Dove Beauty Care Bodywash was more than just a burst of goodness.

Advantages: Amazing scent, lathers well
Disadvantages: Pricey, small bottle size, so it itsnt long lasting

...Quite honestly i did have mixed views on the Dove Beauty Care Bodywash Burst. My initial thought as most women do, is go to the chemist or body shop. And as we do, I lifted up the cap and gave it a smell. As i have always had high expectations from Dove, it pleasantly suprised me that they had finally deviated from their "classic" dove smell, and introduced something a lot more fruity, and pleasant to smell. Where as the old dove products left a classy aroma, this one smelt vibrant, tangy, and fruity, which was quite perfect to waken someone, or just for a feel good factor. It wasn't like the other scents in the Dove Burst range. For example, there is the lemon zest, which refreshing initially, becomes overpowering. The nectarine in this body wash, is tangy and fruity and nicely balanced with the ginger that is fused together...

...Since the time I was born I have had very dry skin; as a child I used Hydrocortisone cream which only ever soothed the itching and flaking for a while and then caused the dryness to flare up again, with the added bonus of making my skin hyper sensitive. It wasn't until I became an image obsessed, self absorbed, love hungry teenager that it actually began to bother me (turning up to high school with dry skin peeling off your face is not the ticket to popularity, apparently). Along with super dryness I also managed to get the few spots, which eventually turned into more than a few spots... So being a thoroughly neurotic male I took my money to the nearest Beatties, looked for the cosmetic station with the prettiest assistant and got a free 'Clinique consultation'.... and I have been using their products ever since. This comes in a 500ml teardrop shaped white plastic bottle it has the original Dove in blue writing at the top with a small gold dove underneath, it looks as if there is a big ray of sunshine in the middle at the bottom with the words for the glow of silky smooth skin. It has a flip top lid with a beige stripe on. This will cost around £2.99 but I wouldn?t normally pay this much I was bought for me. It is quite thick and of the same colour as the beige lid, Its hard to explain the smell but it is the same as any other dove but with a fruitier smell. Established in 1968, these are cosmetics so posh that they have to be sold by scarily immaculate women in clinical white outfits stationed on special counters in Boots and department stores rather than off the shelf like most brands - and they have price tags to match. Clinique - treat yourself!

My staple products for ages were Simple Facial Wash & Lotion E45 or Nivea Lotion (blue bottle). I'd always thought my skin was in quite good condition. ...Background: I?ve always had rubbish skin and as such I?ve been through many phases: the tea tree oil phase, the witchhazel stage, the benzoyl peroxide era? eventually, as I?m now the wrong side of 25 and still suffering from spots, I decided it was time to throw some money at the problem so decided to try Clinique Three Step. The product: Clinique three step sells itself as ?three minutes, twice a day? to get better skin. It involves first washing your face with a liquid soap, then using a type of cleanser/toner liquid on a cotton wool pad and finally moisturizing using their ?dramatically different? hydrating gel. These three products definitely enhance the sophisication of your bathroom in their classy green, pink and yellow hues, but even more importantly they seem to work!
