Club Paraiso Hotel Review

Advantages: 3 Pools, 2 bars, close to nightlife, good entertainment
Disadvantages: not great if your looking for a quiet holiday

...I stayed in the Club paraiso based in San Antonio in July 2004 and July 2005, and I've had the best holiday of my life. We booked the holiday as a late deal so we got a week for £200. RECEPTION On entrance the reception is very clean and spacious and the staff are friendly and helpful, the security are very strict sometimes too much so, they once wouldn't let us sign a friend in becasue he didn't have his passport with him. You need to show your swipe card on each entry. THE ROOMS The rooms are studio rooms, spacious for 2, but get a little crowded at 3, there are cooking facilities including, two cooking rings, a toaster, kettle, all cuttlery and a little oven. The shower does its job and there are always clean sheets and towels, the balconys are a good size, the first time I stayed the view was much to be desired but...

...Seaview Country Club Location: Seaview country Club is located 30 minutes from Ibiza Airport and about 3 miles from the lights of San Antonio. Puerto De Torrent is a small area of which the main drag is about ¾ of a mile long with plenty of bars and shops on both sides of the main road which takes you to San Antonio. Ibiza is seeing an overall of the main roads at the moment and there are lots of diversions to and from San Antonio and Ibiza Town so take care driving or use the public bus service which is very good and cheap to use. Hotel Seaview Country Club: First impression is always a good sign and on entering the main reception you are greeted with a lovely marble reception area which is very clean and air conditioned. 42 Of The Biggest Ibiza Club Anthems

Advantages: 42 tracks!!
Disadvantages: Some of them are old (but still excellent)

I was looking through my shelves the other day and was shocked to find that I didn't own a single club/ibiza compilation album. Perhaps I've borrowed some from friends in the past, but I couldn't find one club album in my entire collection. Wanting to change this, I asked a few friends what they recommended, and they came up with this album - Clubmix Ibiza. The album is perfect for someone in my situation as it includes a wide range of dance tracks, including many newer ones from this summer such as 'Another Chance' by Roger Sanchez, as well as some older, very successful tracks such as 'Groovejet' by Spiller. Therefore, this album is the perfect compilation for someone who owns little or no dance albums, and wants a collection of the best tracks...

Disadvantages: The end of the holiday

...Ibiza 2006 with club 18-30, i really didn't know what to expect as i was 18 and it was my first holiday with them. I'd heared rumours ibiza with club 18-30 was going to be mental and wasn't for the weak hearted. This however was not true, they are a great bunch of people. The whole concept of club 18-30 is to meet people of the same age group and get totally out of your face in different bars, in different ways and just have the time of your life...which i did!! The reps are so chilled out and funny its unreal they are so approachable, as if you've known them years. The hotels aren't the best but they are just what you need as you don't really spend much time in them anyway. The reps offer discount prices on club tickets and do other activities such as booze cruises. The booze cruise was most possibly the best day of my life - 2 boats...

Sirenis Club Playa

Advantages: Reasonable price, Within close reach of other islands, duty free shops are great.
Disadvantages: None

...We travelled to Cala Longa in Ibiza in September 2006 and stayed in the Club Playa hotel which is an all inclusive hotel on the beach front. This is very handy if you want to keep nipping back for snacks or drinks seen as they are already paid for. It takes between 45 mins and an hour and a half to transfer from the airport to the hotel depending on time of travel but we must have hit a bad day as it took us well over two hrs to get there that was the worst bit. The hotel is approximately a 100m walk to the smooth sandy beach. I thought the hotel to be fantastic. The natives are polite and nothing is too much trouble for them.They readily greet you on entering the shops. In the bars we were asked if we wanted to sit down and they would come for our drinks order and fetch it for us but I chose to fetch it myself. The least I could...

Ibiza Hippie by Escada perfume!

Advantages: beautiful light smell!
Disadvantages: Hard to find, and a little expensive!

...Escada Ibiza Hippie I got this perfume in a Collector?s Edition pack of 5 Escada Perfumes; Island kiss, Rockin? Rio, Pacific Paradise, Sunset Heat and Ibiza Hippie. I first heard of Escada when I bought Pacific Paradise on the Ferry on the way to Italy, from then on the smell always reminded me of that holiday, and became one of my favourite perfumes. So when I saw this pack for £12.50 for 5 small bottles (4ml each), I just had to buy them to try them all, so I could choose my favourite one! And I must say they were all delicious! With such strong fruity smells which stuck around all day, my only problem was there wasn?t enough of it in the bottles, and I tended to use half a bottle each time I used it! But it gave me a great experience of using them all so I could choose which ones I wanted in larger bottles rather than...

A Fantastic Stay for All!!

...Firstly it is important to note that this hotel is no longer run by the Fiesta group, as suggested in the title. It was taken over little over a year ago, however is still in the transformation stage. Having recently stayed in this hotel myself I was very impressed by both the quality and value for money here. The hotel was previously a Fiesta hotel, however has recently been taken over. While there is still evidence of the Fiesta presence - towels, plates etc, there are plans in place for a complete refurbishment this winter. We were lucky enough to stay in one of the rooms which had already had the refurbishment. If this was REALLY Ibiza, noone would go......

Advantages: A couple of tunes there to make you twitch your head

I f I'd of walked into a nightclub and heard that trash playing I would have walked straight out and went elsewhere......... What the album looks like? Well it is Orange and Yellow on the cover. Mostly orange though. Has the writing - Club Mix Ibiza 2000 - 40 of the biggest Ibiza Club tracks (SUCH RUBBISH) in white writing along the front. There is a picture of a palm tree beside a beach with a set of decks. Think the cover suits the album though. Mixing on this album is ok - nothing to jump up and shout about. Back to the recommendation - nah still wouldnt recommend it. Not for the fact it is way out of date now anyway, just for the fact...

Education, Ibiza style.

Advantages: It's an Education
Disadvantages: I still dont live there

...money AND not losing sleep, I can cope quite comfortably with the extra reading time. In Ibiza, on a Sunday afternoon, there is only one place to go. That place is Space. (The club, not the outer atmosphere) Space is a club that is open during the daytime, because partying at night is just, like, *So* passé darling. Whilst we used contacts from previous visits to secure ourselves a place on the guest-list, others have to pay the princely sum of ?30 to enter, and then the drinks will set you back a small fortune - I paid ?12 for a Vodka and redbull, and even when I went all tight-fisted and switched to water, I was still robbed blind by ?8 for a 300ml plastic bottle, the same bottle that costs 35cents in the shops opposite the club. It's little wonder Space bosses can afford to pay their resident DJ's anything up to ?10,000 for a 4 hour...

Review of Ibiza Town

There is an Ibiza for all tastes

Advantages: Ibiza town and the coves
Disadvantages: San Antonio and the macro clubs

...I lived in Spain for nearly 18 years (in Valencia) and frequently visited Ibiza and feel in a priviledged position to share my views . There are many types of ibiza. There is the club crazy Ibiza for the young and flush. There is the unbearable San Antonio with its Fish and Chips, cheap drinks and the worst sort of tourist, there is the classy Ibiza town with its yachts in the port, its UNESCO protected old town with its restaurants and bars but always classy. There is the Ibiza of coves with wonderous little restaurants and bars on the beach and there is the inland hippy Ibiza with some truly outstanding little boutique hotels and where the likes of Roman Polanski have their holiday homes. Ibiza is expensive so prepare your purse , wallet or whatever it may be. If you get tired of the partying etc take a half-hour boat trip to...
