Advantages: its fast, stylish and very portable

...I recently decided to get rid of my desktop computer due to it being out of date and incredibly slow and virus ridden. I decided i'd go for a laptop instead this time as it takes up less space and is mobile. Having never had a laptop before i was cautious as to what laptop to buy. I'd never looked into it before so wasn't sure on the market. I initially thought i would buy a Sony or a laptop from Dell. To do this day i've had no problems with it what so ever and the performance is top class, far better than my old desktop. Disadvantages: Surface smudgy - very hard to keep clean,

...The only downfall of a superb machine is the material used to form the main body. The body is made of a shiny plastic material. This is a poor decision made by Compaq as this material is easily dirtied and smudged. Although an annoying and persistent problem, it can be easily rectified by cleaning the whole body with spectacle lens cleaning wipes a few times a month. The battery can last for about 2 hours on full power and 5-10 on 'Power Saver' mode. Energy consumption can be regulated by the user and new power regulating plans can be created. Compact Compaq CRT 17" Monitor

...I received a Compaq 7500 monitor with my old Compaq PC about 3 years ago in 2002. INFO The 7500 is a 17" CRT screen made by Compaq but made in China. I don't think Compaq sell these any more but I have seen them on EBAY for about £35 and as little as £16. DETAILS AND DESIGN The monitor is all black in design with a silver frame surrounding the screen and the controls. Well really it's not silver but more like a brushed aluminium effect. This is a standard 17" Compaq monitor with I think a 16" viewable area. It's shape and design are far better than a lot of newer monitors on the market today. The main back section of the monitor is not that big so you can easily fit the monitor on to the smaller sized office desks you get for home PC's.
