...Everywhere i look i see Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish " one of the best cleansers i have ever used ". Unfortunatley, in my case i have to disagree. I mean, i have no major complaints about this product apart from the fact that it didnt do any justice for my complextion. I have normal to combination skin, but recently i have had a few dry days and sensitivity on my skin. I never really cleansed my face with products just the old fashion way with water and then applying a moistoriser for my skin type. I tried this product in the hope that it would help the dryness and sensitivity that i was experiencing. Not only that, but i recently decided to go all natural and organic when it comes to my skin. Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish is without a doubt the best cleanser!

Advantages: removes all make-up, including eyes, leaves skin moisturised but not oily.
Disadvantages: none!!!

...to have slightly oily, spot prone skin, and this cleanser works brilliantly for me but my mum has very dry skin and it works equally well for her! Recently I decided, as I was a bit low on money, that I would try a different, cheaper brand of cleanser but soon regretted it! The beauty of Cleanse and Polish is that it removes all make-up, including eye make-up, and not many cleansers do that. I really hate the palava of having to use seperate eye make-up remover and face cleanser so this product really saves time and fuss. The muslin cloth is also briliant at gently exfoliating the skin and removing all the make-up and grime. I have also used a few of Liz Earle's other products and love them all, especially the Liz Earle Skin Repair Light, which I have also reviewed. I really cannot recommend it highly enough....

...I was blessed with lovely skin throughout my teens only to be plagued by acne and sensitivity in my early 20's.. finally went to a salon and had my "skin mapped" by a dermalogica specialist and was given a prescription of products suitable for me: i finally bought special cleansing gel, antioxidant hydramist, active moist moisturiser, multivitamin thermofoliant, skin hydrating booster and will review each seperately. Gentle Cleansing

Advantages: Very gentle on the eye area
Disadvantages: would be nice to have an extra muslin cloth

...A first saw Liz Earl's products on QVC, the first product I saw demonstrated was the Cleanse and Polish. This is such a gentle product and really does remove all traces of makeup without irritating the skin. It is completing safe to use on the eyes, gently massage over your face and around the eyes then remove with the muslin cloth provided. Leaves skin really soft and clean. Previous face washes I have used have not been suitable for use on the eye area and most definately do irritate the eyes. This is one of the only products that I have found to be as gentle as this on the eye area. I am always a little unsure about all these products that promise such good results but this really was a winner....

...I have been using Dermalogica products for around 6 months now - I was a Clarins addict before but I found that after a while it wasn't working as well as it used to. So Dermalogica was recommended to me by a family friend. I had always seen good press coverage of it but had never really seen it in the shops. ...I first saw this product on QVC and when I first heard of cleanse and polish, I thought it sounded like an awful lot of hard work compared to cleanser and a couple of cotton pads. I was actually amazed at how quick and easy to use. You simply put some warm water in the sink with your muslin cloth, apply the cleanser to your face and massage in. The cloth takes all the make-up off your face whilst gently exfoliating. The first time I used the cleanser and swept it over my eyes, I was waiting for the stinging to start. However, because all the products in Liz Earl's range are made of natural ingredients, they are really gentle. After you have removed all of the cleanser with the muslin cloth and splashed your face with cold water, you use the toner. The toner has a wonderfully refreshing lavender scent and is fantastic...
