Wii Family Ski is a game that up to five people can play and requires the Wii Fit to be able to play. It took me a while to find the Wii Fit or as it is also known the balance board but I kept on searching and got there in the end. Wii Family Ski lets you create a character from scratch or you can import your Mii character too whilst selecting different ski gear for your character. You need to use the Nunchuck and Remote in your hands to use as ski poles and step on the Wii Board to really take advantage of this great game. ...When it comes to sport I have always tried to avoid extreme sports, favouring instead things like athletics and running. I represented my county (Yorkshire) at both cross country running and athletics when I was still at school and since then I have completed one full marathon and three half marathons but as far as sport is concerned that is about it for me. ...The silent majesty of the Canadian Rockies in winter is a completely unforgettable sight but the feeling of skiing down the tree lined runs is second to none. Now that Christmas is over it is time to dust off the Salopettes, dig out the passports, buy a new set of thermals and head off to the slopes. ...Everyone loves a good bargain...well these little yoghurts are buy one get one free in Sainsburys as I type! They're Ski Smooth Yoghurts, and are delicious. Made by Nestle, they come in blue packs of four with two flavours - strawberry and raspberry sized in 120 gram pots. As the title states, they're smooth versions so contain no 'bits' in them, something that I'm a big fan of as I hate getting little hard bits of fruit stuck in my teeth which can happen with yoghurts with the 'bits' still in them. According to the packaging, "with all natural ingredients and years of experience in blending delicious fruit with creamy tasting yoghurt, Ski yoghurts are just naturally delicious." Very much so! My younger brother, a fanatical skier, lives in the States, and he swears that Whistler has the best snow in North America from November onwards. Disadvantages: some of the online forms are a bit long and clunky

...I used this site last year to find a ski season job in the alps. What I liked about it was that it has a wide range of jobs from different kinds of resort employers. Lots of small chalets as well as large tour operators. You apply online and your application goes direct to employers by email. No middlemen or agencies filtering your CV. During May and June there are new jobs coming on the site almost every day but you can sign up for job alerts so you get an email letting you know what has been posted without having to visit the site. I also found the video zone useful as it gives an insight into the different kind of jobs available. What they are really like with no gloss. Especially like the moonwalker on the ski host video!...

...If you're visiting Dubai, a land of sun, sea and sand, you can now add snow to the list! What could be more fun than taking a couple of hours to practice your snow plough and boarding jumps than a couple of hours in the snow? It's worth the 160dhs (about 20 pounds) for adults just to be cold for 2 hours! It's a great family fun thing to do. For smaller children there is the snow park complete with icy slides and sledges and for those feeling braver they can head onto the ski slope. Ther te are 2 main slopes, one of which they rate as a black run, but to be honest is not too difficult.
