Clinique happy feminine flowery scent gives "butterfly effect"

Advantages: really long lasting,uplifting fresh feminine and flowery, cheeky scent
Disadvantages: the bottle looks dull, not for formal or very serious occasions, many people uses it

...decorate my room with colourful, shiny perfume-sculptures and...well... this Clinique bottle isn't the brightest piece of all. I guess they wanted to show the beauty of simplicity with this kind of solution, which could work well with products like the former Clinique Simple fragrance, but I'd expect a little bit more from a creation called HAPPY. About the scent Fresh, flowery, feminine fragrance with some extra spice as I would describe. I am usually not a big fan of very fresh and pervasive fragrances, it happens very rarely that I can be attached to a scent like it. Clinique Happy is one of the 3 mixtures (together with Boss women and Anna Sui Secret Wish) of the fresher type I'm happy to wear. Clinique Happy - didn't make me feel especially happy!

Advantages: May smell nice on some people; nice bottle; shimmer version very pretty
Disadvantages: Smelled unpleasant when I wore it; also very faint smell

...I received Clinique Happy as a very thoughtful present from my mum. The version I was given had special shimmer particles in it, leaving a subtle glittery sheen wherever it was sprayed. I'm not sure whether that version is still in production. I am reviewing this perfume as it smelled when it was new - I know that perfume can't be kept indefinitely, as it goes past its best! The bottle is a simple glass cylinder with a smooth metal lid. It comes in a cheerful orange box. The bottle is an attractive, minimalist type design with the name of the fragrance printed on it. Advantages: Light fresh perfume

...Happy by clinique - well what can l say? Everyone l feel has a signature smell - this is mine. A light slightly sweet smelling perfume that reminds me of long lazy summer days - even in the depths of winter. Apart from the perfume itself l would strongly advise any Happy devotees to try out the body lotion - since wearing this l have had lots of people - male and female comment on how good l smelled. The packaging is simplistic and therefore very effective, with orange being the main colour. There is an excellent range of complimentary products to go alongside the perfume body lotion, body spray, shower gel to name a few. The fragrance itself as it is quite light and refreshing is an excellent day wear perfume - but please do not let this put you off wearing it at night and on all special occassions. Advantages: Smells gorgeous, fairly cheap, long lasting.
Disadvantages: Foul bottle, stings like a bitch when applied.

...This morning before we went out on our Great Pre-Christmas Shopping Expedition I decided to don some of my dwindling supply of Clinique Happy for Men, Cologne Spray. It costs about £22.00 or so and is worth every little spray. The bottle of Clinique Happy for Men, Cologne Spray is 3.4 fl or 10ml in new money. It comes in a nice glass container. The container is transparent but is not clear. It is a nice orange colour which seems to be the colour for Clinique Happy for Men Cologne Spray. It is made in America which means that before it arrived in the local branch of Debenhams. In fact, my bottle of Clinique Happy for Men Cologne Spray is better travelled than I am! I'm happy cause I smell GOOOOOOD!

Advantages: Light, fresh fragrance suitable for everyday use, reasonably long-lasting
Disadvantages: I find I need to use a few squirts therefore using it up quickly

...makes the bottle run out pretty quickly. I have had this for about three months and am about a fifth down my 30ml bottle. I'd really recommend buying this smaller version, as perfume does have a shelf life of about 1-2 years. I'm not really one to pay attention to those rules (perfume is EXPENSIVE after all!) but with everyday use you should be using up Happy at about that rate. Speaking of the bottle, I always love to have perfume in a pretty bottle but unfortunately Happy is pretty boring in this respect. A thin oval-shaped bottle with a tall silver lid of the same shape. Small print on the top stating the brand in white and the name in orange. Not exactly a statement but simple and classy. Don't worry, be happy

Advantages: Not overpowering, everyday fragrance
Disadvantages: Doesn't last into the night...

...Wedding Flower and smells delicious. It reminds me of summer, it's light and floral but not too girlie. It doesnt get up your nose - most perfume makes me sneeze- and is great for everyday wear. My only criticism is that it doesn't last all that long.. or maybe I don't use enough... but I do find that it needs to be reapplied at regular intervals to keep that gorgeous smell. **HOW MUCH??** It comes in two sizes, 50ml and 100ml. The 50ml costs £29.50 and the 100ml is £42.50. Personally I think this is pretty good value for a decent perfume, I have the 50ml and its lasted for ages (not just because I left it in the drawer!) and I will be buying it again. They also do a male version of the perfume, a 'Body Smoother', a Body Wash and a Body Cream in the Happy range. **THE VERDICT** Brilliant everyday fragrance, not overpowering...

Forget your troubles, come on get happy

Advantages: It makes you feel happy when you spray it on

......(this is my first perfume op, so I hope I am able to express the experience clearly for everyone). WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE? Well, since you ask, I have the 50ml size and it comes in a tall slimline glass bottle with a silver cap. Clinique happy is printed across the top, near the cap, clinique in white and happy in Orange. It fits very comfortably into your hand, and though very simple is very classy in its own way. WHAT KIND OF SPRAYING ACTION? Boy is "spraying" the correct word...there is no way to gently ease this perfume out onto your wrists, neck etc. I aim at my wrist and press down and I can feel the perfume as far up as the inside of my elbow! Clinique Happy perfume

Advantages: light and fresh
Disadvantages: no real staying power

...As a free sample at Bonus time, this is a welcome, though not overused addition to my fragrance collection. Sweet and light, the fragrance isn't overwhelming, but doesn't last all day...though the Clinique lady at my local counter did recommend 'layering' the various bath and body products in the range for a longer lasting effect. For me this is definitely a 'wear to work' product. Neither sexy nor too appealing, but fresh -scented and acceptable, this is handy to carry in your handbag. I'm not yet sure if I'll be buying a replacement when my sample runs out......

I too acquitred it through the 'bonus-time' offer (after buying 'naturally glassy mascara and take the day away make up remover - reviews to come!. In these offers, clinique kindly provide you with samples of their best or newest products. Clinique happy is a fruity, light perfume perfect for fun summer days - the smell reminds me of the beach and summer holidays. The sample size bottle is perfect for taking on nights out, the bottle is small and looks good, unlike other sample perfumes you can actualy spray it, so you can keep smelling yummy all night. I think the smallest actual purchase size is about £30, and there are lots of fragranced products that can go woth it (bubble baths, moisturizers etc). Buy it, or do as i do, soemwhat...
