Aprilia RS125 .
Advantages: Probably the fastest standard 125 available.
Disadvantages: Cost of the bikes.
...Well where do i start with this fantastic peace of Italian engineering. When i was 16 i used to own a scooter (50cc) which was pants by the way! so when i turned 17 i decided i wanted a 125 until i passed my driving test to drive a car. So i had a look about at a few bikes on the net and i was either going to buy a one of these chinese imports, brand new for around £1000 or buy a second hand well known make bike for about the same price. Then i seen these aprilia rs125 bikes and had herd by a lot of people that they were the fastest 125's you can get so i looked into it a bit more then decided i wanted one, not long after searching for one in my price range i found one on EBay for 2000 model for £450 i think it was but it had a few days left but i wanted to go and view the bike so my dad took me to view it with the cash just in case...

Yamaha Grizzly 125
Advantages: easy to operate, good second hand value
Disadvantages: key in wrong position
...Yamaha Grizzly 125 ATV.
Firstly a bit of history to show how opinions are formed. We operate a company in Scotland offering Quad Bike Treks for anybody over the age of sixteen, in other words the bikes are used a lot and by anybody from beginners to more experienced riders. Whatever bikes we use have to be mechanically reliable and be able to withstand some abuse. Up until the beginning of this year we used the Breeze model, mostly because its small and light, not too small but still light enough that one person can lift the bike ? pretty useful when you are on your own with a bogged down bike! Another reason for the choice being they are Semi-Automatic put it in forward gear push throttle and it goes, no gear changes to worry about.
Anyway back to the review if you are thinking about buying a quad, you can?t go far wrong...

Ybr 125
Advantages: Feul
Disadvantages: bendy handle bars and stand
...I have now had the ybr 125 for 2-3 yrs and it is by all means a great bike. Im 6ft 2 and it feels comfy not too small for me. As for the feul wow never have i known a bike thats run for so long on a full tank and downhill with the wind behind you you can reach 70mph although never have i done this as its not legal (mmmmm). Someone mentioned before it can take a wack as they went through a fence and it was fine, but let me tel yu this is not entirly true. I lost my back end on oil at about 15mph (as you do) and the handle bars bent real badly and cost quiete a bit to replace, my bike is actually on its 3rd set of handle bars to as it was kicked over by the youth of today and again the bars bent to the point of unstraightening and had to be replaced. Also i am now after 2 and a half yrs have alot of trouble with starting the bike on random...

Nice Sports Racer 125
Advantages: Cheap, easy to work on.
Disadvantages: None, it does exactly what it says on the tin.
...I’m writing this from memory so you will have to excuse some of the details I may miss.
I bought an NSR125 about 6 years ago second hand, it was the old styling where there were 2 colors available, white and red.
I rode it on a moped license with “L” plates which you could do at the time as long as it was restricted (I don’t know if you can do it now)?
Then after 6 months I passed my test, kept it another 6 months and sold it to buy a VFR400 NC24 which I still have.
The riding position was very nice and the fairing did a brilliant job of keeping the wind of and the rain.
I don’t remember how many miles it was between fill ups but I don’t remember getting on first name terms with the local petrol station so it couldn’t have been that bad.
It was irritating having to check the two...

CoolerMaster CM690 is the master!
Advantages: Cheap, well ventilated, screw-less design
Disadvantages: None for me.
...When upgrading my computer and installed the new parts in my old case, this proved to be a bit of a silly idea as the temperatures it was running at was too high.
Having largely spent out on the upgrade i wanted a fairly cheap case.
The CoolerMaster CM690 looked like it was to fit the bill perfectly, its was fairly cheap approx £55, it did NOT come with power supply, which for me wasn't a problem as I'd just bought a new CoolerMaster Real Power M620 620W PSU.
To start with this case looks very good and feels light when empty.
It also feels sturdy and well balanced on my desk and on carpet, although a carpet with too high a pile on it could interfere with the PSU exhaust and the mounting for another fan.
The front and top of the case is basically a big grille which obviously helps with letting the hot air escape.
Access is...

Ford Fiesta 1.25 Zetec
Advantages: Good acceleration, positive steering
Disadvantages: Poor display of instruments, notchy/awkward gear change
...I recently had reason to drive my mother-in-law's 1-year-old Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.25. It is the bog standard 5-door hatchback model and I had to get used to using window winders - my car has electric windows. She didn't want "anything fancy" she said.
I found the car very quick for a 1.25, but it wouldn't pull the skin of a rice-pudding on some hills we encountered. Brakes were very good and steering quite repsonsive. The noise-levels were quite good at low speed, but there was a lot of road and wind noise at higher speeds on motorways.
On the negative side, the gears were rather notchy and I had some difficulty engaging 4th and 3rd gear as I came down from 5th. I also missed the air-conditioning although I would have opted for the higher-spec Ghia model. Something that I was particularly uncomfortable with was the intrument...

Best 125cc Motorcycle
Advantages: Loads
Disadvantages: Less than all other 125cc Motorcycles
...I have a Honda CG125, 2005 year, owned from new
I could tell you how good the bike is, like nearly every review of the bike.
But I do not wish to bore you with another identical review saying exactly the same.
I was amazed to find no websites that support the Honda CG125, so I have created one.
http://hondacg125.awardspace.com/
If you like my website, please rate this review as high as possible, since it's the best way for people to find my website using the search engines (else website will be hard to find).
I could write a very large review of the bike, since I am an experienced rider, I past my test over 10 years ago and have had several bikes, I have also done over 10,000 miles on the bike, including many trips between 150 and 250 miles in a day.
I have also been reading everything I can about the Honda CG125...

fiesta mk5 1.25
Advantages: nippy and easy to drive
Disadvantages: not alot of leg room for rear passengers
...I bought this car just under a year ago second hand. Bought the car for 1100. The car is very nippy for a 1.25 engine, can keep up with the more powerful engines. The car is very nice looking inside and out. Plenty space in the boot. The space in the front is pretty good for a small car but the space in the back for the passenger isn't to good especially if you have a long legged person in the front.
The cars a very reliable, not had any problems with mine and if you do need part you can get the fairly cheap from scrap yard, also the mk4 is very similar so alot of stuff can be used of them. Its easy to manoevre and park. Tax and insurance is low for this car as well, so this is good for the 1st time drivers or someone how needs a car to get them to work and back and to do sum shopping.
Modifying is easy to do on this car, i have...

Bloody Awesome! The RS125.
Advantages: Bloody Awesome! Cheap TP only insuance.
Disadvantages: High Mantainance. 2-stroke.
...Got my RS125 back in June 2006 not too long ago. Opened the garage door and thought... WOW. its a big bigger than my speedfight lol. For the average 17 year old its a big bike; and a load of fun; its leaner legal for us starters! One thing that did dissapoint me a bit though would be the fact that it is still a 2-stoke engine; and not being a fan of extremely loud screaming noises it bummed me of a bit.
When i got it out onto the road it was amazin so fast goin from a 50cc; i could keep up with the traffic and everythin. One thing i gotta warn anyone goin from a scoot to a sports bike tho is do ur stretches b4 ridin lol. i pulled over in a few bus stop and sat there and screamed! kept pullin my muscle in my left leg for the first fortnight becuase of the position of the controls on sports bikes. but once ur used to it its amazin. my...

Suzuki Gn125
Advantages: fuel economy, price
Disadvantages: corrosion, depreciation, acceleration, top speed
...The original intention was to by a Suzuki Van Van. However, I took my CBT on a GN125 and decided that it wouldn't be a bad first bike to learn on. It's also significantly cheaper than a Van Van and top speed is higher.
Bought the bike new back in April 2006 for £1400. The bike was a grey import - Suzuki no longer officially supply this bike to the UK market. As a result the speedometer is in km/h which is a little annoying. That's the only difference that I am aware of from a standard UK bike. I used the bike daily until recently to ride too and from the station.
The bike rides quite well bearing in mind its size. Acceleration is obviously poor compared to a bigger bike but not as bad as you might think. It could certainly outrun the average car from standstill. It really starts to struggle once you get up to 50mph...
