Clarins Night Lotion - makes you feel special!

Advantages: Makes your skin soft, a nice treat

...I really like this night cream from Clarins. I was lucky enough to get this as a present (because I know it is very expensive at a crazy £39 for 50ml from Boots) I find it quite nice to have a different moisturising cream to put on at night than I use in the day. Quite a lot of high street department stores such as Boots, Debenhams and John Lewis stock this, so it is quite readily available. It is also easy to find it on the internet. It is meant to be applied in the evening on cleansed skin just before you go to bed. The cream itself is quite runny, almost like a white runny gel. It is really easy to apply and does not irritate or make my skin tingle. It also absorbs in to the skin quite quickly. Dermalogica Multi Active Toner- all skin types

Advantages: Lasts ages, refreshing, easy to apply, no need for cotton wool, great for the skin
Disadvantages: Cost

...Dermalogica Mulit Active Toner can be used on any skin type. It comes in a useful pump action type bottle which you can spritz on. It is light, refreshing and hydrates your skin and smooths the surface. It has a pleasant smell and contains lavender, mint and arnica to help condition the skin and prepare it for more moisture absorption. It conatins no artificial fragrance or colour. After cleansing you can spritz this spray all over your face and neck. You need to keep your eyes closed for this. Dermalogica then suggest that you follow this imediately with their moisturiser. I was given a tester of this night moisturising cream from the nice lady over the counter as they are quite pricey and I like to know it's going to suit my skin before I shell out the £39.00 they were asking! The bottle is a lovely dark blue and white design, modern and easily distinguished from the day cream. It's packaged as prevention plus Multi-Active Night Cream Youthful Vitality (which sounds great). After cleansing my skin as per the instructions I opened the bottle to a really strong hit of masculine smelling scent. A Whiff of Clarins!

Advantages: Some might like the clarins smell, the smell lasts (can be good or bad), softens skin

...I love Clarins products and have finally started to get round to reviewing some of the many products in their range that I have used. The first is the Clarins Eau Ressourcante Moisturising Body Lotion. The lotion comes from their ?blue? fragrance range which is Eau Ressourcante. The lotion is designed to hydrate, refresh and soften skin. It contains essential oils and also plant extracts including Sarsaparilla and Hibiscus which relax and moisturise, Robinia which soothes and softens and Longan which stimulates. It comes in a semi-opaque white plastic bottle with turquoise writing on the bottle. It has a screw top cap with a covered top which has a small opening. The small opening is good as you can just squeeze a small amount of the lotion out rather than pour too much out at one time. The bottle holds 250ml and costs £24...

A cream for all seasons

...I have been using Clarins Multi Active Day Cream for the past 4 years & find that it is a great day cream for all year round. The cream comes in a white & red jar which is typical of the Clarins 'design'. The picture above shows the 'old style' jar which has now been replaced by one a slightly different shape. I use the one for 'all skin types', but it is also available for Dry Skin. A 30ml jar lasts me approx 4 months. The only thing wrong with the design of the jar is the fact that you have to stick your fingers in the jar to get the product out. If you have long nails the cream goes under them & you end up having to get the nail brush out! It would be better if it came in a 'pump action' design like their Engergising Morning Cream.
