Advantages: close to home, great service, friendly and knowledgeable staff, great atmosphere

...On my recent visit to simplyou beauty clinic, I had a very pleasent experience. I opted to go for a multi-vitamin facial treatment and also to get my nails done. The staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome - nothing is too much trouble - they really go out of their way to make you feel relaxed. Their treatment rooms are very well equipped and staff are very knowledgeable about their subject and are able to give great tips and advice. For the facial, you're asked to remove your upper body clothing and put on a strapless robe - this is so they can apply products to your face and neck - and as the masque is applied and left on for a quarter of an hour, you're also offered a relaxing scalp and neck massage, or a shoulder, arm and hand massage. Just Car Clinic - Just poor clinic

Advantages: Specialists in accident repair
Disadvantages: Many aspects of the service overlooked or poor

...Just Car clinic were recommended to us by our insurer following an accident which wasn't our fault. There was minor cosmetic damage on two panels on the rear of the drivers side. They came to collect the car on a Friday afternoon, telephoning before they set off. The driver walked around the car and recorded the damage inflicted by the accident, did not leave me with any form of receipt or a copy of the damage indication form he filled out to take back with him. And left. The website has it's own on-line tracking system where you can enter your car's job number and track the progress of your repairs. Unfortunately, the Just Car Clinic kept my car for nearly a week (until the following Friday) before they even looked at the damage and submitted an estimate to my insurance company, which raised problems with the courtesy car a separate...

At the release of their debut effort in 2000, they were critically acclaimed as an experimental yet accessible take on their punk influences. Clinically bizarre.

Advantages: Fans of noise will like it.
Disadvantages: Won't set the world on fire.

...Clinic chose to call themselves thus because they believe the current music scene is dead (true), and that they are the ones who can breathe new life into its still-twitching corpse. On the strength of this album, the miracle isn't likely to happen for quite some time but it's a promising beginning. The excellent, rollicking lead single The Return Of Evil Bill is one of the highpoints here but there's not much else that can match it, save the gentle Distortions. Most of the songs are under three minutes long and use the same ingredients: harmonica, ultra-distorted guitar, and muffled, high-pitched vocals. The atonal noise on dislpay is the only thing that recalls the oft-cited influence of The velvet Underground. It's also a pity that the band have sold out by soundtracking the latest Levi jeans advert. It may earn the fans but it won...

One of the symptoms of this condition is excess facial hair. This has been heightened by the fact that I come from quite a hairy family anyway and in addition I have dark brown hair. This virus is nasty, it changes the way that the system associates .exe files and assigns a new one. Wintask does not look too bad if you like flowers and don't want to use your system. Thanks to Mcafee Clinic it has now been chomped - in fact it took less than three hours from discovery to resolution. First I had to use my back-up connection to World on-line to access Mcafee - the Aol connection having become contaminated - then run Virus scan. It picked it up straight away and then isolated it. mixing odd sounds, with odd lyrics

...I would never of come across this album or the band for that matter had I not of been a keen user of Spotify. As it was under the section for what you may like I clicked on it and the rest, as they say, is history. Their first album, 3eps, was released in 1999 so The Clinics are not a newly formed band. After listening to it you can tell that their style has not changed too much. Still just as odd with slightly bizarre lyrics. "I've pictured you in coffins, my baby's in a coffin" Those few lines are part of a song which is supposed to be about love. The actual album is pretty short considering it's got 13 songs. Only lasting about 35 minutes in total, so blink and you may miss one. It uses an eclectic mix of guitars, drums, electronics, the seaside, tambourines, mouth organs and other stringed instruments. Lose 5 lbs in five days

Advantages: Great for kick starting a healthy eating regime
Disadvantages: You should not stay on this for longer than two weeks

...I got this diet from someone several years ago and it was entitled 'Mayo Clinic Diet' but as I understand it the Mayo Clinic actually has no association with it at all so bear that in mind as you read on. This diet offers rapid weight loss in matter of days but is not intended for sustained use. I use it from time to time when I feel my weight is creeping up and find it helps to kick start me into weight loss and is a good start before I engage in a more healthy eating regime. I find I can lose around 6 lb in five days on this diet and I tend only to use it for five days rather than the suggested two weeks (they suggest you can lose 20 ibs in two weeks). It works for me but I do stick to it rigidly and personally I think rapid weight loss diets do carry risks if you stay on them too long hence my five days maximum on this diet...
