...The hostel offers, according to their literature a 'kitchen, meeting room, storage, lockers, laundry, parking, wheelchair accessible, internet'. The kitchen was large and sparkling clean, and the meeting room was well stocked with games, books and souvenirs. The hostel also offers a 'Tourist Information' service - this is basically a set of folders containing leaflets about local attractions, but these are very useful, and the staff do offer advice if you need it. Internet access was expensive compared with other hostels - TIP! - if you want to use the Internet, go around the corner to the public library, where Internet access is free. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. COST The hostel was very good value, at about a quarter of the price of hotels in the vicinity. Advantages: Atmosphere great, beaches and more
Disadvantages: Can be a it dangerous

...Miami is cool.! The beaches are great and the youh hostel which is about $12-$15 dollars is an actual hotel that is really really nice.! The beaches are amazing although the charge for deckchair/sunshades etc.. can be extortionate.! The art deco area is nice and the shopping malls great. DO NOT however travel too much and stay out of the southern coastal region as this is where you might get shot. Drive by's, car-jackin etc. occurr on a frequent basis, especially to tourists. Just listen to local advice and you wont go far wrong. A great place that allows you easy access to the keys and everglades and orlando a small way to the north. Make sure you hire a car and make the most out of your holiday. ...The Chelsea Star Hotel is situated on the corner of 30th street and eighth avenue in Manhattan. It is quite a small hostel with dorms as well as single and double rooms which are all custom designed. The bathrooms are nice and the place is always clean but there is nowhere to sit and relax - something you long for when you are staying in a dorm. There are phones, an internet machine and a coffee machine and good tourist information. I found the staff extremely helpful and friendly and I received a warm welcome. The hostel itself is in an ideal location: mid-Manhattan and within easy reach of the subway, Times Square, Madison Square Gardens and Penn station. Over all it was a good place to stay, if not a little expensive for the limited facilities. The room prices are not bad for Manhattan but not as cheap as the International Student... Read review

We managed to bag a discount and got the rooms for £30 per room per night, and it had a bar, restaurant, and a small pool (a rarity for Miami hotels). ***Cocktails or a cup of hot coco?*** Miami is hot hot hot! Temperatures average at about 75-90 Fahrenheit (25-30 Celsius) year-round. The water is warm, refreshing and clear. Hurricane season is from August to November, and if you are visiting over the summer months, prepare for a short sharp shower in the afternoon, (Florida is the lightning capital of the world!) but this soon passes and it is back to glorious sunshine. ***Getting out and about*** As we do not drive, car hire was out of the question. ...The reference to eat your heart out does not relate to the quality of the food because, being honest, I only stayed there on a bed and breakfast basis. It relates to all thye other 4 star hotels I have stayed in, particularly in the UK. The hostel is absolutely fantastic. You cannot help but be impressed by its entrance hall which will match nost seen at this category of hotel but, go to the first floor to be amazed. It has a central piazza where, not only can you enjoy breakfast but sip an evening drink or two or just coffee if that is your preference, but every evening there is live music to enjoy ranging from quartet to opera. ...- Occupying the 18th & 19th floors of a high building, you get a really superb panorama view of Tokyo. It can be seen even from the large window of your room. At night, the view is totally fabulous. Also available from bathroom, amazing! - This Youth Hostel is open to everyone. Tokyo propose expensive accomodations so this kind of place is often fully booked at certain period. But reservations are accepted three months in advance and may be made by phone or letter. - The total capacity is 158 guests. - Access guide : you can easily get by the tube, you can drop off lidabashi station (West Exit) JR Sobu Line then there's a short walk (1 mn!). ...This hostel is great value considering its central location, just off Times Square and Fifth Avenue. There is a really friendly atmosphere at this fairly international hostel, where even a private double room is only 75 dollars, and a bed in a dormitory style room is around 20 dollars. The location is perfect, and the staff who are friendly and efficient are happy to provide advice (or leaflets), and it is just round the corner from the central tourist arcade where you can get information about just about everything going on in the city. I can't see any reason not to stay in this hostel - except that it books up fairly quickly!... Read review

...I visited the Four Seasons in Miami in March 2006 after a somewhat frantic and frenetic trip to the theme parks in Orlando and was looking for a place to rest and relax and to be pampered as well as some nice places to explore and eat out. The 70 storey Four Seasons is located I the downtown financial district of Miami at Brickell Avenue and is home to not only the Four Seasons Hotel but also the HSBC bank headquarters and Four Seasons Residences; yes you can actually live in the Four Seasons Hotel for ever!
