Lego Technic Combine Harvester

Advantages: Looks so cool! Fun to assemble
Disadvantages: Don't misplace any pieces!

...find it so rewarding putting the pieces together and following the instructions to make something that looks really impressive. It looks really good on display and is a great conversation piece! It is currently looking very swish on a table in the corner of our sitting room. The total length of the combine harvester is a massive 17 inches! It really is impressive. The age on the box is 10 - 16 years, but personally I thought this was quite tricky to make, especially since there are so many pieces and the actual combine harvester is so big. I'm not sure I would have managed it when I was 10! There are 1025 pieces in the model. I would take care not to loose any pieces whilst making this, we had to stall our assembling for a little while while we searched for one tiny piece that we could not continue without! ...I can't think of a reason why you'd go for a HSBC set of credit cards, apart from the fact that you already have an HSBC account. It's there. It's well run. It's not cheap, it has 'points' but you need to spend a fortune to use them. They also charge a yearly fee of 12 pounds, which seems excessive for not getting much in return. All I can say is thank god im on a graduate account at the moment, phew I don't have to pay such a figure. Basically a standard pair of bank's credit cards (Mastercard and Visa), with a good credit limit but no much else going for them. although I do get the feeling the customer services could be improved a little....

...Card buying can be an expensive thing, especially at this time of year and as much as I love the quality of the cards in stores such as Clintons, with my large family I just cannot afford to buy all my family cards from stores such as these at Christmas. So I was pretty impressed with Card Factory opened up a store in my local town recently. For me this store offers good quality products, but at really cost effective prices. Obviously their main market is the card market. They offer cards for all occasions including birthdays, anniversaries, moving, sorry, thank you and general cards too. Their cards are priced at 59p for a small card, 89p for a medium card and 99p for a large card, which for me is excellent value for money. ...The HSBC card is a fairly standard credit card with very few frills that I can think of. I suppose though that is fulfills it's surpose as a payment device, but that is not the point. There are so many banks and credit cards out there today that you'd think they would make some attempt to attract people. ...The nectar card is the loyalty card associated with Sainsbury's, however it has since branched out and is affiliated with many companies which allows for maximum point collecting! Let's start with the basics, you get 2 points per pound spent at Sainsburys or 1 point per litre of petrol bought at the Sainsbury's petrol garage. Each point accumulated is worth half a penny, so you need 2 points to equal 1 pence. If you redeem your points in store at Sainbury's then you will need minimum 500 points for £2.50 off o your shopping. Points need to be redeemed in increments of 500. Points can also be collected in other stores, for example Dolland and Aitchinson also give 2 points per pound, as do Homebase. Working for the well known card shop
