Coopers Sparkling Ale

...I first drank some Coopers Pale Ale which became a favourite of mine and decided to try other offerings from the Coopers brewery. Coopers Sparkling Ale is a lovely beer. I poured my first bottle into a glass to accompany my Vindaloo curry and it went very well with the spicyness of the food. There is actually a live yeast sediment in the bottom of the bottle which you can mix into the beer before pouring if you like. But that's personal taste. I personally do like to mix it in. This beer is bottle conditioned, meaning that the brewery add extra sugar and yeast at bottling to carbonate the beer. This makes the beer much nicer than if it were to be force carbonated as per most commercial breweries. You can actually use this yeast sediment to make homebrew beer with, as I do. ...My sister is obsessed with Alice Cooper and having spent so much time at my house over the last year she has roped me in too and I have to admit to thinking he is pretty amazing. I couldn't decide which of his albums to tell you about so I figured why not just review the man himself. A bit of background first. Alice was born Vincent Furnier in detroit in 1948. In the 60's he formed a band which was called "The earwigs". They changed their name to "The Spiders" and then "The Nazz". coopers campsite

Advantages: a place to feel safe

...Coopers campsite is situated in Edale and is the campsite which leads you directly onto the Pennine way. I first stayed on this site in 1985 when you were actually aloud to park your car at the side of your pitch and you were allowed to have a small, but controlled, open fire. It is in a great location, right behind the village shop and a few metres from the Nags head pub, so you can crawl back to your tent after a skin full of real ale. The site is a good size, comprising of three fields which are all used for camping, either tents or caravans. They supply a shower block and toilets, which ALL sites have to supply anyway. I always used a tent,(or bivi) and felt safe in the open fields. There is a cafe at the entrance of the site which serves a half decent breakfast and is open to non site users, (as cooking your own breakfast...

A Cooper Classic

Advantages: Great concept album, excellent musicianship and variety

...Welcome to My Nightmare was Alice Cooper's first solo album without the original members of the band. Released in 1975, it features Wagner on guitar whilst John Prakash and Tony Levin play bass on different tracks as do Pentti Glan and Johnny Badanjek on drums. Ezrin once again produces it and no doubt had quite a lot of influence. The album is a concept album which takes you through the nightmares of a man called Steven. The musical style is quite eclectic, with progressive rock, hard rock, gentle piano ballads and even a bit of jazz getting a look in. My personal favourites from the album are the title track, which I happen to find rather jolly "Welcome to My Nightmare", "Cold Ethyl" has a fun rock n roll quality to it, a great little solo near the end and is a perfect track to widen the story of "Refrigerator Heaven" from...

...I bought a 2003 Cooper S in gunmetal (grey) a couple of months ago and have so far been more than happy with my choice with no regrets. As a new buy you need to be prepared to spend a lot to get the extras you want and I should think the first owner of my car spent well over 18k for the car, so that's around 4-5k in extras. Mine has the panoramic sunroof, cruise control, digital climate, full leather, steering wheel controls, chili pack including xenon headlights - these are the sorts of things you would expect a fairly expensive small hot hatch to have so with this in mind, buying used is blatantly the way to go, particularly with the new car market as it is. ...What a great beer!!! I think I have good taste when it comes to beers and like to try a variety of different beers when I get the chance......hick.... This beer is not available everywhere. So far I have only been able to find it in Tesco's and Morrisons. The reason that I was looking for this beer in the first place is that I have made a number of the Coopers homebrew kits which have turned out great. So I wanted to try the real deal. This beer is bottle conditioned. Meaning that when they bottle the beer they add some extra sugar for the yeast to consume and this carbonates the beer. This improves the taste and mouthfeel of the beer rather than force carbonating it like most commercial beers. I actually use the live yeast sediment from the Coopers bottle for my homebrew. Inside there is no change atall apart from the fact that the speedo spins up a bit faster than usual. at around £22000 new the Mini cooper s with the john cooper works kit is quite a large price to pay for a mini. i got mine for £18000 1year old from a bmw dealer. The 200bhp that the engine cranks out certianly makes a difference from the normal mini's as 100mph comes around in 3rd gear. it sticks to the road like a dead animal and is great fun with the traction control off. The ride is a bit stiffer than normal and it seems to bottom out when going to quickly along bad roads. No matter what gear you are in it will pull all the way around the rev counter and a bit more.
