The fastest circuit in the UK?

Advantages: One of the fastest circcuits in the uK, hosts many types of events, Russells chicane
Disadvantages: Lack of facilities, a bit dated, exiting the circuit is a nightmare

...Snetterton is my home circuit and is located 10 miles north east of Thetford on the A11 from London to Norwich. The circuit is one of a number of race circuits (along with Brands Hatch, Cadwell Park, Oulton Park and Bedford Autodrome) owned by MotorSport Vision. The first race meeting at Snetterton was arranged in 1951 by the Aston Martin Owner's Club. The track had been cobbled together from a network of runways, which formed the wartime base of the 96th US Air Force Bomber Group. The site is open, flat, desolate and susceptible to strong winds. I find that if it is not raining I always burn when I go to the circuit. If it is not sun burn it will be wind burn, so I always take sun cream and lip salve and apply plenty of each at regular intervals. Sutton Circuit - Probably The Best Karting Venue in the Midlands

Advantages: Good track, good karts, good staff, clean, inviting
Disadvantages: None

...Sutton circuit is based in a small village called Sutton in the Elms, near Broughton Astley, Leicestershire. I have been going to the circuit now for about 2 years, at least once a month. I have also visited many of the outdoor karting circuits in the midlands, and a couple a little further a field. I can honestly say that Sutton is the best maintained track, best maintaoned karts, and some of the nicest people you would want to meet. Some of the circuits I have visited, the quality of the karts is completely unacceptable when you are paying upto £45 for 30 minutes. In all of my time going to sutton I have only ever seen two karts break down, or have any mechanical problems. The circuit is around 600 yards long, and a good average lap is around 39 seconds whilst using the hire karts. The lap record using these karts is 38...

One night, Nerimon(Alex Day-Leader of Band) thought to himself, does Time Lord Rock(as in, songs about the television series Doctor Who) exist? After googling it, he found no content under the context that he wanted, and so, a new Music genre was born, Trock. He then updated his band of YouTube followers on this amazing discovery. He then got together a group of his fellow YouTube friends and started the band Chameleon Circuit. The Longest F1 Circuit.

Advantages: Great Overtaking.
Disadvantages: Unpredictable Weather.

...The Spa-Francorchamps track in Belgium is the longest circuit used during the Formula One World Championship series. At 4.3 miles a lap, this circuit takes an F1 car nearly two minutes to complete, which is a long time in F1 terms. Because of the length of the circuit a complete race is only 44 laps. This track is a great favourite of the drivers because of the fast, challenging corners, particularly the Eau Rouge corner, but there are some concerns over the high speeds and the overall safety of the track. This was emphasised with the very fast, terrifying crash of Luciano Burti in the 2001 race. However, the vast majority of the drivers would not want to see any major changes made to the layout of the circuit as they relish the challenge. Short Circuit 2 - That lovable robot again.

Advantages: Great family film with lovable characters.
Disadvantages: Slightly dated. A bit long for very young children.

Circuit training - gain not pain

...Circuit training…do you know what it is? I’m not sure I did until we got brutally forced into it at school. So, what am I on about? Well, circuit training is a method of toning muscles and improving cardiovascular fitness, and seeing as society is so keen on working out, I thought I’d share what I know on this topic! It is generally a circuit (hence the name) with around 5 ‘stations’ each of these stations is a form of workout, such as sit-ups, chin-ups, step-ups, stork lifts etc. The idea is that you spend around 5 minutes on each station, in a small group preferably, and you do the activity, and record your results, i.e. 100 sit-ups before conking out ;)! The next time you do this circuit, you aim to improve on what you managed last time, and hence push your body, and so improve your fitness...
