...Not a bad bike at all, but it's failing is that it can't make up it's mind if it's one thing or the other. It's set up to be a light use MTB / rough towpath bike with semi-knobbly tyres, front suspension and a bouncy seatpost. As a MTB, it's too frail, as a city commuter it's too heavy and bouncy. It's ideal use would be taking the kids for Sunday rides around forestry trails. Using mine for a 10 mile hilly commute, mainly on cycle paths, I felt mine was let down by the front suspension and the poor Tioga tyres. I changed the tyres to semi-slicks which helped, and swapped the seat post to a solid one to which let me put the power down better. The front suspension still made the bike far heavier than it needed to be (36 lb including a rack) and the suspension saps your effort when pedalling hard. Along the flat this wan't too...

...thought hot chocolate was meant to be made out from cocoa powder, it was nice having a hot chocolaty drink while watching TV or surfing the net so my fingers won't shake while typing! Anyway . . . I had butlers hot chocolate drink as a Christmas gift from my uncle who lives in Ireland and is married to a lovely Irish lady. GT Aggressor XC2. What a Bike for the Money

Advantages: Strong Frame and Wheels, Tyres do not let go
Disadvantages: None really!!

...Bought this bike with my work cycle to work scheme. A great buy from Halfords. Excellent speck for the price and a very strong bike. I'm 18st 10 (253 ibs) and in my opinion this bike can handle this weight easily. Great colour Black with like a Pearlesent White, Very good speck components, Shimano Deore derauillers and Sram Truvatic Crank. Hydrolic Brakes and Discs. These will stop you instantly and do tare a little time to get used to or a flight over the bars could come along. These sqeak when covered in Muck and Water for the first few occasions, but when used this disapates. Wheels are Alex DP17 rims, Strong, Maxxis Ingnitor Tyres Grip like hell. Suntour XCR forks are ok for Cross Country riding, Not a great Jump fork, but hey Im no Jumper! (I think that if yoiu are lighter than me you could have some safe landings with these...

Butlers Hot Chocolate Drink

Advantages: Attractive packaging, attractive price point, simple to make.
Disadvantages: Not chocolatey enough!!

...Firstly, I would like to point out that although this product comes under the category of "Cocoa (Instant)", it is not cocoa - it is Hot Chocolate! That means that it is a drink made with "real" chocolate, not with cocoa powder. I have mixed feelings about Butlers chocolates in general - I have tasted many of their products, and I love some of them, and am not so keen on others. So, it was with interest that I tried this new product. It has only just become available here in Ireland, I am not sure you can buy it in the UK as yet. First things first - the box itself is very attractive. It is a rich chocolatey brown colour with the Butlers logo in gold, and a photo of a pair of hands holding a teacup with a delicious looking chocolate drink in the cup, and a piece of the chocolate that you find inside dropping into the drink...

On Yer Bike!

Advantages: Great fun, slow, Harry loves it
Disadvantages: Noisy, siren is a pain

...Now, Harry isn't what I would call a daredevil. In fact, he's not into anything that moves too fast or does things that he doesn't expect to happen, pretty much like any 2 and a half year old I expect. So as you can imagine, I wasn't overly thrilled when I found out last year that Harry's great aunt had bought him a motorised motor bike. Please bear in mind last Christmas he was only 21 months old and consequently pretty small and unconfident, but nonetheless, the Halfords Mini Racer Bike was on its way to us courtesy of my parents. It wasn't something we expected to keep for long but funnily enough, its now become Harry's favourite ever toy! Advantages: mature, inventive, beautiful and emotional
Disadvantages: really can't think of any!

...Richard Butler is best known as the charismatic rasping voiced singer in the Psychedelic Furs. After 25 years fronting the band this is his first solo album, and those expecting simply inferior Furs tracks are in for a wonderful surprise. All the songs are co-written with Jon Carin (often a member of Pink Floyd over the past 20 years or so) and all, without exception, are beautifully constructed, grown up, mature songs. Smooth keyboards and rythmn tracks slightly disguise extremely clever songwriting and some devastatingly heartbreaking lyrics. Both men lost their fathers during the prolonged making of this album and a sense of personal loss and longing permeates the album. But there is also hope and light at the end of the tunnel and despite the occasional depressing lyric this is not a doomy album in any way. Every song leaves...

...BUTLER BHO3010 PURCHASED 30TH JUNE 2006 I connected the hob to the mains and found that it did not heat up I wasnt aware that you had to connect up 3 links to make the unit work Somebody came and fixed it for £40.00 as it was not a warranty job The hob worked well up til March 2008 and then one of the touch circuit boards stopped working. I contacted the main contractor for repairs who said that I had to pay £69.99 call charge which was taken from my credit card there and then.An engineer called and said that a circuit board had gone down and it would cost £110.00 for the part. The repair was done and I was £180.00 out of pocket. I wrote to the Managing Director of Butlers at Maidstone but NEVER received any sort of reply.
