...Name of the product I will be reviewing: " Clinique Superbalanced Foundation" - Price - I paid £ 18.50 for 30ml of this product I personally think this is a very reasonable price for such a good quality product, I usually pay up to £29 for any make-up product and this is well under my budget which is surprising seen as this product delivers great results and I would defiantly say it's one of the best foundations I've used and one of the cheapest. The reason I bought the superbalanced foundation was because I have combination skin, and this product is targeted at people who have my skin type as it is an oil free skin product but it also moisturizes in places that are dry. - Shades available - There are eighteen shades available of the Clinique Super balanced foundation, the fact the product has a large selection of shades...

Excellent make up remover

Advantages: Quick and thorough clean
Disadvantages: little bit greasly perhaps

...I got this make up remover recently as a smaller sized sample with some Clinique purchases I made in the States recently. Not one to generally use make up removers I tried this particular product out seeing as I had it for free. I am now a huge fan of this make up remover - you only need to apply a few drops to cotton wool and all of my eyeliner/mascara comes straight off the eye. The great thing is that you do not need to use a lot of the product, and it doesn't smear the product you're removing all over your face. It is slightly oily so you would probably want to wash your skin after using this product. After using this product I decided to purchase an eye make up remover from Crabtree and Evelyn as it was on offer, but I can honestly say that it is not even a patch on the Clinique one. I will definately be purchasing this again...

...In the past whenever I have approached one of the ladies behind a makeup counter for help on finding a foundation to suit my skin, I have always walked away not pleased. These ladies have come across as being very helpful & they do try their best but they have always tried colours on my skin that were a few shades too dark unfortunately. This might have been down to the fact that I have an uneven skin tone & in order for them to try to even out my skin colour, they always happened to pick out the darkest colour on my face and go with that particular shade. On the odd occasion when I have been shown a shade that I didn't particularly mind, I felt like my face had far too many layers on it, the foundation was too thick for my liking, I looked overdone, and it neither felt nor looked natural. Clarins Instant Eye Make-Up Remover

I wanted something quick and easy that would effectively remove my eye make up but that was also quite gentle, since some eye make removers make your eyes sting! I have used Clarins products in the past and have found them to be effective, so I thought that I would give this 'Instant Eye Make-Up Remover' a try. The bottle is a simple and attractive design. It is an oval shaped, plastic bottle with a screw top lid. The lid is white with a silver coloured rim, which adds a nice bit of bling! The plastic is a frosted colour, and you can easily see though to the liquid inside. The make up remover has two layers in it, it looks really cool in the bottle! There is a blue layer on the bottom and a clear layer on top, and you have to shake the bottle before you use it so that these two layers mix...

I wear soft contact lenses everyday and after using a few make up removers that left my eyes feeling irradiated and sore I decided on buying an extra gentle make-up remover and perusing the shelves in Boots I came across this one made by Nivea Visage. It was a reasonable price at £3.39 pence for a good 125ml sized bottle. The design of the bottle is fairly average and just buy looking you can tell it is not an expensive product. It is quite a chunky design which means it stands up well on my dressing table and the lid which is a flip top pops open easily and clicks to seal very well. It cost £7.00 for the 100ml bottle which does sound expensive but it is quite a big bottle and only a bit is required each day. Garnier eye make up remover

...In regards to eye make up removal, I often find that facewipes can be really harsh on the eye area and so have been using some different eye make up removers which i can use with a cotton ball. I tried this Garnier one recently and have to say I really enjoyed using it. Firstly, I didn't find it at all oily or greasy on the eye, it has the consistency of water and was great at removing stubborn mascara and eyeliner. I simply applied a generous amount to the cotton wool ball and gently removed all makeup. The product was also quite refreshing for the eyes and felt really nice and cooling. The container states that the product contains flower extracts which is possible the reason the product was so refeshing; it is also stated that the product is suitable for sensitive eyes which I would definately agree with. ...This is my second Clinique foundation, and I think a symptom of my getting older. I used to use their Almost makeup, which is extremely light, but has the advantage of being SPF15. However, as I am getting older and more tired, it is making less and less difference. So I decided to upgrade. I decided to put my faith in the Clinique counter lady and went into boots. I told her what I had previously used and that it wasn't quite doing enough anymore. The woman said that this one was next up on the coverage list, so she tried out some colours and gave me a little bottle. As usual with Clinique products, it was a costly little bottle at £18.50 for 45ml; but I've used enough of them over the years to know that they're good quality, last for a long time and suit my skin.
