Perfect matte finish from Clinique Double Effect Face Powder
Advantages: *Perfect matte finish *Lasts all day; 6 month lifetime *Blends for unnoticeable coverage
Disadvantages: *Price - but still a good investment!
...Having tried nearly all the high street brands of face powder, I was getting pretty desperate and willing to pay a bit more to see if some of the 'designer' beauty brands offered me more for my money. I have always trusted Clinique as a brand and this time they didn't let me down - I have very oily but sensitive skin, with the odd few blemishes, spots and visible pores on my T-zone. I was looking for a powder that was quick and simple to apply, without all this 'tidemark' business, and one that would totally mattify my oily skin whilst not making me break-out in spots or blemishes. And I found it! In my opinion it gave me about 90% coverage and blended really nicely with my skin (ask the lady at the counter for which shade to go for... I was about to buy one about 2 shades too dark before she asked if the powder was for me!). As far as I...

Power To The Powder!!!
Advantages: Light, gets rid of spots, nicely presented, the list goes on and on . . .
Disadvantages: Quite Expensive
...Clinique Super Double Face Powder
What Is It?
Clinique Super Double Face Powder is a specially formulated powder which can be used over liquid foundation or on its own. It can be bought in different colours to match your specific skin colour. Before being sold, it is allergy tested 7,200 times by 600 individuals. It is also 100% Fragrance free. The three main ingredients in the product are; Talc, Titanium Dioxide and Isostearyl. Where To Buy, And How Much?
I bought my Clinique powder from a duty-free on a ferry from France, where it was £13.20. Normally, the Clinique Powder would cost £18.50. The powder can be bought from Boots, Debenhams or a Clinique website. If you ask at the counter, the experts can give you advice on which products would best suit your skin type...

Clinique Super Powder.
Advantages: Brilliant flawless coverage that will last all day!
Disadvantages: £16 pounds for a powder may seem a little excessive to some!
...I'm sure you'll agree that Clinique is a trustworthy (and a tad pricy) make-up brand. Personally when looking for powders, I would by-pass all expensive brands and head straigt for 17 or Rimmel. So it was a bit of risk when I decided I'd go the extra mile and buy something that would look and feel great...
Clinique Superpowder is definitly the best compact powder I have ever come across. It blends perfectly to my fair skin tone, it's light and gives a flawless coverage. Not only that but it stays on all day and worth comes in a stylish square case with a mirror and sponge.
A brilliant long lasting powder that will quickly become a must have in your daily routine. This powder is usually priced between £14 and £17 but in my opinion it's worth spending a little extra for a brand which is quality and which will last in the long run....

Clinique Blended Loose Face Powder
Advantages: 100% fragrance free, generous amount
Disadvantages: Slightly expensive
...I decided to buy this loose powder because my previous powder, Rimmel Clear Complexion powder, (which is a pressed powder), was always wearing off quickly, and looked slightly cakey.
This is the first Clinique product I have purchased, and I was a bit put off by the price.
However, the simple, yet attractive and very generous 35g jar convinced me to give it a go. It also came with a small, silver, swivel-out brush.
The product is available in 6 different shades:
Transparency 1
Transparency 2
Transparency 3
Transparency 4
Transparency 5
Transparency Neutral
The sale assistant recommended Transparency 3 for my skin- which is fair, with yellow undertones.
Clinique claims the powder 'makes pores seem to disappear', and it does! It leaves a lovely, natural effect- not cakey or powdery at all. A great improvement from my...

A smooth compact powder foundation... at a price.
Advantages: Anti-Blemish ingredients and a lovely smooth feeling.
Disadvantages: Rather pricey!
...I've used many different types of powder foundation and I'm always trying out new ones! As a result I end up with alot of half empty compacts with varying different brands, apart from my Clinique Clarifying Powder.
I first found out about Clinique's Clarifying Powder after I had been on Clinique's website. I had been wanting to try a Clinique foundation or powder for a while but I wasn't sure which was the best option for me. I discovered a handy little feature on Clinique named the 'Foundation Finder.' After you have carried out a 'Skin Report' they tell you which foundations are the best for your type of skin. I have quite combination skin, it can be quite oily at times, dry at other times, and I suffer from blemishes.
I like to wear powder over my liquid foundation to give a better coverage to my face, which has a few large...

Clinique Pressed Powder
Advantages: Covers blemishes, Variety of Shades
Disadvantages: Cakey, feels thick, wears away
...Clinique pressed powder is moderately priced compared to other high end department store cosmetics. I have used the matte beige pressed powder quite a few times. It was very easy for me to find my shade with their system. I enjoyed the product because it hides the occasional facial blemish very well. But on the other hand, it was quite cakey. I didn't like feeling the make-up's thickness. The powder easily wiped off also. This was a major disadvantage. I couldn't hug my boyfriend without getting brown powder on his shirt. Even without touching wearing it away, it doesn't hold up as long as I'd prefer. It tended to last approximately 3 to 5 hours, and I'm not a fan of re-applying. Overall, I'd only reccomend it to those who need something thick enough to hide semi-major blemishes and don't mind re-applying. Other then that, I...

Clinique Unhappy
Advantages: Allergy tested, Fragrance free, Some improvements to my skin
Disadvantages: Very expensive, Smells like TCP
...As brands of skincare products go, you don't get much bigger (or much more prestigious) than Clinique. Established in 1968, these are cosmetics so posh that they have to be sold by scarily immaculate women in clinical white outfits stationed on special counters in Boots and department stores rather than off the shelf like most brands - and they have price tags to match. Anybody who knows me may well be wondering what someone as cheap as me is doing with such top of the range toiletries. How exactly can I afford to indulge in the legendary "3 Step System" that Clinique purvey? The simple answer is that I can't?but I did find a bottle of their Clarifying Lotion 3 lurking around on ebay for a modest price (by Clinique standards) and decided to give it a try. After all, hadn't I read plenty of glowing reviews here saying how wonderful...

This powder is just super!
Advantages: excellent coverage, range of colours, leaves a smooth finish
Disadvantages: none at all
...skin so theres no need for continuous re-applying.
~* ADVICE & TIPS *~
I dont really have any advice to give on this product as its so easy to use, what i would say to anyone thinking of buying is if you havent used this before and dont know what colour is right for you dont buy over the net as you may find that the colour is wrong for your skin so you wont get the full benefits of the powder. Also some people (like me) wont like applying the powder with the sponge provided. Instead i like to use a normal powder puff as its easy to use and gives even coverage which you can find in most places like boots or superdrug and they arent expensive!
~* WHERE CAN I GET IT? *~
You can find the Clinique Superpowder powder in most department stores such as...

Clinique are All About Eyes
Advantages: Tones skin, nice silky texture, diminishes dark circles
Disadvantages: Doesn't rid me completely of the dark circles, no SPF
...Dark circles are my biggest complexion problem - no matter what I do, whether it's more sleep, more water, eye creams, they don't seem to budge. Having tried numerous eye creams in the past, I'd not been convinced that they really did anything to help shift the circles, but when I began to suffer from tiny patches of dry skin under my eye last month, I knew it was time to invest in an eye cream pretty sharpish! Having read numerous positive reviews of Clinique's All About Eyes on Dooyoo, it seemed to be the best choice as it promised to rid me of the dark circles as well as moisturising.
All About Eyes is packaged in a small 15ml orangey pink pot with silver screw top lid. Like all Clinique packaging, it's simple but classy and looks great. It has a plastic cover underneath the lid to prevent the cream from falling into the lid if you...

Clinique.
Advantages: Jolly good skin
Disadvantages: The price
...Before moving to France, I was one of those women whose most expensive toiletry purchase was a Boots own, three for the price of two, makeup remover/moisturiser/ toner - I really didn't give the subject much thought. On arriving in Paris, I was faced by a very peculiar phenomena - women seemed to spend *A LOT* of money on looking good, not just their clothes, but also their skin care. Not to be outdone by the chic little b*****s (do I sound bitter?), I decided to investigate.
The most popular brand here is Lancome, but after discovering that Lancome also own Loreal and basically repackage those items for the Lancome range (and being allergic to most Loreal products), I decided to try out Clinique.
Clinique has mystique in Paris, simply because it isn?t a French brand, so I was making one of those one-up-woman-ship deals on my...
