Clinique happy feminine flowery scent gives "butterfly effect"

Advantages: really long lasting,uplifting fresh feminine and flowery, cheeky scent
Disadvantages: the bottle looks dull, not for formal or very serious occasions, many people uses it

...I've got my first Clinique Happy perfume about 5 years ago as a birthday present from my mum. I wasn't specially `happy` when I first noticed the bottle as I had expected a different fragrance for the occasion and it made me a kind of nervous that everybody encouraged me to wear lighter, fresh scents due to my age however deeper exotic perfumes excited me much more those times. My first impression about the fragrance was that it was "nice" but i didn't find it really special or exciting, however I did use it every day till it ran out. Only a few months ago I discovered a bottle in the local pharmacy and just to remember the scent I sprayed a bit on my wrist. This time the effect was totally different from the first experience. As the fresh, light but youngish cheeky mixture reached my nose my imagination took me to a spring field full...

Clinique Happy - didn't make me feel especially happy!

Advantages: May smell nice on some people; nice bottle; shimmer version very pretty
Disadvantages: Smelled unpleasant when I wore it; also very faint smell

...I received Clinique Happy as a very thoughtful present from my mum. The version I was given had special shimmer particles in it, leaving a subtle glittery sheen wherever it was sprayed. I'm not sure whether that version is still in production. I am reviewing this perfume as it smelled when it was new - I know that perfume can't be kept indefinitely, as it goes past its best! The bottle is a simple glass cylinder with a smooth metal lid. It comes in a cheerful orange box. The bottle is an attractive, minimalist type design with the name of the fragrance printed on it. The edition that I had was full of tiny sparkly particles, which led to a lovely swirly silky liquid in the bottle when it was shaken. BADGE IS HAPPY TO GO BACK TO THE CLINIQUE......

Advantages: Smells gorgeous, fairly cheap, long lasting.
Disadvantages: Foul bottle, stings like a bitch when applied.

...Happy by Clinique came into my waning collection of aftershaves as a gift earlier in the year. It was one of those fragrances my girlfriend loved the smell of and ultimately was wrapped and thrust into my hand! Coming in an orange card box, the bottle (as seen above) looks horrid! Oval in shape, the overall first impression was "eurgh" but the looks were indeed deceiving. On removing the lid I was greeted with a fruity citrus aroma that reminded me more of a bowl of oranges (hence the colour of the bottle I'd say) and upon inspecting the notes, this is marketed as a refreshing masculine scent made from a blend of lemons, mandarins, oranges and grapefruit and is recommended for day wear around the office. ...This morning before we went out on our Great Pre-Christmas Shopping Expedition I decided to don some of my dwindling supply of Clinique Happy for Men, Cologne Spray. It costs about £22.00 or so and is worth every little spray. The bottle of Clinique Happy for Men, Cologne Spray is 3.4 fl or 10ml in new money. It comes in a nice glass container. The container is transparent but is not clear. It is a nice orange colour which seems to be the colour for Clinique Happy for Men Cologne Spray. It is made in America which means that before it arrived in the local branch of Debenhams. In fact, my bottle of Clinique Happy for Men Cologne Spray is better travelled than I am! I'm happy cause I smell GOOOOOOD!

Advantages: Light, fresh fragrance suitable for everyday use, reasonably long-lasting
Disadvantages: I find I need to use a few squirts therefore using it up quickly

...Direct, etc, but not too heavily discounted, usually around £18. There is a lotion and body wash available, and Clinique offer a couple more perfumes in the "Happy" family, so be careful to choose the right one. For me, Happy is definitely my favourite of the lot. But most importantly...does wearing it make me happy? YES! It's well documented that citrus scents are good for giving you an energy boost and elevated mood, and happy does make me feel good. If only for the fact that I like smelling nice! I'd recommend Happy as a good everyday perfume for someone looking for a fresh, discrete scent....

Happy by Clinique what more can a girl ask for

...Happy by clinique - well what can l say? Everyone l feel has a signature smell - this is mine. A light slightly sweet smelling perfume that reminds me of long lazy summer days - even in the depths of winter. Apart from the perfume itself l would strongly advise any Happy devotees to try out the body lotion - since wearing this l have had lots of people - male and female comment on how good l smelled. The packaging is simplistic and therefore very effective, with orange being the main colour. There is an excellent range of complimentary products to go alongside the perfume body lotion, body spray, shower gel to name a few. The fragrance itself as it is quite light and refreshing is an excellent day wear perfume - but please do not let this put you off wearing it at night and on all special occassions. Clinique Happy perfume

Advantages: light and fresh

...As a free sample at Bonus time, this is a welcome, though not overused addition to my fragrance collection. Sweet and light, the fragrance isn't overwhelming, but doesn't last all day...though the Clinique lady at my local counter did recommend 'layering' the various bath and body products in the range for a longer lasting effect. For me this is definitely a 'wear to work' product. Neither sexy nor too appealing, but fresh -scented and acceptable, this is handy to carry in your handbag. I'm not yet sure if I'll be buying a replacement when my sample runs out......

I too acquitred it through the 'bonus-time' offer (after buying 'naturally glassy mascara and take the day away make up remover - reviews to come!. In these offers, clinique kindly provide you with samples of their best or newest products. Clinique happy is a fruity, light perfume perfect for fun summer days - the smell reminds me of the beach and summer holidays. The sample size bottle is perfect for taking on nights out, the bottle is small and looks good, unlike other sample perfumes you can actualy spray it, so you can keep smelling yummy all night. I think the smallest actual purchase size is about £30, and there are lots of fragranced products that can go woth it (bubble baths, moisturizers etc). Buy it, or do as i do, soemwhat...

Don't worry, be happy

...In a happy jovial mood this morning, and while dancing around getting ready for work I happened across an old faithful of mine, Clinique Happy. I go through stages of fickleness to perfume so inevitably things get forgotten but this was definitely worth rediscovering... **THE PACKAGING** Its pretty funky as you can see from the pic, the bright orange box it comes in is hard to miss with the distinctive Clinique logo across the middle. The bottle itself is a fairly simple affair, which personally I prefer. Its an oval shape, easy to hold on to when applying so avoiding the dreaded perfume-in-all-the-wrong-places moment (dont ask me about that one!) and see-through so you know exactly how much there is to go before you need to flutter some eye lashes and get some more bought for you. Forget your troubles, come on get happy

...After a few too many Bacardi and Cokes one fine evening I decided to overnight with a girlfriend at her place rather than trek home to mine. Next morning the usual ritual when at another person's home...brush my teeth, fix my hair, have a good look at the lotions, creams and perfumes scattered around. Heh, it would be rude not to show an interest...(and no, awful as it sounds, no shower...I have a SERIOUS issue with running water when I'm hungover, the sound/sight of which is guaranteed to have me running head-first to the toilet.
