...This is the best liquid foundation I have tried and believe me I have tried a fair few! The best part is it's more affordable than alot of other high end foundations that don't perform as well. The 17 shades offer a range from ultra fair to olive, i am more of an olive tone so this was great for me. I don't know if there are any darker shades than that, so darker skins may want to choose another foundation. This product is supposed to last all day, however I found that it does fade a little if left on longer than 12 hours. Although many people probably don't need it to last much longer than this! The foundation is great as it doesn't smudge. Clinique sell this product as "transfer resistant" and I can confirm that this is definetly true of this foundation. Almost Foundation ... Certainly Make Up

Advantages: Blends well, isn't heavy, protects against sun related skin damage
Disadvantages: Can get water-y (separates), expensive, middling coverage

...make my skin feel moisturised, and not as claggy as it can do with a typical foundation. Another advantage is that it doesn't create as much shine as some foundations can, and blends better. I therefore don't need as much powder over the top. On the down sides, over time the consistency, as I mentioned, has become quite runny, and so I do need to shake the tube well before using. As I age, I do realise that sometimes I need a bit more coverage than an 'almost makeup' can provide. I sometimes find myself piling more and more of it on in order to hide various imperfections. Clinique soft finish foundation!

Advantages: Long lasting coverage, Moisture giving, everything you'd want in a foundation!

...I have been using Clinique gentle light makeup now since September. I have tried various different foundations and none of them have really suited my skin. After endless searching I decided to enlist the help of boots makeup artist and found myself drawn to the Clinique section. The makeup artist tried different tones on my skin to find one which suited me nicely. The end product was I came away with 09 cream light foundation by Clinique. This foundation suits various skin types from dry/delicate to oily, although on the packaging it states not for the oiliest skins. The skin types are graded with roman numerals, these range from I to IV, ranging from dry skin to very oily. ...This is my second Clinique foundation, and I think a symptom of my getting older. I used to use their Almost makeup, which is extremely light, but has the advantage of being SPF15. However, as I am getting older and more tired, it is making less and less difference. So I decided to upgrade. I decided to put my faith in the Clinique counter lady and went into boots. I told her what I had previously used and that it wasn't quite doing enough anymore. The woman said that this one was next up on the coverage list, so she tried out some colours and gave me a little bottle. As usual with Clinique products, it was a costly little bottle at £18.50 for 45ml; but I've used enough of them over the years to know that they're good quality, last for a long time and suit my skin. Clinique Superbalanced compact make-up

Advantages: Gives a natural look

...I bought this Clinique Superbalanced compact make-up for about £17 for 10g from Boots about a year ago. I It's a must have for combination skin; it knows exactly where to hydrate and control oil. It's an oil free product with 13 different shades, I recommend golden for medium to dark skin (I have pale skin but when I get a spray tan I use this colour) The good thing about this foundaiton is you can buy refills so you dont have to keep buying the whole compact again and again refills cost £14 for 10g saving around £3 if you buy another compact. The coverage is moderate; I don't like full coverage foundations as they look really unnatural, where as this compact makes your skin look very natural but flawless at the same time.
