The main power cord is attached well to the back of the laptop. It connects to a transformer that then leads to the mains socket all in all there are two connecting wires for this lap top and one for connecting to the internet. I decided i'd go for a laptop instead this time as it takes up less space and is mobile. Having never had a laptop before i was cautious as to what laptop to buy. ...I received a Compaq 7500 monitor with my old Compaq PC about 3 years ago in 2002. INFO The 7500 is a 17" CRT screen made by Compaq but made in China. I don't think Compaq sell these any more but I have seen them on EBAY for about £35 and as little as £16. DETAILS AND DESIGN The monitor is all black in design with a silver frame surrounding the screen and the controls. Well really it's not silver but more like a brushed aluminium effect. This is a standard 17" Compaq monitor with I think a 16" viewable area. It's shape and design are far better than a lot of newer monitors on the market today. The main back section of the monitor is not that big so you can easily fit the monitor on to the smaller sized office desks you get for home PC's.
