...Out of all of the Contaminated sampler CDs, Volume 5.0 is in my opinion the best, not only does this 2 CD album cover everything that Relapse Records has to offer, it has some of the classic songs on there. I shall give my brief opinion on all of the songs on each of the two discs and then give my final opinion. Disc: 1 1. Motor-Ready - Alabama Thunder Pussy Never really got into this band, but I would say this is one of my favourite tracks by them, the vocals are almost nu-metal which is a bit crap, but the music itself is very good, beefy metal. Overall an enjoyable song 2. March of the Fire Ants - Mastodon Ahh Mastodon, what a band, and this song gives the listener a fair view of thier work, good drum work, nice build up to the song and as per usual excellent lyrics, all and all an amazing song. 3. Contamination

Advantages: You'll believe z-grade Italian actors can explode!
Disadvantages: Could put you off coffee for life...

...Another winner from Anchor Bay.. This winner comes from 1980 when the canny Italians knew how to make a rip-off.. After the success of "Alien" z-grade horror/sci-fi knock-offs where coming screaming from Italy on almost a weekly (Well it seemed like that!) basis.. This choice entry comes from Luigi Cozzi, director of other classics as "Starcrash" (Which starred Caroline Munro and David Hasseloff and managed to rip-off both Barbarella AND Star Wars at the same time, no mean feat!), "Devouring Waves" (You know, the one about the shark/octopus thing that ripped off Jaws!) and a raft of daft Hercules movies starring Lou "Hulk" Ferrigno.. Land rover Discovery TD5

Advantages: 4 wheel drive with lowering prices
Disadvantages: A little soft on cornering

...If you have the money to spare and are looking for a car that has Looks - Style - Comfort - Reliability and a real name that's had a good following over the years, I would highly recommend the Land rover Discovery. The biggest asset at the moment is that the price throughout the range has been reduced dramatically due to the recent changes in importation and dealership, and if you shop around you really can pick up an excellent deal, Even Secondhand. With the TD5 ( Turbo Diesel ), you get real quality even with the earlier models. The only drawback with the earlier ones is that the ride tends to be a bit bumpy, but having said that the early models are more economical to run in general averaging 30 - 35 MPG. The more recent models ( I.E 1997 Onward ) usually run at around 25 - 30 MPG, But obviously they are much more luxurious...

A Land Rover with the manners of an executive car.

Advantages: Exceptional towing vehicle, comfortable & reliable
Disadvantages: Quite sluggish

...I have owned many large, spacious and comfortable vehicles; both 4x4s and cars (Mitsibishi Shoguns, Mercedes...). However, now on my second Discovery (a '52 Reg' TD5 GS) I can safely say that the Land Rover has blitzed the others. It offers a unique blend of ruggedness and comfort without sacrificing luxury. When I bought my first Discovery, again a TD5 back in 2000, friends of mine were sceptical of my choice of Diesel over the V8 petrol. However, when they experienced the smoothness and adequacy of the Turbocharged 5-cylinder unit they quickly congratulated me on my choice. Also in terms of MPG the TD5 offers around 25-30 compared to the horrific consumption of the V8. Indeed it is the coupling of the engine and drivetrain which ultimately makes the Disco TD5, the abundance of torque is after all fundamental to any 4x4 especially...

Land Rover Discovery 2.5 TD5 GS 5 seat

Advantages: Excellent traction, driving good, bullet-proof, good residual values
Disadvantages: Heavy in town, fuel consumption, minor niggles

...My Land Rover Discovery 2.5 TD5 GS is the 5-seat model, first registered in December 1999. It was bought in June 2000 for £20,000, having cost approximately £27,500 new. It had nearly 5000 miles on the clock. Bodywork was and is immaculate and the previous owner (a rural chemist) buys a new one quite frequently (every 6 months!). This car had also had lamp protectors and fog lamps fitted over the standard spec, with floor mats and mudflaps also fitted. The point at which bought it was just after the start of the drop in new and used prices and appeared to be priced to keep cash flow going as it has only depreciated by £2000 over 1 year. Land Rover TD4

Advantages: Powerful engine, it makes you feel safe
Disadvantages: sounds like a tractor

The ride I found to be a very smooth one, with only the odd bump disturbing the gentle ride. **Looks** The outside of the car I think looked great, with its big wheels and its high cab. The car has a rustic "get up and go" look but sum how it still has a sporty ness about it. The interior had a modern stylish look and feel to it. The colours that my grand parents decided to have (Cream with green) complemented the car and just set it apart from any other Land rover I have ever been in. I am disappointed to say however that this is all let down by the poor quality of materials used in the car. Who wouldn't you want a Land Rover Discovery?

Advantages: Good driving position, reliability, capacity
Disadvantages: MPG, rust, gearbox

...I recently bought a 1990 (G) 2.5TDI Land Rover Discovery and have been really impressed with the overall package so far. First of all the driving position is fantastic, you cannot get any better than being up high and being able to see everywhere, the 360 degree visiblity is also very good. The only part that is difficult is getting used to how they steer, the linkages are different to most cars so you can't make frequent, tiny adjustments or you can get a small wobble on. However drive one for an hour and you will master this. Don't go on a motorway straight away like me and then learn there! My Disco has done 140, 000 miles, the inside of the car isn't fantastic but it is still clean and once I'd polished it up it looks suprisingly good. The outside has minor marks such as paint bubbles on the rear arches but this is...

Land Rover Freelander TD4 Adventurer 5dr Stationwagon

...The Land Rover Freelander is one of Land Rovers most popular cars of the last few years, and its understandable for my experiences. It?s a 2005 ?55? plate facelifted Freelander. In black, which is without doubt one of the best colours- along with silver. My dad owned the TD4 Adventurer, but I drove it everywhere. It has a 1951CC Diesel Engine, which was virtually the same as you get in the 2.0D BMWs. Its an excellent engine, it pulls well upto 70mph and beyond where its safe to do so and has plenty of torque, it also makes a nice fruity sound and is without doubt (having test drove the other engines on offer) the best engine available for the freelander. So it was the beginning of April and some of you may recall an advertisement being on television for the land of leather a range of special deals for one day only. So as i was interested in buying a new suite i took a drive to my nearest land of leather to view the suites which where part of this special twelve hour spectacular. Land of the excess packaging

Advantages: It was the only sofa we all liked.

...There don't seem to be many good reviews about Land of leather floating around here, so to balance things out a tiny bit, here's my experience of buying my sofa. Just after Christmas we had already decided we were going to treat ourselves with a bit of money left over from our mortgage to buy a nice new suite for the lounge. As all the sales are happening we deliberately waited until after Christmas to do this. We automatically headed for the nearest DFS as they seem to be the ones that push and push their adverts through the media and always stick in my mind.
