The no so Co-operative Bank

Advantages: None whatsoever.
Disadvantages: All contact and services from them.

Co-op Basic Bank Account - Poor to Bankrupt Credit History

Advantages: everything you need to function normally in a financially dependant society

...For a debt riddled society and banking systems that have been quite happy to fuel such a situation I can honestly say that the Co-op basic bank account is definitely one for those who would like to be in complete control of their money i.e those who do not want to or can not live on bank credit. ...This review although based on the Co-op as a general shop, is actually based on the Plymouth Co-op. Namely, it is actually based on the Plymouth and South West Co-operative Society. Initially started from Plymoutyh, it now has a number of shops throughout Devon and Cornwall. At first, the Co-op actually started trading as a number of smaller tores (almost a corner shops) throughout the Plymouth area, although at one point they moved also in to having almost a supermarket type base within the Honicknowle area of Plymouth (as well as a smaller supermarket at Plympton which is still held to this day). Co-operative shopping small town style

Advantages: Handy and local
Disadvantages: not cheap

...Our local Co-op store has a great advantage over our Somerfield, it is nearer and larger. The staff aren't too bad, some are a bit grumpy but you can get a smile out of some of them. The store layout is fairly conventional, you go through the fruit and veg first, which is a bit silly as you end up having to take the squashable stuff out of the trolley when you get to the cat food aisle. Co-op have fairly good green credentials and like to offer a good proportion of organic and fair trade foods. The ready meals are a bit bland but very cheap. It would probably be possible to do a full week's shopping there, provided you didn't want anything too exotic. Being a holiday town, we fill up at the weekends and it is worth avoiding the co-op on Saturday afternoons, as the first place the caravanners go, once they have checked in...

...Having unfortunately needed the services of the Co-op Funeral Home almost 12 months ago after my mum died, I can only rate the Co-op funeral services extremely highly. Their professionalism at such a difficult time was second to none. They were polite and courteous from beginning to end and did everything they possibly could to ensure the burial went smoothly. I was surprised to find that not only did they arrange the funeral services at the church and at the cemetery, but they also arranged the wake and the catering after the funeral if required. Plus they arranged any flowers that are required or donations. They never tried to sell extra services, they were quite happy to accept that funeral cars weren't required and only the hearse was hired, they didn't try to push anything that wasn't wanted, which is quite unusual...

...This game is the ultimate tactical war game simulator. It's so close to real life warfare that it's scary! It reminds me of Saving Private Ryan, which showed how easily you can die, no respawn in this game. Thankfully in Operation Flashpoint you can employ tactics that reduce the ease and randomness of death. This game lets you control a single soldier, a whole troop, tank platoons and helicopter gunships in the same game, you can even do it in the same mission.
