From Jif to Cif - a rather good cleaning product

Advantages: Works well, easy to use, no hassle
Disadvantages: Cleaning in general

...I am by no means a clean freak, however I have 3 young children and a husband so a certain amount of daily and weekly cleaning is required. I do like to keep my bathroom and toilet clean and I have found that the best product to help me achieve this is Cif cream cleaner, I like the yellow/lemon/citrus one best. cif wipes versus domestos wipes

Advantages: easy to use, effective
Disadvantages: costly

...After recieving my 40 trial Cif wipes through the post, i also recieved a 12 pack of 'rival' Domestos wipes through the post!!!! Being a bit sad (!) i decided to pit them against each other before going to the supermarket and parting with my hard earned cash, as i knew they would be handy and like a sucker would go and buy them, but wanted to make sure i got the best ones (obviously!!). I used Cif for one week and Domestos the second week but used them to clean the same things; a window, a kitchen surface, my TV screen, my PC screen, the toilet and lastly the bathroom sink. Both packets are easy to open, however, Cif wins in this instance - the Cif package is resealable and stays closed when not in use, so the cloths do not dry out. Cif Oxy-Gel comes in a clear plastic spray bottle with green trigger and stop and go nozzle. The liquid inside is an aqua colour. The label is an aqua colour also with the Cif logo in the middle. Does it work in the kitchen? I have a very small kitchen, you know what I mean when I say I can stand in the middle of my kitchen with arms out I can touch the walls. I started with the dirtiest window I could find and 3 wipes later the window was cleaner but it was all smudged and I did not feel it had done a very good job. I next started on the shower cubical. I could get the outside cleaner but what about the inside. I had to work hard and they still didn't remove the limescale. Mirrors now here the wipes worked well. I managed to clean several mirrors with 1 wipe and they looked a lot cleaner, no smudges just my ugly mug looking back at me.
