...We travelled to Cala Longa in Ibiza in September 2006 and stayed in the Club Playa hotel which is an all inclusive hotel on the beach front. This is very handy if you want to keep nipping back for snacks or drinks seen as they are already paid for. It takes between 45 mins and an hour and a half to transfer from the airport to the hotel depending on time of travel but we must have hit a bad day as it took us well over two hrs to get there that was the worst bit. The hotel is approximately a 100m walk to the smooth sandy beach. I thought the hotel to be fantastic. The natives are polite and nothing is too much trouble for them.They readily greet you on entering the shops. In the bars we were asked if we wanted to sit down and they would come for our drinks order and fetch it for us but I chose to fetch it myself. The least I could...

...For me it's very easy... the major pleasure of the world in vacations mainly is to do nothing... and this is what I did my last holidays... I went Lanzarote on summer holidays and here is where I stayed for a week. It is a complex of bungalows, really "mini-small houses" which are in the south of Lanzarote. In Playa Blanca (White Beach) to be exact. Lanzarote is one of the island of Canary Islands which are part of Spain althought thay are near Africa. Most beaches there have black sand so this is an special place for many reasons but the colour of its sand is one of them. The site is enough good. It has two keys (I believe that in these things the best hotels have three) It has a surface of 25000 m2. ...they weren't run the way I'd want them to be run but that's a professional thing with me), the golf, tennis courts and play park. It's a short walk to the rock pools as well as about 40 minutes to an hour into playa Blanca. The most we every paid for a taxi was 4?. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and believe a holiday is what you make it and it was a really good holiday which all 6 of us enjoyed....

Advantages: Friendly staff, good entertainment, lovely complex.

...the pool and it is a very family involved resort - lots of kiddies for your wee one to meet! We were told about the park at the very back which runs a kids club (though we never used it we did have a peek). The park itself was great. Beside the park was mini golf and a huge size set of chess! PICTURE MOMENT! :) There is a lot of sitting areas and is a quieter part of the complex. The only downfall was the smell of the sewage system they keep down there - very smelly. Felt sorry for anyone who had an apartment down this far!! Lunch called and there was a bit more on offer from the previous dinner the night before, so we brightened up a bit! Chips, pasta, salad bar, and a few types of fish. ...'t have a dress code and the legal age is 18. Pretty similar to that of the UK clubs however they only had bouncers hanging around after about 2pm so they didn't seem to be that strict. But I did see them get rid of a bit of riff-raff every now and again. It is one of the latest opening clubs usually staying open until 6am and as most of the other bars shut around 4am Tramps becomes the place to be at about 3am if you can stay awake that long! I think that this resort really has been designed for families but I feel that even if you are not a family you will still love it. At Sa caleta playa there are kids clubs for a range of ages. As soon as we arrived at the resort my brother was asked if he wanted to see what the kids club is like. He went along and liked it but I think he was a bit old for it really and there are activities during the day which are not planned by the kids club. However if you have small children they do a kind of crèche when the English staff can look after your child. This service is free. The staff are lovely. The resort has a range of things the kids can do during the day if they want and everything they offer is free...
