...The Client, is a story about an 11 year old boy, Mark Sway and his eight year old brother, Ricky who go off into the woods at the back of their trailer home, so that Mark can let Ricky have his first smoke, but a mob lawyer decides that this is where he is going to commit suicide. The lawyer is Jerome Clifford you just happens to be defending Mob gangster Barry the Blade Muldanno against the charge of murdering Senator Boyette, Mark tries to stop the suicide and is grabbed by Jerome and dragged into the car, Mark manages to get away but finds his brother in severe shock. What lengths must be taken to protect The Client?

Advantages: Fantastic author, informative and interesting the whole way through.
Disadvantages: None

...The Client is about an 11 year old boy called Mark Sway who is from a broken family and has witnessed the death of a US State Senator. He is being pursued by the FBI whom wants him to reveal everything he knows about the killing and in the meantime the killer himself is trying to get to Mark & his mother and cause them harm in order to stop Mark from talking about what he witnessed whilst having a sneaky cigarette in the woods near his house. Mark consults a lawyer, Reggie Love, who sets out to protect Mark from the FBI whilst trying to shield him from the actual killer who wants to ensure that Mark is never able to talk to anybody else about what has happened. The book is very action packed and I found myself feeling real sympathy for Mark as he was just a young boy who was doing something silly and found himself in the wrong place...

A small boy in big trouble!

...This is a film only review. I pretty much have enjoyed reading most of John Grisham's books and generally I think that they adapt well to the big screen. I read The Client many years ago and also watched the film, but it was such a long time that when I saw it on Film Four the other day it was like watching it for the first time. The film centres on a young boy called Mark Sway who, along with his younger brother, witnesses a man take his own life. However, this is no ordinary suicide though, as the man who killed himself had links to the mob. Suddenly, everyone from the district attorney to the mob to the media, is suddenly interested in what Mark might have seen or heard. Mark realises that one way or another he is in big trouble and sets out to find himself a lawyer even though he has no money. Eventually, he finds a woman lawyer...

Software Supreme, Physical Let Down.

Advantages: Versatile, nice design, internet facility, storage, large amount of features.
Disadvantages: Physical problems: buttons breaking/falling off, common shaker breaking probelm.

...become very annoying as this also seems to be a common error and friends have had to completely remove the buttons from the phone which destroys the look. Unfortunately this brings the rating of the phone down, as far as the software is concerned the phone is perfect it is only the physical problems that spoil the W850i....

...I'm not a fan of John Grisham novels, I've read a few until I realised they were pretty much the same thing rehashed over and over, but sadly, or not depending upon your viewpoint, they do translate very easily into everything Hollywood requires from it's legal thrillers - lots of action, not much in the way of originality and the cinematic equivalent of a good page-turner. They also seem to attract some of Hollywood's finest and with Tommy Lee Jones and Susan Sarandon taking up the lead adult roles here and Joel Schumacher(OK, 'finest' is a little tenuous there, but he does a few good ones!) planting himself in the director's chair, 1994's "The Client" is no exception. Free and Shareware Music software
