Advantages: Quiet and relaxing
Disadvantages: Dingy room and pool area dominated by timeshare owners

...My boyfriend and I visited this hotel last summer, having gotten a bargain price through Travel Republic. I think we paid around £150 for the room for the week, which was a good price for a four star hotel in Costa Adeje, one of Tenerife's more family and couple based upmarket resorts. When we arrived it all looked fairly posistive - the reception area was clean and spacious if a little dated and the welcome we received was nice if a little brusque. This became clearly the way staff talked to guests - they bordered on rude at times in spite of our efforts to speak Spanish to them because of their limited English. There was a small shop selling standards such as bottles of water and chocolate so we got some snacks (overpriced but what you expect in a hotel) after our journey and headed off to our room. Midnight Club LA

Advantages: Some realistic cars, a fun but not too serious game :)
Disadvantages: Expensive, repetitive, too realistic for those used to NFS on ps2!

...I bought Midnight Club LA spur of the moment because I was disappointed with Forza 2 as its so realistic and wanted a crazy racing game like the old days of NFS underground on ps2. It took some getting used to, but its half way there. Again the game aims for realism losing the element of fun. You can't bounce off walls to get around corners on racing games these days! It took me a long time to get a feel for the controls however once I managed the game became a lot more enjoyable. Using the triggers on the back of the controller instead of buttons (X and O for ps2 owners) make controlling vehicles a lot easier as you can control your speed, but when racing I found this irritating as just holding the accelerated gets you in a mess. CLUBBING HEAVEN - NOT

The Riu Canela hotel has 347 rooms all en suite and most with a balcony or terrace. As the hotel has been open for about twenty years some of the rooms have a rather 'tired' air about them and probably would benefit from refurbishment. ...COSTA DEL SOL Benalmadea Costa, I'm afraid I was always a bit of a 'travel snob' regarding the Costa del Sol. I envisaged the types of scene in TV's Benadorm, a type of Blackpool with sun. As members of a vacation club ( it was then Sunterra now Diamon Resorts) we had the opportunity for a weeks break for relatively few points at the Sahara Sunset in Benalmadea Costa, as we could get Easy Jet airfairs to Malaga for a very low price we decided to try it. We have been three times more since then - so needless to say I was not disappointed. Benalmadena is only 15 kilometers from Malaga Airport, car hire is easily obtainable but it is only 25 euros for a taxi from the airport and there are plenty of excursions and good public transport available in the resort. Midnight Club LA - Xbox 360

Advantages: Great gameplay, good choice of cars and accessories, good map and good graphics
Disadvantages: The handling of the cars is not realistic

...Midnight Club LA is street racing game which involves buying, modyfying and racing cars and bikes. The game has a great story line and can kepp you entertained for hours. The map on the game is massive, it includes famouse places in and around LA making the game feel realistic and more fun to play. There is a nice choice of cars inclisding an Adui, a couple of Lamborgini's, Mercedes, a Nissan Skyline and a Mitsubshi Evo. Like other games in this genre, the first car you buy is an old banger which you can modify internaly and externaly, including the engine. What i really like about this is the choice of things you can do to your car in order to make it exactly how you want it. It is so specfic it even gives you the option of changing the steering wheel and the speed dials. You dont see this on many games these days so i think this is...

We were going to stop for something to eat on the way but in the end decided to make our way straight to Tours and get settled in the hotel and then find something close by. A couple of minutes from our hotel we came across this place and were really glad that we did. LOCATION: La Chope is located at 25 Avenue Grammont. Our hotel was on the same road so we just came across it. It is about a ten minute walk from Tours? old town. The restaurant doesn?t stand out and the sign is not particularly bright so make sure you look out for it. ...When I was offered a week of Spain I jumped at the chance! Club La Costa was offering a week at California Beach, near Finguerola for only 29 pounds plus airfare to Malaga. We knew that it was early in the season but figured we would take the chance and beat the crowds. Club La Costa is a large development about 30 mins from Malaga airport. You can take a Tiny Train between the Two main parts of the resort: Marina del Sol and California Beach (or as we learned, smile sweetly at any of the porters and they will drive you there!). In this part of Spain it is low season until June 1. So the restaurants and bars at the resort closed promptly at midnight - not at all like the Spain I had heard of where you eat late. ...My summer holiday of 2008 was spent in Fuerteventura and my hotel of choice was the Hotel Costa Caleta. The hotel is also known by its former name Hotel Ocean Costa Caleta. Address is Av. Alcalde Juan Ramón Soto Morales Caleta de Fuste Fuerteventura Spain Tel:+34-928547550 I'm not sure if the hotel offers any car parking facilities as I hadn't needed any. It's a 3 star rated hotel and is quite modern and situated quite centrally in the resort of Costa Caleta (or Caleta de Fuste, or Castillo as it is also known) Only a short 10-15 mins transfer time from the airport. It has over 300 rooms. It was built in 2005 so is still quite new. The hotel is only about 5-10 mins walk (5km) from the beach and the shops and parks are all nearby too. Cracking Costa Coffee!

...Costa Coffee have branches all over the UK. They serve a range of coffees teas and other drinks. Cafes are set out in a comfortable, modern style and the general feel is relaxed and casual. It is quite calming to be in a costa coffee shop and the smell is delicious. I really like the artwork they have on the walls - italian scenes - very funky and modern. They also have a range of plants making it feel quite homey. The tables, floor and toilets have always been clean and well stocked when ive been in - even at busy times. The staff have also been very friendly and efficient. Besides drinks they also serve cakes and snacks. These are also nice but sadly not homemade. Prices are in line with most other coffee shops but i still think they are a little expensive. Quality is probably slightly better than your average run...
