Creda T622CW Condenser Dryer.
Review of Creda T622CW Condenser Dryer by
markfarrow
Advantages: No hose to vent, warms up house!
Disadvantages: Noise, running cost.
...We were bought this tumble dryer as a moving in gift for our new house, finally having space to put a tumble dryer.
We went for the condenser type because there is no need for a vent to the out side, which up here in the north west of Scotland is the last thing you want during a winter gale, believe me!
OPERATION..
The controls for the dryer are easy to understand and operate, the timer is settable up to 120 mins and is clearly marked. The heat setting is a 'push in/out' type with two options, low or high. There is a light that comes on when you need to empty the water bottle, but more about that latter on. The instruction book is fairly good, but i didnt pay to much attention to it.
INSTALLATION..
The dryer is quite heavy and i would advise you to sweet talk who ever delivers it to your home into getting it as close...

FANCY A QUICK TUMBLE...
Review of Creda T632CW Condenser Tumble Dryer by
tange
Advantages: No need for a vent. Dries laundry well and has a sensor.
Disadvantages: Generates a lot of heat. Not the most compact model in the world.
...?
Alun looked on the Which web-site and then checked the internet for a suitable (and reasonably priced) dryer. We settled on a Creda T632CW Condenser Dryer, which we got from unbeatable.com. It cost us £214 plus £29.95 delivery ~ even though this was quite a lot for delivery it still worked out as a good deal because the dryer was considerably cheaper than elsewhere. We decided on a condenser dryer because we weren’t sure where we going to place it and our wall space for an external vent in the kitchen was limited.
~~How big is it?
It’s quite large (bigger than our washing machine) so bear this in mind when buying it ~ it’s not slimline by any stretch of the imagination! Its vital statistics are 850mm (H) x 595mm (W) x 600mm (D) and it holds 6kg (13lb) of washing in its drum. In real terms this means I can fit in either a whole...

Not My Laundry Fairy
Review of Creda T622CW Condenser Dryer by
jillmurphy
Advantages: Dries efficiently, dependable, good with delicates too.
Disadvantages: Hot, loud, pain to upkeep.
...Ok, I admit it. When talking laundry, my green credentials fall flat on their face. My intentions are good, but my results suck monkey rude things. It is true. I do not like laundry. I do not like sorting smelly socks, retrieving sticky sweets from pockets, or pens, or five-pound notes, or precious trading cards. I wash them all, to deleterious effect. I do not like pegging out washing. I do not like ironing. The whole laundry shebang is far too effortful for a lazy person like Murphy. Sod the energy consumption – I tumble dry far too much. This is why, when my old tumble dryer was deemed too geriatric to be moved from London to Devon, I bought a new one as soon as my little lazy feet hit Devon soil.
I bought a Creda T622 Condenser Dryer, and I was hoping that I would be able to rename it Murphy's Laundry Fairy. However, things did...

HOTPOINT 7KG CONDENSER TUMBLE DRYER
Review of Hotpoint CTD40 Graphite by
rktnv
Advantages: Large capacity, can be put anywhere, stylish design
Disadvantages: Can make the room warm
...My husband and I bought this condenser when we were moving into our new house - previously we had a tumble dryer with a hose but in our new house there was no actual space for the tumble dryer so we had to take a cupboard out for it and it wasn't very practical to have a hose running across the middle of the kitchen to the window!!
So we decided to get a condenser (my mum has one and highly recommended them), it basically takes away the need for a hose as the water goes into a container built in to the tumble dryer. This means you can put it anywhere in the house! It does still make the room quite warm but I just shut the kitchen door and it's not a problem.
This particular model looks really stylish in graphite (we actually went and bought all of our appliances in this colour because we liked it so much!). It also hold 7kg...

Zanussi Triumph Again
Review of Zanussi Condenser 7124w Dryer by
GavMan
Advantages: Drum capacity, programmes,
Disadvantages: It doesn't do the ironing
..., and I’ve been proved right.
However, this time, instead of taking a day off, like I did when I bought my washing machine, I went at night, as my local Curry’s is open until 8pm.
By fate, as I was looking at the selection of dryers they had on offer, the salesperson who approached me was the one who sold me my washing machine only a few weeks earlier. He laughed as I told him what had happened, but he said things like that happen very often in some cases.
So down to the nitty gritty. The selection of my dryer. After looking at the likes of White Knight, Creda and my old friend Hotpoint (White Knight and Creda are both manufactured by Hotpoint), I came upon Zanussi.
I was sold there and then. I decided on the TCE7124W Condenser Dryer. I was informed that this model was in the new XC6 range of washing machines...

Round round baby, you spin me round round.
Review of Creda T622CW Condenser Dryer by
wompie99
Advantages: Gets Clothes DRY
Disadvantages: Large
...Creda Simplicity Condenser dryer.
Creda T622CW - Simplicity Condenser Dryer retails at £186.99 which is the Online price including VAT but excluding Delivery charge. (www.Edirectory.co.uk)
I bought one of these over a year ago now and it is a godsend. Unfortunatly sunny days cannot be relied on and the damp smell of clothes drying inside isn't the best.
This machine is the answer to all your problems and features the following features:
-Condensing Dryer.
Basically this machine will dry your clothes without the need to have a vent to the outside world. No need for a large unsightly pipe that billows steam all around the garden or garage and makes your house look like a steam train!
-C Energy Rating.
Not the best energy rating available, but for the price, pretty good.
-6kg/13lb load.
Will take more clothes than you...

Zanussi Condenser Tumble Dryer TCE 7277W
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux TCE7227W by
findlesuk
Advantages: Low noise level, easy to empty water container, energy efficiency
Disadvantages: Makes my washing machine look ancient!
...My Hotpoint tumble dryer gave up the ghost after 3 years & was not economical to repair!!
Ciao gave me some ideas from reviews and I short listed several makes/models including a Zanussi - a make that I have never bought before as I was put off by the name (don't ask me why, the name never appealed!)
My sister who is EXTREMELY fussy about everything has always had Zanussi white goods & raves over them so this time I allowed myself to look at them & glad I did!
I saw the review for the Zanussi TCE7124W & decided that was the one for me, on average about £250.shame no one had it in stock!
Then I was told it had been replaced by the TCE7227W & at £299-00.………OK £50 above budget but I researched it anyway & everywhere I read about it it came up glowingly! So I opted for this Zanussi TCE7227W, a large 7kg Condenser dryer...

Time to Ditch Those Pegs
Review of Creda T622CW Condenser Dryer by
Potless
Advantages: Plenty of room for large loads, reverse action reduces ironing!
Disadvantages: Bottom plinth is easily kicked off
...going-over to dry them off.
--- Easy Cleaning ---
The fluff filter will need cleaning after each drying session. It is located behind the door, and is easily removed, allowing the "fuzzy felt" to be sucked away with a vacuum cleaner, or manually picked off and thrown into the bin (surely somebody can come up with a use for tumble dryer fluff? Perhaps you could stuff toys with it, or make fake beards and moustaches for the kids!).
The condenser (the ingenious little pull-out whatsit that allows drainpipe-free drying) is in the form of a cartridge, which is located near the bottom left corner of the machine. This should be run under a cold water tap every month, to rinse away fluff from the the plates inside.
A quick run over the vents with a vacuum cleaner is also recommended every six months, to keep the airways nice and clean...

Creda TCR14 Tumble Dryer Condenser
Review of Creda TCR14 by
DAZ3599
Advantages: Condenser , easy to clean and maintain. No vents required
Disadvantages: Water holder cover door can break easily,
...We purchased this tumble dryer about 2 years ago. It is used up to three times a day and has been a great tumble dryer. We do a lot of washing (4 kids) and wanted to use the dryer both over night and during the day. We didn't want to leave windows open for the vent, so we decided to purchase a more expensive condensing machine.
It runs for upto 120 mins, with a final 'cool tumble' for 10 mins. This seems to help with the ironing. There are two heat setting, high and low. We tend to leave ours on 'high' all the time. There is an anti tangle feature which seems to work quite well, except with quilt covers...
The filters are easily removed for cleaning. The water drum is located at the bottom behind a plastic removable cover. Our old washing machine was only a 1000 spin speed, so we had to empty the drum almost every tumble load. We...
