...Name of the product I will be reviewing: " Clinique Superbalanced Foundation" - Price - I paid £ 18.50 for 30ml of this product I personally think this is a very reasonable price for such a good quality product, I usually pay up to £29 for any make-up product and this is well under my budget which is surprising seen as this product delivers great results and I would defiantly say it's one of the best foundations I've used and one of the cheapest. The reason I bought the superbalanced foundation was because I have combination skin, and this product is targeted at people who have my skin type as it is an oil free skin product but it also moisturizes in places that are dry. - Shades available - There are eighteen shades available of the Clinique Super balanced foundation, the fact the product has a large selection of shades...

Clinique superfit makeup

Advantages: natural finish, long lasting, great for asian skin

...In the past whenever I have approached one of the ladies behind a makeup counter for help on finding a foundation to suit my skin, I have always walked away not pleased. These ladies have come across as being very helpful & they do try their best but they have always tried colours on my skin that were a few shades too dark unfortunately. This might have been down to the fact that I have an uneven skin tone & in order for them to try to even out my skin colour, they always happened to pick out the darkest colour on my face and go with that particular shade. On the odd occasion when I have been shown a shade that I didn't particularly mind, I felt like my face had far too many layers on it, the foundation was too thick for my liking, I looked overdone, and it neither felt nor looked natural. Almost Foundation ... Certainly Make Up

Advantages: Blends well, isn't heavy, protects against sun related skin damage
Disadvantages: Can get water-y (separates), expensive, middling coverage

...to be had, and sure enough, freebies I got...but that's a story for another day). The consultant recommended Clinique Almost Make Up. It would be fair to say that this stuff falls somewhat between a tinted moisturiser and a full blown foundation. It comes in a green tube (thus resembling a moisturiser), but it has a full range of colours and shades (Although I'm pretty fair, I'm using 03 - Medium, as I bought it when I had a bit of a tan). The consistency is thinner than a foundation (in fact, it sometimes comes out quite watery - I have to remind myself to shake the tube well). The tube tells me it's fragrance free and allergy tested. I've never experienced any irritation when using this, but my skin isn't especially prone to it (though when I used Mac foundation, I did notice a slight burning sensation). Clinique gentle light irritating makeup

...This is my second Clinique foundation, and I think a symptom of my getting older. I used to use their Almost makeup, which is extremely light, but has the advantage of being SPF15. However, as I am getting older and more tired, it is making less and less difference. So I decided to upgrade. I decided to put my faith in the Clinique counter lady and went into boots. I told her what I had previously used and that it wasn't quite doing enough anymore. The woman said that this one was next up on the coverage list, so she tried out some colours and gave me a little bottle. As usual with Clinique products, it was a costly little bottle at £18.50 for 45ml; but I've used enough of them over the years to know that they're good quality, last for a long time and suit my skin. Clinique Superbalanced compact make-up

Advantages: Gives a natural look

...I bought this Clinique Superbalanced compact make-up for about £17 for 10g from Boots about a year ago. I It's a must have for combination skin; it knows exactly where to hydrate and control oil. It's an oil free product with 13 different shades, I recommend golden for medium to dark skin (I have pale skin but when I get a spray tan I use this colour) The good thing about this foundaiton is you can buy refills so you dont have to keep buying the whole compact again and again refills cost £14 for 10g saving around £3 if you buy another compact. The coverage is moderate; I don't like full coverage foundations as they look really unnatural, where as this compact makes your skin look very natural but flawless at the same time. How to apply the product Use the sponge given to you in the compact or any other sponges and smooth it...

...on the skin. I use a trusty make up sponge to make sure its blended properly. I love the full coverage it gives, perfect when I am called out to the hospital in the middle of the night. I just stick a layer of this on and you can't tell I have had no sleep! I buy alot of my make up from Debenhams, which you have proabaly noticed from my other reviews. This product costs me around £17.50 which i think is great compared to other such as estee lauder which can cost up to £21 for the same size foundation. Overall this foundation gives good blendable coverage which stays on and lasts....

...tube with silver coloured lid. This means it is very easy to apply either using the fingers or a sponge, as you just squeeze it out. Its priced at £17 for a 45ml tube. The product is very light weight which makes it incredibly easy to blend in. It easily covers fine lines, and any minor imperfections. This gives a very natural finish, and it is not noticable that you are wearing any kind of base at all. USAGE: Clinique recommed using it after their trademark 3 step skin care system. However you could use it after any cleansing/toning/moisturising routine. MY EXPERIENCES: The helpful girl at my local clinique counter made purchasing this product no problem at all. A high quality brush for those rosy cheeks.

...I got my Clinique Blush Brush in a gift I got from Clinique when I boughtt 2 or more products. Clinique will often do these gifts so I tend to wait until they are doing this offer somewhere, whether it be Debenhams or Boots, until I stock up so I can get some nice free things to try out. This brush is designed for the application of blusher on your cheeks and cheekbones. It is tapered slightly to make it more softer and easier to apply your blusher. The brush feels nice and soft and the handle feels sturdy and of good quality. The handle has a transparent plastic with silver Clinique lettering near the bottom of the brush. The brush as a whole is just under 6 inches long and not overally bulky or hard to grip in your hands. The brush part itself is 3cm long and approx 2.5cm wide, this makes it perfect for people with smaller faces...

Superbalanced make up

Advantages: Does not interfere with natural moisture balance, good coverage, glowing skin
Disadvantages: Hard to match colour, may require setting with powder

.... Whilst wearing this I have been told that my complexion looks even and clear which I don't think I have ever been told before! When it comes time to remove the foundation, it comes off easily with most types of cleaners and/or make up removers. I have had no kind of reaction which this product- I have sensitive skin and it seems fine to me which no problems. Although it does seem expensive this bottle has lasted me a long time and I am very happy with it. As I mentioned before, it is quite hard to match the colour (or for me it was anyway!) so I would recommend trying it in store and then wearing it home and checking in a range of different lights....
