  DVD Player that can play DivX .avi files and more!

Advantages: Plays DivX AVI and MPEG files, Supports lots of formats, Looks good, Karaoke,
Disadvantages: DivX 3.11, 4.02 plays slightly slanted, cheap plasticy remote, Doesn't play some NTSC encoded files

...navigate to choose another song while a song is playing. I have to stop it first but I would have preferred to be able to navigate to the next song during playback. These are only minor things and shouldn't stop you from buying this player. It displays JPG images fine and you can even rotate them but smaller pictures will become pixellated (blotchy) because they are enlarged quite a bit on screen. -= Playing Audio CDs and MP3 CDs =- No problems with playing music CDs and MP3 CDs. DVD's a Plenty!!!

Advantages: cheap, compact, great bargain
Disadvantages: none

...from around that price and appear still big and bulky. This particular Woolworth?s Worth It DVD player was tiny and looked pretty snazzy in a compact way. So to look at the DVD is a nice silver in colour and is 4cm in height, 20cm in width and 16 cm in length. So as you can tell really the whole system is pretty tiny (especially if you saw our last Liteon DVD recorder which took up a little too much room). There is no display screen on the front of the DVD player and all the buttons are on top of the box instead of usually being at the front. The DVD is placed in a flip open lid that sits on the top of the box and therefore you wouldn?t be able to put anything else on top of this system unlike many other DVD players. However the fact that this box is so tiny and thin I think you would not really want to put anything on top of it...

Award winning DVD player

Advantages: Fantastic picture quality, fantastic audio quality, great value
Disadvantages: not exactly cheap, a bit chunky looking

One thing that is really cool is that if you pause the DVD and then it stops (you know how if they are on pause for too long they close down), when you restart you have the option of restarting from where you last paused, so you don't have to try and find the right bit all over again. That's great. I am so happy with this machine, I really wish we'd bought one earlier. Well worth it, if you have an HD TV. If you don't have a CD player, I think you could just have one of these wired up to speakers and do without a separate CD player - the quality is better than my CD player actually. You'll love this product....
