Too cool for High School!

Advantages: amazing songs, fab cast, easy to follow, family fun!
Disadvantages: over too quick!

...I'd not seen High School Musical, nor had I seen High School Musical 2, so there was no surprise that I hadn't made any plans to see High School Musical 3. Though when a friend offered to pay me in, I decided it would be worthwhile going to see; after all, I would never turn down a free cinema ticket! Although it may have been a good idea to find something, even a little, about the first two films before I went in, I decided to not bother. ...From an early age I have been an avid reader. I used to love a lot of 'collections' as a child, such as Mr Men and Little Miss, Two of a Kind, and of course the Animal Ark series. These amazing books written by Lucy Daniels is a collection about an animal lover named Mandy Hope. One of the titles is Squirrels in the School. The cover of the book is very important, I feel, as it is when we make our first impressions. I personally think that this particular book has quite an amusing cover. There is a picture of two squirrels sitting in a classroom, a black board and stationary behind them. I think its uniqueness and its peculiar sense drew me to it, and indeed it won my vote on the cover term! The book is about Mandy and her best friend James. Advantages: fabulous, feisty uplifting fun for people of all ages.amazing soundtrack.
Disadvantages: stereotypical plotline

This makes school cool (sort of!)

Advantages: Excellent revision material

...layout as GCSE. Some of the subjects have a glossary, which can be printed out. I find these pages are excellent and fortunately all the subjects I'm studying are on this site. 3. Careers This section is really useful. You can do a quiz to find out which job suits you. It offers you help in choosing your subjects and tells you what you can do with them. There is a section called I'm finishing school, tell me about it. It tells you how you can earn cash while you learn and lets you find out about different careers. 4. Discussion Groups I've never used this section before but I had a quick look in for the purpose of this review. There are many areas to have discussions such as your subjects, university, careers, travel, bullying and eating disorders. 5. Advantages: Sound revision tips, great content, and career advice

...Ok I lied, school is not cool. To be honest it's boring, tedious and mind-numbingly dull. The same goes for revision. Who wants to be stuck in the house revising, when you could be doing more interesting things. Having said all this, the fact is that without good grades, you stand no chance what so ever, of going to college, or university, and pursing your dream career. Basically what I'm saying is that revision, is a must if you want to make the grade. We should consider ourselves lucky, you know, out parents had to be content with pouring over hard-backed textbooks. But we have access to the web, which can actually make our revision that little bit more bearable, and at times more exciting. Too cool for school? Not in my opinion!

...I first used Nivea Aqua Cool anti-perspirant deodorant about 6 months ago as they had run out of my normal deodorant. It was on buy one get one free in Tesco's and i thought i'd give it a try as i've always found Nivea a reputable brand. The next morning came and it was time to test it out. I sprayed on the deodorant and was amazed at how good it smelt. Normally deodorants smell full of chemicals, but this was diferent. The Nivea Aqua cool deodorant aerosol states that it provides a 24hr protection and this is definately true. Even after a long work out or strenuous activity it smells as it did when first applied! ...I'm a big fan of the tycoon series of games - mall tycoon, zoo tycoon, casino tycoon etc so I thought that school tycoon would be another game to add to that list. I bought it for £5 at PC world and, at that price, you pretty much can't go wrong! There are a couple of different modes to this game. There is the story mode, where you have to build a school from scratch on a limited budget and operate at a profit but also meet the standards of education that you need to achieve eg sports/discipline/attendance etc. You can do this by employing the right (strict) teachers. This is where the challenge lies as obviously there is a trade-off between employing the best teachers and paying lower wages. You also get to design the layout of your school and choose what to build and where. There are facilities such as cafeterias, staff rooms...

..., first sucking up to key teachers (four assistant heads and the heads of department.) This meant that they believed we were these helpful angelic pupils who worked hard. We would then use this to our advantage and get away with all sorts. When a teacher needed someone to take a message somewhere we would go but not come back till five minutes before the end of the lesson and spend the time dosing around. Then we would come up with a scheme that we collected notes allowing us out of class (to go to the toilet, find a colour printer, work in another classroom etc.) We would use these to constantly move around the school during lessons without being picked up for skiving. At one point I even had a note from the deputy head saying that I had permission to go home as I was ill. We scanned the note into the computer, removed the date and I used this...

Disadvantages: there are only seven !

...Lord , I'm not sure if I have 10 . Well , not " best " in the usual sense of the word where everyone is doing something good , studious and productive , and at the end of it they are presented with a nice certificate and some house points If that's what your expecting of MY school days , then maybe you'd better stop reading now ? The ones I remember most vividly , the ones I enjoyed the most regardless of anyone else's enjoyment or lack of it , and the ones that just stand out from every other routine day for whatever reason ..
