...I recieved this product as an extra christmas present last year along with other clinque products. I asked for this clarifying lotion because i had heard amazing things about it, both on here and from other people i knew... so on to the review! Clinque have a three step care system for the skin, designed to cleanse and remove dirt from the skin, exfoliate and leave the skin smooth whilst tightening the pores and finally to moisturise the skin, leaving it silky soft. The clarifying lotion is actually a toner. A toner is a product deisgned to be used after you wash/clense your skin. Toners are generally liquid, you apply the toner to cotton wool and sweep over the skin whilst the ingredients work to remove any remaining cleanser whilst tightening the pores helping to create a flawless finish. Lets clarify a few things!

Advantages: it works
Disadvantages: initial outlay is pricey

...All beauty care manufacturers promote the cleansing regime of: cleanse,tone and moisturize. Having spent years religiously following this regime, I always found that whilst I had the perfect cleanser and moisturizer, the toner part of the regime let me down. They were either too weak and watery and so totally useless or they were like applying paint stripper to my face - not a nice experience I'll add. On my quest to find the perfect toner I've probably tried the lot from the cheapo one's in Boots to the "It costs how much?" on the Elizabeth Arden counter. Clinique clarifying lotion helps with milia

Advantages: Clears up my cheek milia, exfoliates really well, diminishes wrinkles
Disadvantages: Stings a bit when applied, fairly expensive for most

...For years I've had milia on my cheeks, but I didn't know what they were. Since I read that milia only appears around the eye area, I always presumed that I'm just prone to whiteheads. Although they're not really whiteheads since they look like bumps under the skin. They are trapped skin cells. If I tried to squeeze them, I'd make an absolute mess of my skin and they'd then turn into inflamed spots that can be popped. However for the first few days, there would be nothing but clear liquid in them. I was always puzzled by this. And then I came across a forum where someone was talking about their cheek milia and I recognized my problem. Funny enough, the advice to try Clinique Clarifying Lotion came from my boyfriend. Protection, Clarifi-ed (iPhone)

...My second review on a Griffin product, this is the Griffin Clarifi, a "protective case with built-in close-up lens for iPhone 3G". I'm not usually a big fan of cases for any kind of mobile phone. What's the point in buying a nice looking phone and then covering it a bulky, usually ugly plastic, rubber or leather case? I guess the point is to avoid spoiling the looks with scratches or worse, but then if you're hiding the phone anyway... Advantages: Works well. softens and deep cleanses.

...I went into Debenhams and spotted the clinique counter. I had heard many good things about clinique and decided to investigate. I have very oily skin and am prone to blemishes (especially in the summer) and needed some help fast! The sales assistant was very helpful and set about distinguing my skin type. She asked me a few questions about my skin and came to the conclusion that I am a skin type 3. She gave me some samples of the extra strengh soap (see other op) and the clarifying lotion 3 to try. When i first tried this clarifying lotion I was a bit dubious as it smells very strong, but i pressed ahead and I was surprised with the results. ...much as it would dry a person with dry skins skin. the 3 step routine the clarifying lotion is part of a group of three products that work together to help you skin look and feel as good as possible. the first product to use is the soap, which also comes in different levels, this is fairly obvious as you just wash your face with this. then the clarifying lotion, and then moistureiser, the moistureiser is a good product to use as the clarifying lotion can dry your skin out. the moistureiser is available for both dry and oily skin use overall using the product is extreamly easy, and even when pressed for time it only takes about two minutes at do all three steps - if even that long confused about which level is right for you? dont be. i was when i first wanted to start using it, but i went to a clinique counter and asked one...

...I first saw this new product from Pantent advertised on the telly, and as usually this girly with amazingly glossly flowing locks was extolling the virtues of the new Pantent Clarifying Shamppoo. Allegedly, this wonder shampoo could remove the build up of other styling products used on hair in just one simple wash - you know all that hair mousse, styling serum and spray that we slap on our locks. Well there l was in Tescos and l needed shampoo - well the Clarifying stuff was on special offer so why not - maybe it was as good as the manufacturers were making out (either that we could get them for a case of false advertising at the very least!).
