Perfect matte finish from Clinique Double Effect Face Powder
Advantages: *Perfect matte finish *Lasts all day; 6 month lifetime *Blends for unnoticeable coverage
Disadvantages: *Price - but still a good investment!
...Having tried nearly all the high street brands of face powder, I was getting pretty desperate and willing to pay a bit more to see if some of the 'designer' beauty brands offered me more for my money. I have always trusted Clinique as a brand and this time they didn't let me down - I have very oily but sensitive skin, with the odd few blemishes, spots and visible pores on my T-zone. I was looking for a powder that was quick and simple to apply, without all this 'tidemark' business, and one that would totally mattify my oily skin whilst not making me break-out in spots or blemishes. And I found it! In my opinion it gave me about 90% coverage and blended really nicely with my skin (ask the lady at the counter for which shade to go for... I was about to buy one about 2 shades too dark before she asked if the powder was for me!). As far as I...

Gives my face a flawless finish
Advantages: amazing product
Disadvantages: price
...****Clinique Blended Face Powder and Brush ****
I first tried this when i was given a free sample of it last year and i love it.
**About brand**
Clinque sell high quality make up and toiletry products. I love clinque products and don't think i have ever came across a product that i have been unhappy with . The brand is great and if i could afford to i would stock up on it lol.
**Packaging**
This comes in a clear round tub with a twisty lid. I have also received this quite a few times in one of clinques ?buy .... and get something free? . These ones tend to come in a round cardboard box and you get 2g worth of product. I would say this is worth getting to try the product out and at the same time treat yourself to other products !! :P.
**Product**
This comes in 5 different blends-one for very fair skin,2 for moderately fair and two...

Clinique-ly tested
Advantages: Effective, allergy-free, also ok on sensitive skin
Disadvantages: price tag not for everyone...
...not yet hit Austria, so there was the thought of either returning my easily-earned money to the piggy bank or choosing the more acceptable option, i.e. finding a substitute product, and this is where Clinique stepped in!
Clinique Skin Supplies for Men - Face Scrub is a little bit classier than your average facial scrubs, although many would probably baulk at the price tag of EUR23.70 for a 100ml tube, which is around the GBP15 mark. The tube does however go a long way, with the 100ml tube still half full after daily (as recommended) application daily for the last 5 weeks, and I find there is a lot less wastage than with the cheaper facial scrubs, but it may be because I am more careful with this stuff than I would if it were available for a mere GBP2-3 a tube.
The packaging is simple ? a cardboard box in grey and with white and silver...

Wash Your Face In My Sink
Advantages: Cleans your skin well
Disadvantages: Really expected more because of the price
...Clean skin is the foundation of a healthy look. Clean supple skin will stay blemish-free and make up can be applied with more ease. It's very important to cleanse properly before going to sleep because otherwise your pores can become blocked, your complexion can become dull and your skin will age quicker.
I like to try lots of different products and usually once I've run out of the product I have been using I will use the opportunity to buy something from another range or brand or even just a different type of product from the same brand. Change is a good thing!
I recently tried Clinique's Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser after receiving a deluxe sample size of it during one of Clinique's Bonus Times.
Clinique and you?
I'm sure most people have heard of Clinique. Clinique is an Estee Lauder company and was launched in 1968...

Clinique Unhappy
Advantages: Allergy tested, Fragrance free, Some improvements to my skin
Disadvantages: Very expensive, Smells like TCP
...you have these problems I would certainly recommend that you give it a try alongside a face wash product that suits you. However, I would not recommend that you use Clinique's Clarifying Lotion 3 - it is overpriced for what it contains, so all you are paying for is the posh brand name, and I personally don't think it matches up to the grand claims on the packaging. I will finish this bottle as I already have it, but I will not buy it again.
Not recommended.

Classic Clinique
Advantages: Cheaper than other designer brands, widespread, staff
Disadvantages: May irritate sensitive skin
...products and safety test all of them.
They have a thing called the ?3 Step System.? Depending on your skin type (dry, combination etc) you are recommended. There are 3 steps to effective skin care: cleansing, toning and moisturising. I personally don?t use this; I use Liz Earle cleanser, Lancôme toner and Estée Lauder moisturiser. On the website or in-store, you can find out what your skin type is if you don?t already know.
I use make-up and sun care products by Clinique. They have such a wide range of affordable lip-glosses and eye shadows that last for ages and are cheaper than Dior or Chanel. The face powder is also fantastic. I use the Stay-Matte Sheer Pressed Powder that is oil free. The compact is the classic Clinique pearly green and has a mirror, which unfortunately is not that flattering! The powder does work really well though...

Clinique Blended Loose Face Powder
Advantages: 100% fragrance free, generous amount
Disadvantages: Slightly expensive
...previous powder.
Clinique advises you to 'Hand-rub onto face for most silken, flawless finish. Whisk off excess with swivel-out brush', but I personally prefer to press into T-zone (where I apply the powder) with a makeup sponge, and then I use the brush to brush off excess. This leaves a lovely, naturally matted look,. but not overly matte like other products- you will not feel like you're wearing a mask. I prefer using a sponge instead of fingers, as using your fingers leave behind oils, and means makeup wears of faster.
The cute swivel-out brush is great for taking out- I dip the brush in the powder and secure with the lid, which leaves just the right amount for a touch up during the day.
I am taking away one star, because I found that although this powder leaves your skin with a natural matte look, this does not last for as long as I...

Foam my face clean!
Advantages: really refreshes and cleans your skin
Disadvantages: can be a bit dehyfrating at times
...your hands and face, the squeeze a pea sized amount onto your palm and work into a lather. Massage over face and throat and rinse off with clean warm water. Clinique the recommend to follow with the 3-step system. (See your local Cliniqe counter or www.clinique.co.uk for more details.)
I have got this in my eyes and it really really stings. So be careful!
You really dont need more than a pea sized amount as the cream is quite thick in consistency and lathers up to a large amount. I have had mine for just over 6 months now and just under half is left. That is using it once a day.
My skin is left feeling fresh, clean, tingly and slightly tight. The tingly and tightness goes away quite quickly though. Sometimes my skin does get a bit dry with this so I sometimes use every other day with moisturiser. This is the only problem I...

Clinique are All About Eyes
Advantages: Tones skin, nice silky texture, diminishes dark circles
Disadvantages: Doesn't rid me completely of the dark circles, no SPF
...Dark circles are my biggest complexion problem - no matter what I do, whether it's more sleep, more water, eye creams, they don't seem to budge. Having tried numerous eye creams in the past, I'd not been convinced that they really did anything to help shift the circles, but when I began to suffer from tiny patches of dry skin under my eye last month, I knew it was time to invest in an eye cream pretty sharpish! Having read numerous positive reviews of Clinique's All About Eyes on Dooyoo, it seemed to be the best choice as it promised to rid me of the dark circles as well as moisturising.
All About Eyes is packaged in a small 15ml orangey pink pot with silver screw top lid. Like all Clinique packaging, it's simple but classy and looks great. It has a plastic cover underneath the lid to prevent the cream from falling into the lid if you...

Clinique.
Advantages: Jolly good skin
Disadvantages: The price
...Before moving to France, I was one of those women whose most expensive toiletry purchase was a Boots own, three for the price of two, makeup remover/moisturiser/ toner - I really didn't give the subject much thought. On arriving in Paris, I was faced by a very peculiar phenomena - women seemed to spend *A LOT* of money on looking good, not just their clothes, but also their skin care. Not to be outdone by the chic little b*****s (do I sound bitter?), I decided to investigate.
The most popular brand here is Lancome, but after discovering that Lancome also own Loreal and basically repackage those items for the Lancome range (and being allergic to most Loreal products), I decided to try out Clinique.
Clinique has mystique in Paris, simply because it isn?t a French brand, so I was making one of those one-up-woman-ship deals on my...
