Freedom of cables to connect your PS2 or Xbox
Review of Linksys Wireless-B Game Adapter WGA11B by
Batch
Advantages: Picks up any wireless Internet connection, works well with PS2, LAN play as well
Disadvantages: None
...with communication speeds of up to 11Mbps (Megabits per second) which means that you can have the best fun out of the online gaming experience.
In my opinion, this accessory is an absolute must have as this is made by Linksys and also Cisco Systems and this means that these brand names can be trusted. It works perfectly and I could not find any faults with it at all. Recommended for both Xbox and PS2 gamers about to get their consoles online or existing online gamers.

SD Transflash Adapter/Memory Card
Review of Expansys Trans Flash SD TFSD 128 128 MB by
mikeywhitto
Advantages: Can be used in most electronic equipment
Disadvantages: Very small so can be lost easily
...look in places like Argos, SD memory cards are extremely over-priced. I have seen some cards that are £30 at Argos being sold for £5 online. Amazon or Play.com are definitely the best places to buy ALL memory cards - they are so cheap you won't believe it. You should try and get this card for around £5.
Conclusion
The SD card/adapter has an infinite amount of uses and for the price I payed ... it was probably the best £5 I have ever spent....

How does online play on the Wii sound?
Review of Datel LAN Adapter for Nintendo Wii by
mrten_8
Advantages: Easy to set up, cheaper than the official product, online wii-ness
Disadvantages: None
...Having got very fed up with the unpredictability of the Nintendo USB WiFi adapter, I decided I neeeded a wired internet connection for my Wii. It would be faster, and more reliable than the wireless connecton, which would in turn mean I'd be keeping more of my hair. Put simply, I had to have a wired internet connection for my Wii.
Now I had 2 choices. I could either wait for, potentially, months for Nintendo to release an official Wii LAN Adapter, or I could take a risk and go with a third party, unofficial adapter from Datel. I took the risk, and I have to say, it's one of the best things I've bought for my Wii so far. I usually only ever buy officail gaming products, but in this case, my risk was well worth it.
I bought my adapter from play.com for £14.99 a few months back now. The product came in a small, but descriptive box...

A dotcom that is providing a service
Review of ciao.com by
LeighCook
Advantages: Great consumer oriented site
Disadvantages: Not enough links with retailers
...the edge that they need to keep alive? First and foremost is the fact that any consumer coming to the site is not arriving here by clicking on a random ad, they are here because they want to be here. The key to Ciao.coms success is the quality of information that the consumer receives while here and whether the site is good enough to bring the consumer back for more.
As Ciao.com grows and becomes more popular, it is going to have to grow and adapt, perhaps having more direct links to products so that consumers can buy their product immediately without having to surf the web. This would also be an additional source of revenue.
Most important is that the articles and opinions submitted to Ciao.com are of the highest quality. As much as we all would like to earn a lot of money quickly by writing hundreds of poor revues, we will soon find...

Cover up!
Review of Max Factor Colour adapt Foundation by
rut52
Advantages: Long lasting, beautiful coverage
Disadvantages: Can be drying if skin is not well moisturised
....95 from Boots, but can be picked up much cheaper on the net. It is available in seven shades, from Cream Ivory to Bronze. On the max factor website (www.maxfactor.com) you can request a free sample, which will be one of the medium shades, Natural, which is the one that was perfect for my skin.
According to the website, the way it works is:
- Traditional foundations contain pigments that can only reflect a single colour.
- Colour Adapt is a breakthrough technology that contains unique Colour Adapting particles.
- These unique particles adapt to, pick up and reflect the colour of the underlying background, in this case your skin.
-So when Colour Adapt is applied, you don’t see just pigment colour, instead you see a unique blend of coloured pigments as well as your inherent skin tone.
- In effect you are the secret ingredient. The result...

Worst Customer Service in the Industry
Review of buy.com by
Chrysophylax
Advantages: Prices, Selection
Disadvantages: Shipping, Customer Service, Returns, Faulty Unchecked Merchandise
...Buy.com has the worst customer service of any company I've ever dealt with. I used to work as a CS manager for a major software firm and am honestly appalled at the service level Buy.com has provided me.
It began with the shipment of a pre-opened package for a wireless device which included a power adapter for a different device. (Rendering it useless.) I'm assuming it was a customer return which was not quality checked before reselling. For a replacement, Buy.com does not ship a new one out until they receive the old one via ground delivery which takes 5-7 (or more) days to get to their warehouse. They then ship the replacement via ground delivery for another 5-7 (or more) days.
I find this completely unacceptable as Buy.com is at fault in this situation for selling unchecked faulty merchandise. I contacted Buy.com's customer service...

Thats HUGE
Review of buy.com by
robertliu84
Advantages: Free delivery
Disadvantages: Expensive, poor range, and not good
...packaging. Ok my first order was Windows ME, some paper.
Of course, windows ME was not due to be released yet, so the paper was dispatched. This was placed into a box about 6 times its size. About a week later, I received Windows ME, in the same sized box. OK, I suppose they don't have that big a range of boxes, so that seemed reasonable.
Later, I got a new keyboard, but it was PS/2, but I only had an AT connection. I ordered a PS/2 - AT adapter from Buy.com for about £2.50, and received it in 5 days time. Guess what?!?!? It came in a HUGE box! The same size used for the paper and Windows ME. It could probably fit a 15" monitor in it if you didn't use any bags or things. The size of these adapters were only about the size of my thumb...
I think they could improve, if they haven't already... use an envelope!!!
The website is also not so...

Maxfactor, does what it says on the tin
Review of Max Factor Colour adapt Foundation by
tarasarah
Advantages: does what it says on the bottle
Disadvantages: expensive
..., This is not the case with this product, the product goes on very well, covers very well and best of all adapts well to your skin tone.
The Foundation was not at all greasy and even had a matt finish to it, which looks great.
With this I felt no need to add powder over the top as I think it has powder in it (or so it seems anyway).
I would recommend this product to anyone but I do feel at £11.50 the bottle isn’t quite big enough to be great value for money.
Don’t get me wrong I would pay the money for the product as it is great and you do have to pay for quality.
The email address for enquiries on this product or other max factor products is maxfactor.im@pg.com
The website address for maxfactor is maxfactor.co.uk , where you can obtain a free sample of this product....

Poor Service
Review of callnetuk.com by
chaos
Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Paying out and not receiving a service
...At the beginning of May this year I registered via www.callnet.co.uk for their unmetered internet access on 26 May they took the sum of £19.99 form my account without any form of confirmation of advisement.
in return for this fee I should have received a telephone adapter which would have allowed me to use their service. To this date Ihave not recieved it. subsqently I have learned that callnet have withdrawn their unmetered service.
Despite many emails and letters to them I have not had my money returned or recieved any recognition from them.
I consider them to have offered a non existant service and would strongly recommend anyone I knew not to use them...
