Twelve Angry men- A classic

Advantages: excellent acting, script, a classic
Disadvantages: none

...and brilliantly others begin to change their minds also. It sounds rather dull when explained in this fashion, but this is far from being the case. It is the interactions between the characters that is so engrossing and flawlessly done. It also highlights how prejudiced we can all be and how we can so quickly judge and dismiss people without really considering all that we know about a person or situation. The film is a testament to the great acting, script and staging that such a convincing film is produced.There are many actors in the film who were at the time unknown, as well as some more well known actors such as Henry Fonda and Lee J Cobb. No dull exhibits here

Advantages: Appeals to a wide audience
Disadvantages: Not a classic

...life and go on the rampage. The head curator is played by Gervais and he has a great character who is not very happy with the new recruit. This film is designed to appeal to children however there is enough humour in it that will appeal to adults as well, there is a high quotient of physical humour but it also has some sharp dialogue as well. There are some good special effects that work well in this film and I liked the overall pac of the whole film. In my top ten films of all time.

Advantages: A real cinematic masterpiece
Disadvantages: It is perfect in my opinion.

There are various fascinating sub plots between various members of the jury and the whole film is totally gripping from start to finish. This film is a real masterpiece and so incredibly good that 95% of it takes place in one room, i.e. the jury room. It is essentially a play but in film format. Review of Twelve Angry Men (DVD)

Not such a well known movie but definitely worth watching

Advantages: Interesting story, very 'fantastical' feel to it/atmospheric, good performances, ending
Disadvantages: Perhaps it could be seen as slightly over the top or cheesy to some if your really critical

...a glimpse of the end and with narration by Bill Cobbs (who also plays the character of Moses), with a somewhat thick southern accent. The musical score adds some effect at points too with an enthusiastic orchestra adding crescendos at points and giving it more of a 1950s 'hustle and bustle' feel to it. It does seem to be a movie with some morals behind it and its interesting to see the way Norville changes as a person after being made president of the company. I guess you could say the movie is all about judging the characters your introduced to and about how that could lead to you changing too. It has quite a 'fantastical' feel to it, with it seeming almost like its set in Gotham city, as a dark, money centric city with its fair share of villainous type characters. The ending has an interesting twist, it is a little 'Its a Wonderful Life...
