...I bought this product from a local Boots store for only £7.50. I had heard that this was one of the best foundations there is, especially for my fair skin tone. They were right. This line of foundation has an extensive range of shades from the ghostly white to the darkest brown, a colour for everyone. I managed to find my perfect shade quickly and efficiently without the need for testers. This foundation I found was easy to blend even upto my hairline and the small cracks around my nose. The visibilty was just enough and it's coverage beautiful. It was noticeable and because it had adapted itself to my skin, it gave my skin tone a look of perfection. It is exceptional value money and I would reccomend it to any woman who struggles with blending their current foundation or finding their shade. Removing the foundation couldn't have been...

Colour Adapt Foundation?

Advantages: good pump on bottle to aid application, long ;asting
Disadvantages: hard to blend, quite thick

...sufficient coverage. I also found it incredibly difficult to blend, I felt like it was obvious that it had been applied. Once applied, I did find that the colour was a little too light, however the next shade up was definitely too dark for me. The foundation did last a long time though, although I didn't completely achieve the avoidance from the greasy look once it starts wearing off that I'd hoped for. It was also easily removed. Overall, this product wasn't for me. It did feel good quality though so I wouldn't completely tell people to avoid it, it just didn't suit my skin tone and type....

For those who'd like to know (and I already explained my skin at the beginning), it went something like this: - £10-£15 Budget. - Medium to full coverage. - I use foundation practically every day. She recommended Max Factor Colour Adapt, it was around £11 and she happily went into detail about it. It has no SPF but you can easily sort that out by using moisturiser first, it's quite a liquidy consistancy and you only need to use a pea sized amount, it sets almost powder like. Advantages: Plenty of amusing scenes; Rincewind is a great character, as is the Luggage
Disadvantages: Less coherent than later books, and not as sharp in the satire

...The Colour of Magic - which is really half of a complete story, along with its sequel, The Light Fantastic - is where Discworld, and the real celebrity of Terry Pratchett, all began. He'd written a few books before this, but the Discworld series is the true cause of his enduring fame. Why "Discworld"? Because the stories set on a world shaped like a disc, of course! (Mind you, one of the footnotes for which Pratchett is famed implies that it may have been supposed to have been a pizza...) As a long-time fan of the series who has only recently returned to read this book again, one thing that stands out is just how long the story takes to get into gear. Much of the opening section is more concerned with poking fun at the stereotypes of fantasy fiction than in actually moving things along. The parody is well done and humorously accurate...

Advantages: stays on forever and lasted me nearly 2 years

...texture quite charming and it went on to my skin so smoothly. It cost me about 10 or 11 pounds witch isn't that cheap but as it lasted nearly 2 years... i found it good value for money also it dosent go on orange like most foundations do it came on a tinted skin colour ..so it was a nice colour too ....As the texture is quite thick and creamy, I only needed a pea size amount to cover my face and under my chin. when you apply it to your face it goes on like a powder but as if your putting moisteriser on thats how easy it is to use, you can either put dots on your face and rub them in or you can do it however is easier for you. either way it will turn out great with no lines or blotchy parts. I liked to use a soft sponge to sread it out evenly around my face and then pat lightly to set. After putting it on, my freckles were almost all gone...

Masterfully Magic - The Colour of Magic

Advantages: Magical characters, great story, great humour

...Before I start, I just have to say that Pratchett is one of my all time favourite author?s, and so it is going to be hard for me to write a thoroughly unbiased. However, this is a user review and so I will attempt to tell of how this book made Pratchett, in my personal opinion, one of the finest writers out there. The fact that the Discworld series is still going strong after so many releases shows just how magical, interesting and in depth a universe Pratchett has created. And Colour of Magic has to be the best introduction into this amazing world there can be. The main plot of the story is that of a traveller named Twoflower, the first tourist the Discworld has seen, and his wonderfully many legged, pearwood pet/guard/companion/thing; the Luggage. It is on their travels to the magnificent, yet not so endearing, city of Ankh...

...Max Factor Colour Adapt foundation is widely available and provides good value for money. The foundation is creamy and feels light to wear, but also offers great coverage of blemishes and flawless, even skintone, providing performance comparable to much more expensive brands. Matching skintone, this foundation gives a very natural look, is easy to remove using cleanser or cleansing wipes, and doesn't dry skin out. It blends easily and the paler shades are great for those with very fair skin. Having said this, however, coverage doesn't last as long as it could, although wearing a powder over the foundation seems to help. Also, the packaging makes it difficult to see how much product is left in the bottle, meaning that I always run out suddenly, without more to hand....

...I have tried number of different brands and types of foundation over the years. I first used Max Factor Colour Adapt when I got a free sample of it after buying some other Max Factor products. Colour Adapt comes in five shades: Creamy Ivory, Warm Almond, Blushing Beige, the uninformatively-named Natural, and Golden. It claims to adapt to your natural skin tones to provide a natural finish. The free sample I received was Natural, which is a bit darker than my actual skin tone. I have very pale skin so I thought the sample would be useless. I decided to try it anyway. I applied a very small amount by putting small dots of it on my face and blending it in with my fingers. The product looked quite dark beige, but when I began to blend it in, it looked absolutely fine with my skin tone. I didn't look orange or have any harsh lines...
