Perfect Hotel for Romantic Getaway

...and the cleanliness...my girlfriend liked the brand of shampoo they provided although the name escapes me! We ate in both Ciro's Brasserie and Nelsons Bar. In Ciro's we went for the carvery on a sunday which was good value and excellent food. I even asked for something not on the menu and the waitress was only too happy to accomodate. Nelson's was standard bar food but the surroundings were lovely, we ate pub lunch in front of the fire which was a nice touch. Breakfast was also exactly what we wanted, a good selection of full english (beans/hash browns/sausages/bacon/mushrooms) and continental croissants and yoghurts. Plus it was all eat-as-much-as-you-like and help yourself which was excellent as the foods were constantly restocked. ...Nelson's Bar is situated within The Grosvenor Arms Pulford Hotel, a beautiful sandstone manor house set back from the main Wrexham Road in Pulford, Chester. Not to be confused with Ciro's Brasserie, the alternative eatery within the hotel and which, as can be seen from one of my previous reviews, I would not personally recommend, Nelson's Bar is a very relaxed, informal restaurant which serves a wide variety of lovely food, and at the same time, is not overly expensive. My last visit to Nelson's Bar was just a couple of months ago when we were invited out for lunch to celebrate my auntie's birthday. Disadvantages: Difficult to clean in the hard to reach areas

The oven has a number of fnctions available including circotherm, top/bottom heat (conventional oven), surface grilling for a large/small area, ciro-roasting, circotherm intensive and bottom heat. Honestly I did not know what half of the settings were for when I got the oven but the instructions fully explain how and when each function should be used. I have actually only ever used the conventional oven settings or the surface grilling. The circo-therm for those that have not used it, uses the ovens rear fan to circulate effective heat transfer to food being baked or roasted. Items can also be defrosted in the oven. Begrudgingly sharing My 'Dirty' Little Secret
