Biotherm Biosource Cleansing Milk - Good but not exceptional

Advantages: Cleansed and left skin soft
Disadvantages: Thisn consistency, can be overly expensive, leave residue.

...I have very oliy skin and used to wear a lot of make-up to cover my blemishes. I read an article regarding the Biotherm Biosource products which suggested they were quite good for adult oily skin as I found the products aimed at teenagers to be too harsh. I bought the cleanising milk, the toner and the moisturiser. This review is regarding the Cleanising milk but I will review the other products where possible. The 250ml lasted 3 months (bearing in mind I do wear quite a lot of base make-up). I bought it from duty free for approximately £8.99 and to be honest, whilst the product performed well I do not think it would be worth paying too much more for it. The consistency is quite thin and it can be tricky to apply as it does tend to run between fingers. It also require a couple of applications and wash offs to remove an evening...

Gentle Cleansing

...A first saw Liz Earl's products on QVC, the first product I saw demonstrated was the Cleanse and Polish. This is such a gentle product and really does remove all traces of makeup without irritating the skin. It is completing safe to use on the eyes, gently massage over your face and around the eyes then remove with the muslin cloth provided. Leaves skin really soft and clean. Previous face washes I have used have not been suitable for use on the eye area and most definately do irritate the eyes. This is one of the only products that I have found to be as gentle as this on the eye area. I am always a little unsure about all these products that promise such good results but this really was a winner....

...Cleanse and Polish is a cleanser that is made using natural products such as Echinacea and Aloe . It smells wonderful. It has helped clear up patches of excema on my face and also my sons acne. It is used along with muslin cloths which are wet with hot water and wiped across your face to remove the cleanser. This also removes dead skin cells. This helps with the renewal of your skin. Husbands also get hold of it and use it for shaving. It is a family product and has no harsh chemicals in it. It comes in a pump action container which measures out the correct amount to use. Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish is without a doubt the best cleanser!

Advantages: removes all make-up, including eyes, leaves skin moisturised but not oily.
Disadvantages: none!!!

...to have slightly oily, spot prone skin, and this cleanser works brilliantly for me but my mum has very dry skin and it works equally well for her! Recently I decided, as I was a bit low on money, that I would try a different, cheaper brand of cleanser but soon regretted it! The beauty of Cleanse and Polish is that it removes all make-up, including eye make-up, and not many cleansers do that. I really hate the palava of having to use seperate eye make-up remover and face cleanser so this product really saves time and fuss. The muslin cloth is also briliant at gently exfoliating the skin and removing all the make-up and grime. I have also used a few of Liz Earle's other products and love them all, especially the Liz Earle Skin Repair Light, which I have also reviewed. I really cannot recommend it highly enough....
