The cans and bottles delivered to Czech republic read "Coca-Cola Light" instead of Diet Coke, I suppose that might had been a good marketing touch since we don't like to be reminded of diet all the time, plus stuff labelled "diet" here means it's made particularly for diabetics. If Coke is advertized as a trendy youth non-alco drink, then Coke Light is claimed to be just as trendy but for people who do care about their health, that's where the ads make a ridicule of themselves. ...Diet Coke.... Even before I was watching what I eat and drink to loose weight I would always opt for a diet coke over regular coke (or as I usually call it "fat coke"). The taste difference between standard coke and diet coke is rather a lot because regular coke tastes so very sweet. Regular coke will often make my teeth feel coated in a layer of sheen and give me a furry tongue, so for these reasons I have always been a diet coke girl. The calorie content in a can of diet coke is a mere 1 calorie per can which is nothing compared to the couple of hundred that a standard coke can contains. The price is the same however whether you are drinking regular or diet and for a single can nowadays you are looking at paying around the 70 pence mark. ...I was always a fan of coca cola and loved to have it when at the pub or for a special treat. I have recently though moved on to loving diet coke instead. ...I have always been a fan of diet soft drinks. As a child my mother would never give me or my sister any pop that had sugar in it. You would never find a bottle of sugar loaded pop in the fridge at my house. The only time I ever remember drinking pop that had sugar in it would have been at my Nanna's house and then my mother wouldnt have been too pleased. ...I purchased a 1.5 litre bottle of diet coke for £1 from my local Poundland this weekend. This is supplied in a clear plastic bottle with a white lid and a silver label advising that the product is sugar free and showing the Diet Coke logo in red and black. This product is fat free and virtually calorie free so this is definitely my preferred choice of fizzy drink! I find that this product has just the right amount of fizz and does not make my eyes water. It does fizz up very fast when poured in to a cup or glass and I think that this is probably because of the aspartame or one of the other "not so great" ingredients that this product contains. It is quite different tasting to regular coke and it doesn't leave you teeth covered in that sugary film that I tend to find myself experiencing with drinking normal coke. I generally have...
