...Citizen Skyhawk A-T Eco-drive watch, model no JY0000-53E. At the time of writing, this watch is the top of the Skyhawk model range, Citizen's take on aviation themed watches. In addition to the usual Skyhawk features, the A-T model synchronises with the atomic clock signal. As well as being able to receive the European signal, it can also be trained to the USA and Japan time signals by setting the relevant time zone - an advantage over some of the cheaper atomic watches offered by other manufacturers. Delighted With The Citizen Eco-Drive Calibre Watch

Advantages: fast delivery, first class customer service
Disadvantages: none to be honest

...i've recently ordered the Citizen Eco-Drive Watch for my father online and found both the product and the company i ordered from to be top class. The delivery was next day, and it was free too (which makes a nice change) and the old man really liked his present too, so all in all, a good experience. I have to recommend the company i purchased from, as i found them very helpful when i called them to find out more information about delivery, and returns policy, so thank you Mores Jewellers The watch it's self i've been told is very comfortable and feels natural when wearing, it's heavy enough due to the quality, but light enough to not get in the way. A watch for the 21st century

...in jewellers is an understatement, but I was pleased when I heard that Citizen has introduced a solar powered watch range. One of my work colleagues already had one & was very pleased with it. It sounded too good to be true, as long as the watch is kept in natural or indoor light it will work, put the watch in a closed cupboard or drawer & after a few days it will stop, only to restart again when it is taken back into light. The movement is made in Japan, a country that only sells goods to the general public that are researched & developed properly. The reliability of Japanese products such as cameras, watches & cars is legendary so I had no concerns about this new technology. The bracelet is made in China, no doubt to keep costs down. A solar powered watch doesn't tick & unlike kinetic or self winding watches doesn't make a noise when...

Tick-tick Eco Clock: a super shiney blokey watch

Advantages: Great looks, great features and NEVER needs batteries!

...Any bloke looking to buy a smart looking, reliable and solid watch for a decent price could do an awful lot worse than go for the Citizen Largo Eco Drive. I've owned one for a couple of years, having purchased it after trying on a bunch of others by different manufacturers from seiko to breitling, and have found very little, if anything, wrong with it. LOOKS For starters, mine doesn't look quite like the one in the Ciao picture, so I've added a picture at the bottom! As you can see, mine has a rectangular case with a deep blue face. It's a smart looking watch, chunky but not too chunky, with a very neat two-tone brushed/polished stainless steel case. The highly adjustable bracelet is also two-tone and features a neat little squeeze/lock action to undo it, which is hidden when you wear it and gives the impresion that it is...

The environment friendly watch

...My last watch has been with me for more than 10 years. It has been reliable until the past couple of years. It started mis-behaving, require constant battery changes, (a sure sign that the watch is dying), and frequently stopping whenever I fly. So last Christmas, I decided to buy myself an eco-driven citizen watch. An eco-drive watch uses light energy to run itself. The light source can be sun (solar) or an incandescent lamp (such as in an office environment). The watch uses a solar panel, in this case, its the face dial, to convert light into electrical energy which is stored in a special energy cell. This allows the watch to last a long time without seeing any light, suitable for those of us who hibernate (Ha!); for those of us with very long winters and constantly wearing long sleeve clothes or just forgetting to charge it up...

Charming little watch

Advantages: charges constantly when its in the light

...My 'friend' decided i needed a special present this year for christmas and bought me the Citizen Ecodrive Charm bracelet watch. It's one which has been advertised quite alot in womens magazines, and it is very pretty and a bit different. The bracelet is a basic silver coloured bracelet, attatched are five small handbag charms, one is plain silver colour, the other four have stones in different design 'handbags', the colours are pink, blue, yellow and clear. The watch itself is a slightly larger handbag shapewith clear 'diamonds' around the face and a blue pearly looking face. Its pretty and sparkles nicely which keeps him as amused as it does me, but then again hes amused by some very simple things - british money for one. The second of these watches that I own is also the silver coloured version but this time has shell shaped charms...

ECO-Kettle

Advantages: saves time, energy and pennies
Disadvantages: takes a little bit of getting used to

...The Eco Kettle is designed for you to be able to more accurately put in just the right amount of water that you want boiled - therefore saving energy for the planet and saving you money in electricity costs. How does it work: the kettle has 2 chambers; one acts as a reservoir (this is the one you fill) and then by pushing and holding down a button on the lid of the kettle you transfer the required amount of water to the boiling chamber. Both chambers have 'windows' marked with cup levels, so you can see the volume in each. OK, so that sounds a bit faffy but seriously ITS EASY its just hard to explain! If you buy one then definitely read the instruction booklet and all will be come clear. And practice makes perfect - I found it did take a few goes to perfect the technique. What's Great: I love that I'm being eco and env friendly...

...It's easy to be sceptical when someone tells you that with a few reusable balls you can cut down on the cost of washing clothes and help the environment all whilst still keeping your clothes at a good level of cleanliness. I had thought about using ecoballs for a long time, but worried that the product might not work. I finally decided that I had nothing to loose in trying and I brought some ecoballs from amazon. I have not found ecoballs for sale in any shops, but they are easily available in many different places. They can be brought in many different packs, some with just the balls, some with other eco friendly products. Prices for a pack of ecoballs which can last for up to 1000 washes range from £20 to £35. So, what do they do then? Well, the idea is that instead of using your usual washing powder or liquid and fabric...

...It is commonly argued that Citizen Kane is the greatest film of all time, It has become a part of American Folklore It was the first film by Orson Welles. He was only 26 when he wrote, produced, directed and starred in the film Plot: Charles Foster Kane, a Multimillionaire newspaper tycoon, dies alone in his Mansion, Xanadu. Before he dies he drops a Crystal ball and utters the Word 'Rosebud' In what is one of the most famous clips in Cinema History. The film then follows a reporter who attempts to solve the mystery behind the word 'Rosebud'. Despite never understanding the mystery the audience does find out at the very end. Opinon: Every element of this film; Direction, Production, Screenplay, Cinematography, etc is faultless. Orson Welles has done a fantastic job in making a movie that will captivate the viewer to the end...
