...Name of the product I will be reviewing: " Clinique Superbalanced Foundation" - Price - I paid £ 18.50 for 30ml of this product I personally think this is a very reasonable price for such a good quality product, I usually pay up to £29 for any make-up product and this is well under my budget which is surprising seen as this product delivers great results and I would defiantly say it's one of the best foundations I've used and one of the cheapest. The reason I bought the superbalanced foundation was because I have combination skin, and this product is targeted at people who have my skin type as it is an oil free skin product but it also moisturizes in places that are dry. - Shades available - There are eighteen shades available of the Clinique Super balanced foundation, the fact the product has a large selection of shades...

Superbalanced make up

Advantages: Does not interfere with natural moisture balance, good coverage, glowing skin
Disadvantages: Hard to match colour, may require setting with powder

...suggests to me that the bottle is likely to withstand a lot of wear and tear. Is has a simple silver screw top lid which looks nice. The product is called superbalanced foundation as it is recommended for many different skin types and is particularly good for combination skin. I have mainly dry skin, which some oily patches. I have often found that some foundations can make me feel oily around the nose and T-zone area, whilst being dry and flaky in others. I have to say that this foundation was the answer to my problems! It glides on well and provides a good level of coverage. The dry areas of my skin felt moisturised, whilst the oily parts felt fine too. My only minor criticism is that it can come off onto clothes a little too easily for my liking, but this is easily solved by adding some pressed power to 'set' the foundation...

Clinique Superbalanced compact make-up

Advantages: Gives a natural look
Disadvantages: You dont get a lot of make-up

...I bought this Clinique Superbalanced compact make-up for about £17 for 10g from Boots about a year ago. I It's a must have for combination skin; it knows exactly where to hydrate and control oil. It's an oil free product with 13 different shades, I recommend golden for medium to dark skin (I have pale skin but when I get a spray tan I use this colour) The good thing about this foundaiton is you can buy refills so you dont have to keep buying the whole compact again and again refills cost £14 for 10g saving around £3 if you buy another compact. The coverage is moderate; I don't like full coverage foundations as they look really unnatural, where as this compact makes your skin look very natural but flawless at the same time. How to apply the product Use the sponge given to you in the compact or any other sponges and smooth it...

Review of Clinique Superbalanced Compact Makeup SPF20 No. 19 Golden

Superbalanced for combination skins.

Advantages: Matches my skin tone well and blends perfectly.
Disadvantages: Is rather pricey.

...I've tried out alot of different types of foundations because I have terrible skin. I am blemish prone and it goes through it's spells of being too oily or too dry. I can also never find a nice shade for my skin, I am rather pale, and I've found that sometimes the lightest shade in a make up range is basically white, and the next shade down is too dark! I wanted to try out the superbalanced make up for a while. I was buying some of the Clarifying Powder (which I also recommend) and they were doing a bonus time, so I had to buy something else for the gift. I asked the sales advisor about this type of make up and she found a good shade for me, Alabastor and it blends in very nicely. This foundation is lovely and silky and is good at covering up any marks. I apply it using a sponge but it blends in just as nicely using your fingers...

...I've been using Clinique superbalanced in Alabaster for about a year and have found it to be a pretty good foundation. It covers up imperfections and provides medium coverage. It is quite expensive, but I find I'm really paying for a foundation which is pale and doesnt leave me looking ill. Its not too yellow based and with a bit of bronzer or blusher, I can almost pass as someone who has a pulse!! Clinique was set up in 1968 as an off shoot of the Estee Lauder brand. Its more focussed on "individual skin care needs" instead of a one type suits all approach. Generally, Clinique is more suited to younger skin and Estee to the more mature market, although recently there has been a lot of blurring of these boundaries and I find stuff in Estee Lauder that I'd have originally looked for in Clinique. Clinique Superbalanced in Alabaster

...I've been using this foundation for about 4 months now for daytime use. I don't like to wear anything too heavy for daytimes and this foundation works great for me. The lady at the Clinique Counter helped me choose the colour and the type of foundation suitable for me. I told her I was looking for something with a medium natural coverage that is suitable for dry/combination skin and Superbalanced is what she suggested. It is oil free and fragrance free and I must say that it does seem to control my slightly oily t - zone area. It pours out nicely without being too runny and I apply with a cosmetic sponge. It blends really nicely and glides easily over face into neck area. I work as a housekeeper in quite a hot house and it does stay on pretty well for a good few hours. If you've read any of my previous reviews you'll see that my skin is a complete combination so I have to be really careful what I buy because otherwise it's a waste of money! I always thought that clinque was a very expensive brand that I wouldn't buy because I never use to wear make-up that often, however, as I wear it more now I felt that spending a little extra would be worth it. I brought it from a local big retailer for £18.50, however, you can get it cheaper on websites so this is not a problem. It is easy to apply either with hands or brush or pads and smoothes in well to blend in with the colouring and textures of your skin. Advantages: Very light so blends into face.

Superbalanced Foundation

Advantages: Great coverage- but not too heavy
Disadvantages: Glass bottle so cant get all foundation out

...It took me ages to find the right foundation, but i finally found it. The clinuque superbalanced foundation gives great coverage but without being too heavy and blocking all of the pores. I found choosing the colour really hard, but if you go to a shop that has clinuque consultants, like boots they will halpyou pick out the right colour and show hyou other makeup that goes well with the foundation like there concealer stick. Overal the foundation last most of the day, but you made to top it up once if you like strong coverage all day. The superbalanced foundation helps combination skin, because it adds moisture to dry skin and takes out excess moisture on oily skin. I have found this foundation great so far and i will be buying it again....

Clinique superfit makeup

...In the past whenever I have approached one of the ladies behind a makeup counter for help on finding a foundation to suit my skin, I have always walked away not pleased. These ladies have come across as being very helpful & they do try their best but they have always tried colours on my skin that were a few shades too dark unfortunately. This might have been down to the fact that I have an uneven skin tone & in order for them to try to even out my skin colour, they always happened to pick out the darkest colour on my face and go with that particular shade.
