Advantages: It can be quite funny (without intent) in places

...This must have been filmed very quickly after the first film. Both Grace Jones and Arnold have got almost nothing to say, the lines seem to have been passed to those who could speak them more clearly. Despite being a sequal theres no real continuity with the first movie other than its still Arnold playing Conan and that clearly a little bit of time has passed since the end of the first movie. Basically the plot is this:- Conan doing a favour to try & retrieve a magical gem and get his lover brought back to life which devolves into a rescue movie as only 1 person can touch the gem and Conan has to get her back from the evil wizard who actually has the magical gem they've gone to steal which is rather handy as it kills 2 birds with 1 stone. Conan: A musical analysis of Conan the Barbarian

Advantages: A mind blowing Classic of the highest order.
Disadvantages: There simply is none, if less than perfect sound quality doesn't bother you.

The orchestra literally creates a metallic grinding noise in the background as the orchestra marches onward in an oppressive style with a slight Oriental touch added for flavour. It is however broken as Conan's theme is stated in a bold brass fanfare as he grows up to become a man. The "Atlantean Sword" takes a variation on Conan's theme with some mystic undertones created by celeste and the minor-keyed string dirges of Rózsa-like feeling. ...The follow up to the successful Conan the Barbarian was not quite what I thought it would be. Made in 1984 the story line revolves around another Conan adventure which the evil Queen Tamaris has sent him on to retrieve a sacred horn that will summon a god and in return the queen will resurrect Conans lost love who died in the Conan the Barbarian. Advantages: Excellent Storyline, Epic Graphics, Unique Characters and Much More..

...Until I was persuaded to play Age of Conan by my partner, I was not really into games, and certainly would not have considered myself to me a 'gamer'! Now, I find myself wishing away the day, waiting to get home to play Conan and chat to my on-line friends, now my Guild Members. It is very easy to find yourself completely lost within the game, and you find yourself really becoming your chosen character and it doesn't seem like a roleplaying game anymore, it actually feels real!
