Advantages: Lots of colours to coordinate with your car and good value
Disadvantages: Although easy to adjust, it took a couple of attempts to get the hang of it

Concorde2, there will be something for you...

Advantages: Great choice in music...
Disadvantages: ...a little bit out of the way...but it keeps away the p..s heads(another advantage)

If walking from the pier you need to walk dowm Madeira Drive past Jim Thompson's and Burgerking, with them on your left, and the sea to your right. Keep walking for 10/20 minutes, way past Volks, until you see the Concorde2 on the opposite side of the road. Wait until now to cross the road, as the path is better lit on the right. And it is a pleasant walk as it is along the edge of the beach. The front of the club has central double doors, with blacked out windows either side. I will not choose Concorde Lafayette anymore

Advantages: Excellent location

Instead we were been given business card and a promise that something will be done for us on our next visit. Less than a month later I had to return to Paris on another business trip, I contacted the hotel to find out that the business card, our previous booking and the incident were all forgotten. Of course I went for another hotel and had more peaceful nights. I need to say add that the hotel room at Concorde Lafayette costs 450 euro at that time but we only paid 180 euro as per a business agreement between my company and the hotel. From the office where I work, we could see it going up, and we could always set our watches by it at 10.50am. We all used to stop to see it go up, it was such a brilliant sight. No longer in the skies, but still high up in my estimation

Advantages: Interesting for all ages, indoors, accessible for all knowledge levels

...I visited this attraction for an arranged Birthday present on the 31st October, 6 years to the day this aircraft flew into Manchester for the final time to be housed here for good. I think that Concorde captures the imagination of most people as a majestic spectical and patriotic symbol. And if this isn't the case - this tour would probably change people's minds. The area has recently been upgraded to protect Concorde from the elements, which also enhances the visitor experience in a comfortable secure environment. ...I was lucky enough to be able to fly London to New York on BA's Concorde this month and as there is no specific category for Concorde I hope you don't mind me using this area to tell you about it. Concorde is the only supersonic passenger airliner - that is it's the only plane a non-military person can travel in that will go faster than 600 miles per hour (the speed of sound is 740 miles per hour I think). When in mid flight Concorde cruises at 1,350mph which is nearly 3 times as fast as an "ordinary" 747 cruising at 560mph. Thus you get to New York in 4 hours vs. approx 6 hours on a standard plane. Concorde is being retired by British Airways at the end of October 2003. I've always been interested in engineering and had always wanted to travel on Concorde.
