ciao. I have been keeping a check on the performance of the two different sites, and dooyoo has performed better on all counts - but now there have been big changes on Ciao, it is more aquestion of payment and personal preference as to which...

...Now, before all the men out there move onto the next review, remember that it is a well known fact that you love reading ' women's' magazines. Forget FHM, Loaded and the rest. If a copy of Bella, Woman, Chat etc is lying on a coffee table, my husband will always pick it up and have a good read. Having said all that , it's not often that I read them myself ! The Bella Side of the Mafia

Advantages: As far as mafia films go - quite enjoyable
Disadvantages: Story quite far-fetched in parts

....99 or rent it from screenselect.co.uk or wait for it to be shown on TV again. You could also check here on Ciao to find a cheaper DVD! SO? Overall I think fans of mob/gangster movies will enjoy Bella Mafia. To summarise the film - it's about 5 beautiful women who unite to avenge the deaths of their husbands and sons. If you compare it to films like Godfather, The Last Don and Scarface, you might not rate it very highly; as it's more about the women of the mafia. The story is far-fetched in parts but I didn't watch it for a dose of reality! A solid 7 out of 10 from me......
