A fantastic sun protection cream!
Advantages: easy rub in, protects
Disadvantages: nozzle is annoying!
...I have very fair skin so I burn within minutes of being in the sun, even when it doesn't look sunny I still somehow manage to burn! I have tried all sorts of different products to protect myself from burning and also the aging affects of the sun but I'm always so frustrated by having to keep reapplying the creams frequently and to still burn!
I bought Garnier Ambrew Solaire after seeing it advertised on a day time tv show where they were reviewing different skin care products. I bought factor 30 for myself and factor 50 for my baby as they were buy one get one free which was agood job as they're expensive!
I bought the bottles with the spray as I thought thie would be easier than just trying to squeeze a bottle and getting it all over me in the process as you always seem to get too much out no matter how much you try... or you don...

Burn baby Burn
Advantages: Nice packaging
Disadvantages: Doesn't protect the skin, Leaves streaks, Not water resistant
...Going on holiday is obviously very exciting and sun protection is key to having a good time.
I was running short of time before I went so as I was at my local spa I thought I'd buy some there.
The Clarins Sun Body Protection Sun Care Soothing Cream, Progressive Tanning was SPF20 and in a spray container rather than squeezable and was a great handbag size and that's where my praise stops.
The liquid was white in colour and took forever to rub in to the skin and then left white streaks all over the body that were extremely stubborn to get rid of. When I got in the pool a lot of little white bobbles formed all over my skin and wouldn't come off until rinsed off with quite a high pressure shower force.
The fact that it was suppose to be SPF20 for my delicate fair skin was a good thing, while my friends were using SPF10. However...

Remember to put on your sun protection cream
Advantages: Ligth, non greasy and easy to apply.
Disadvantages: Slightly expensive
...It is a common belief that you only apply sun protection on hot, sunny days. It is not totally true. Sun protection cream is important as long as there is daylight.
Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Face cream with an SPF of 50 may seems crazy to some but it does works. Shiseido which is a Japanese branded skin care product have been around for many years and have a good reputation for their research and development.
As a person who tan easily, the Shiseido sun protection cream with its SPF 50 have given me the protection against sun burnt and pigmentation.
The white cream is not very oily and is very easy to apply. It smoothen evenly and you do not need much to cover the whole face.
I use it over my moisturiser and under my foundation. It lasted the whole day and I do not have to replenish it.
The beauty of this sun protection...

Clarins Hydra Quench
Advantages: Smells Gorgeous
Disadvantages: Expensive
...Introduction
If you have dry skin it can become a bit of a nightmare which can ultimately affect things like not being able to wear make-up due to skin flakiness, often accompanied by the uncomfortable exposed raw feeling of the face. Not pretty and I should know I have searched long and hard for a product that would make my face feel softer and less dry with the added bonus of making it look healthier. I found Clarins hydra quench cream and to be honest now wear this product daily.
The Product
Clarins Hydra-Quench is a Rich Cream which has been developed with very dry skin in mind. And for those who are exposed to the conditions of living in cold climates. The manufacturer claims that this is an ultra-moisturising skin care product, with a fine penetrating texture that satisfies all of the needs of those people who have dry...

Is it a cream, is it a mousse? No it's skin protectant...
Advantages: Soothes very dry skin
Disadvantages: Can be greasy
...I have to say that I wrote this review just because this product kind of took me by surprise. This was given to me (a trial size) by a friend and I stupidly made the assumption it was a moisturiser. When I looked at the tube it said 'skin protectant' and no more.
On further inspection on the back I realised that with a trial size, added to the fact that my friend didn't give me the box, confused me further. I unscrewed the cap from the white tube and squeezed. Not a lot happened so I squeezed again. Slowly a bronzed coloured substance came out that to be honest looked more like lip balm than cream. I then jumped on the internet and found that this product is meant to soothe, restore, calm and help relieve chapped, cracked or dry skin. Soothes roughness, redness and minor skin irritations. I realised that with one of the ingredients...

Quick review of Riemann P20 Sun Filter High Protection
Advantages:
Disadvantages:
...As a redhead, obviously with very pale skin, I burn easily. A friend reccommended I try P20 a few years ago, and I have used nothing else since.
It will stain your clothes if you do not leave the product time to dry, and I have found I do get a heat rash sometimes - only if I apply too much. The trick is only using enough for a light coverage.
I now live on the Gold Coast of Australia, and will not step outside without using P20, I have never burned, and have not found anything else that enables me to be in the sun all day! The only downside I would say is the cost....

Best sun protection ever?
Advantages: Once a day application, brilliant protection
Disadvantages: initally expensive, may cause staining
...ears!
The usual recommendations on sensible use apply:-
Don't get it in your eyes (it stings a bit)
Don't swallow etc.
This is the only sun protection lotion we ever buy. There was a time when it was hard to get hold of it, but now it's making it's way into high street chemists like Boots & Superdrug. Auction web sites are another source.
Surely, this is the best sun lotion ever!
Happy tanning

Would You Bleach Your Hands? (Protect & Perfect Hand Cream)
Advantages: Conditions and protects your hands, contains SPF 15; a little goes a long way
Disadvantages: Expensive; can give allergic reaction; 'Bleaches your hands'
... Would You Bleach Your Hands? (Protect & Perfect Hand Cream)
.
Over the last few years, I have been more aware of various creams and potions designed to moisturise and improve the appearance and elasticity of skin. As I have sensitive skin and psoriasis, I have to be particularly careful of any items that I try, looking out in particular for lanolin, wool alcohols and certain other chemicals. I know some of the things that irritate my skin, but others seem to be totally random (or perhaps I just don't understand what all those chemical names mean!)
.
I use as natural products as possible, and have used Boots Traditional Range of Vitamin A & E cleansers, toners and so forth, but these have been discontinued. I used to use a Boots Hand and Nail Cream which also was discontinued . . . I managed to purchase several tubes when...
