Reviews of command & conquer (pc
The greatness of Command & Conquer
Review of Command & Conquer (PC) by
Richy2000
Advantages: On many consoles
Disadvantages: You can sit for too long playing it
...Command & Conquer is a great game if you don't have the best computer in the world, it runs well on a 486 with * MB RAM, and the gameplay is excelent.
I first played this at a friends house and decided to go out and buy it, it turned out to be better than I thought!
Command & Conquer is a very hard game to win on, you can choose to be GDI or NOD. GDI being the good guys. NOD being the bad guys.
It's sequel, Tiberian Sun, is also great, having 3D Isometric Graphics instead of the standard tile based engine....

The best
Review of Command & Conquer (PC) by
Waz
Advantages:
Disadvantages:
...Command & Conquer is a real-time, tactical strategy game set in the future. Will you side with the evil Brotherhood of Nod, a terrorist faction bent on world dominance, or fight for the side of good and join the United Nations Global Defense Initiative (GDI)? Construct your base, harvest the resource known as Tiberium, and train minigunners, tanks, bikes, mechs, choppers, and jet fighters in an attempt to wipe your opponent off the map. Supporting up to four players per game, Command & Conquer was one of the first popular online strategy games. "You gotta love this game! The Single Players mission are a blast and Multiplayer kicks ass! MUST BUY!"...

awesome
Review of Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun (PC) by
steve009
Advantages: can be used on most graphics cards
Disadvantages: none ive found
...I bought this game as it was highley recommended and was very impressed with the former game command and conquer. This game takes command and conquer to another level with even better graphics and game play. Smother movements and quicker buildings makes this an ideal game to keep your interest for many hours. You have a choice of either playing the good guy or the bad guy so you get to see the game plan from both sides.
Being fairly new to computer games on the pc i had no porblem in understanding the way that it works ie the missions and building.
This game has about 14 mission on both sides good and bad so this will keep you entertained for may hours.
If your into war and stratergy games this is a must for anyone young or old.
This can be used in conjuction with most graphics cards unlike some of the other new games....

Command & Conquer: Red Alert
Review of Command & Conquer: Red Alert (PC) by
dennissh
Advantages: Music Graphics
Disadvantages: None
...The game Command and Conquer - Red Alert many waited. And let they will confirm - it is possible to play, but it is a little boring.
Yes, so. As, Command and Conquer - Red Alert done not leave almost from past Command and Conquer. And in it that all were beat, give the god. By one word, this time Westwood has made the simplly good game, but no more that.
The set units was increased, quantity of missions became more, the scene has changed. But most of all has changed multiplayer. The dump of functions for more successful item of information of the several players on one virtual field of swearing is entered. Now game supports not only modem, network, but also connection through Internet. Moreover, has appeared Skrimish Mode, permitting to play a singleton in selected custom - missions. Is remarkable, that the computer players...

Superb game
Review of Command & Conquer: Red Alert (PC) by
colin16
Advantages: Full of action, best game of its genre
Disadvantages: none
...Command and Conquer Red Alert was the first very succesful game of this tyep it was a strong favourite with me and all of my friends. The game is very addictive as it is full of different missions for you to accomplish, and lots of different maps to explore. In this game you dont hold a gun and fight, you overlook the missons, you build factories, collect ore (your source of money), and direct your army into battle. Ever since this game ther has been a loy of similar games known as command and conquer clones, so far none of them have been anywhere near as good. This game is action packed and very addictive, I recommend you give it a go.
I hope this ahs been of help to you, thanx....

C&C Tiberian Sun
Review of Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun (PC) by
Jamie.Benstead
Advantages:
Disadvantages:
...Command and Conquer: Tiberian sun is a great strategy game where you play as either GDI (Globle Defence Initiative) or NOD (Brotherhood Of Nod) in a futureistic scene of battle controling robotic veciles like titans, (one of the best GDI units) moble senors ( good for see invisable units) and loads more...
Build your base and harvest the tiberien with blue tiberian being more valible then green tiberian, then build a massive army and go all out to destroy your oponent.
For the fans of strategy games this is a must have....

Not much improvement from the first one
Review of Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun (PC) by
mikec1uk
Advantages: It is fun and you will spend hours playing on it. It is good value for money.
Disadvantages: It is not much of an improvement over Red Alert 2.
...I had the first Command and Conquer, and as soon as Tiberian Sun came out i wanted it. I splashed out £30 and to be honest I am a bit disappointed, as it is not much of an improvement over the first one. The graphics are better, it has more types of soldier and things like this, but apart from appearance, there is not much difference. I am not saying this game is a waste of money and boring, it is just that there is not much improvement like everybody was expecting there to be. If you dont have Command and Conquer: Red Alert, then i would still recommend getting this game as it is fun and will keep you entertained for hours.
Now to talk about the game. It is set in the early 21st century, and it once again pits the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) against the Brotherhood of NOD in a struggle for control of the planer. It has an epic...

A Stepping Stone
Review of Command & Conquer: Red Alert (PC) by
anotherwiseguy
Advantages: some nice tweaks to C&C
Disadvantages: just a sequel
...Red Alert was a great game when it came out. A great improvement to Command and Conquer, the game came with some rather funky internet playing abilities that, at the time were the business.
The game itself was predictable in format, yet still managed to be a vast improvement on the all-together blocky graphics of Command and Conquer and the gameplay that had proved some addictive in the original was also mastered. The units had been altered to the historical pretence and yet some of the new types of technology introduced seemed to alter the balance somewhat for experienced players, who found the Allied armies at a disadvantage to the cheap Soviet manpower and Tesla-coil defences.
This imbalance mostly comes into play when in human-human gaming though, and the in-built scenarios are fair and challenging. There are three difficulty...

A return to form for C&C 3: Tiberium Wars
Review of Command and Conquer: Tiberium Wars (PC-DVD) by
AceW
Advantages: Great graphics, Great game play and will last a while.
Disadvantages: Not that different from previous games in the series
...Ah Command & Conquer how I missed you. After a long wait its a return to form for Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars, the third in the tiberium series. With amazing graphics, the same old awesome Command & Conquer style gameplay and a whole new race this is a must have game for anyone who plays real time stratergy games.
You play as the "commander" of the army of either the 'Global Defence Initiative' (GDI) or the sinister 'Brotherhood of Nod' (Nod). Set 50 years after the original Command & Conquer, the world is now split into different zones depending on the tiberium infestation. For those new to the series tiberium is a crystal like plant/substance which although incredibly useful (It acts as the primary resource for the game) it is also highly toxic and kills or mutates anything it comes into contact with. The Zones are devided...

DArk Days
Review of Dark Colony (PC) by
Creative
Advantages: See Review
Disadvantages: See Review
...We are not alone - even now a menacing alien presence is waiting in the shadows. Their intentions are purely evil, and threaten all of mankind. But not even the most spaced-out conspiracy theorist could envision the true extent of their master plan. For the aliens intend to conquer mankind by unleashing their secret weapon - wait for it - a horde of hopelessly unoriginal Command and Conquer clones. These alien monsters know no mercy. Of course, some people might say that the current glut of C&C a likes is down to a pathetic attempt by various software houses to cash in on the success of Command and Conquer and Command and Conquer: Red Alert, to sate their corporate greed. But that's just too far fetched. Isn't it? Anyway, whichever theory you support, there's no denying that C&C has to be the most copied game ever, barring perhaps...
