...I have been using 'Palmers Cocoa Butter' on and off for many years. Palmers Cocoa Butter retails for about £4 - £4.99 for the 270g pack. I buy mine at the local beauty shop and have also bought it in Superdrug previously.. It comes in a large white opaque round jar with a white screw top cover with the words 'Palmer's' in an orange caption and the 'Cocoa Butter Formula' in white letters with a brown caption box.. The rest of the jar has words 'with Vitamin E' and 'Heals & Softens rough, Dry skin' and 'Smoothes Marks & Scars' on the front. ...Palmers Cocoa Butter is my "holy grail" body moisturiser. I have strayed away and tried many others but I always come back to this one. This moisturiser is recommented to "Soften, Smooths and Relieve Dry Skin", and it is also the most commonly used prevention for stretch marks in pregnancy. Since I've never been pregnant, I can't comment on how effective it is for that, but I believe it did help fade the adolescent stretch marks I have on my upper thighs. The moisturiser comes in a 250ml opaque white bottle. It is also availible in a 150ml tub with a screw off lid, but to me the consistancy seemed the same and they are the same price, so I always buy the bottle. ...I found this cream in Superdrug when I was around a month pregnant and started using it straight away. I bought a tube which comes in a box and is priced around £5 for 125g. You can also get a lotion which I tried to which costs £5 for 250ml. The cream kept my skin soft and I didn't ever get itching like it says you can suffer from in pregnancy books. I used this cream on my tummy, hips, thighs and bum. During my pregnancy I did get alot of stretch marks on my bum and hips that appeared red and purple but I carried on using the cream and not one mark appeared on my tummy. Around 2 weeks after having my beautiful baby my stretch marks had already dissapeared. ...I found that Palmer's Cocoa butter formula is defiantly worth it for the price that it's at. For just £3.50 for a 250ml easy to use flip bottle there's no point not giving it a go on those marks and scars! At first, as I noticed the item on the shop shelf, I was a little sceptic about whether or not the product would work as well as it says on the bottle as it claims to 'Soften, smoothes and relieves dry skin. Also helps smooth and blend unattractive marks and scars'. But after a few good reviews about this product, I thought, why not?
