...A review on Citrus Tango. Having recently tried the regular Orange Tango and found it ok, but in my opinion not as good as the Apple, I thought I would give the Citrus flavour a try. It is a fairly recent addition to the Tango range and this was going to be my first taste. I was curious to find out if it would be a refreshing drink to have in this hot weather. I know a lot of people prefer cola's, but it is worth trying the fruit soft drinks for a change. A Few Facts + When Tango was launched by Corona in 1950 it was different from their other soft drinks because it contained real fruit. + Other Tango flavours are Orange, Apple and Cherry. + Citrus Tango was launched in 2007. + Britvic (who now make them) cut out the artificial colours and flavours from Tango's in 2006. Mint is so versatile

...Mint has a genus of around twenty five species, but in fact there are hundreds of different varieties. Most of us think as mint of a herb that we only use in cooking when in fact it can be quite an attractive plant in it`s own right. Mint in general likes a cool shady spot in the garden and it will flourish given the right conditions. Many of us have at some point made the mistake of planting a sprig and ending up with a patch that has grown out of control. I have often grown my mint in a terracotta pot, this keeps the plant at bay and if the pot is well situated it can be an ideal way of attaining a decent crop. If it looks as though a frost may be in the offing then move the pot closer to the wall or the fence to protect the plant. ...It goes without saying that I struggle to write reviews that don't include some medicinal information. From mint imperials to peppermint tea, mint is a highly versatile medicinal herb. It has a unique, refreshing taste and is one of my favourite flavours. Historically Speaking The medicinal uses for mint can be traced back to medieval Europe. The earliest written description of the plant was way back in 1669. However its Latin name Mentha palustris, Peper-Mint was noted down in 1704 and its healing properties described in 1705 by the pharmaceutical author Dale. We Are Family Now plant biology was never my strong point but even I know that Ciao has made a small error. In the herb categories, mint and spearmint are listed separately. In fact, Spearmint, just like Peppermint and Pennyroyal belong to the same species family...

...The other day , I was at my local newsagents looking at the magazine rack when I fancied something to chew on?yet I wasn't that hungry. I glanced at the 'bags-of-sweets-section' and my eyes were snatched by a red and white sign which sat brightly by the Fox Mints. "Buy One Get One Free" it clearly read. The offer could not have come at a better time. I happily grabbed two bags from the shelf and took them to the counter along with my magazine. I have always loved Fox's Glacier Mints , however they were not something I bought on a regular basis. Yes..I loved them?but it wasn't something I considered I couldn't live without and therefore they became somewhat of an occasional treat. Advantages: easy to grow and impossible to kill
Disadvantages: grows like a weed and may take over your garden if let out.

It does not seem to be that fussy about soil quality, it can cope in dry sumers and as far as I can tell, it is unkillable. Review of Polo Mints

A useful citrus cleaning wipe.

Advantages: Great scent, good value for money, lovely soft wipes.
Disadvantages: Can tear a little too easily for my liking.

...Tesco Anti-Bacterial Multi Action Wipes are supplied in a couple of different packet sizes and they come in a plastic packet which is yellow with pictures of lemons and a sign advising that they are anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria. This is the main reason that I picked this up, that and the 95p price tag for 80 wipes. The wipes are pretty larger and feel quite thick and soft. They have a very strong citrus scent and I have used them for cleaning stains from the kitchen worktops or for giving the toilet seat or sink a good wipe (not with the same wipe I must add!) and I do not flush these down the toilet preferring to put them in to the bin to make sure I don't block up the toilet. I find that these are quite good at cleaning but they can't beat bleach on some tough stains. I use them for a whole variety of cleaning tasks...
