cheap, plenty of them, work well

Box can become damaged if somewhere a bit steamy

...When I was growing up we had a traditional looking gas fire which was lit by a match as the ignition broke on it and despite my Dad being a gas engineer it never got fixed (and is still going now despite being at least 32 years old!) My parents always used Cooks matches to light the fire and there was pretty much always a box of them sitting on the mantle piece but my siblings and I knew not to...
