Coral Beach Hotel

...Cyprus is an island in the southern mediterean, just off the Egyptian coast, being divided into touristy Greek Cyprus and Turkish Cyprus (which is mostly a military base). I went to Cyprus on a cycling holiday and it was an absolute nightmare to get the bikes, we waited 45 minutes after everyone else had left the new (but very barren and not very comfortable) arrival lounge. The bikes eventually appeared to fell off the plane, as we found later in the holiday that they arrived with various damage. Larnaca is the location of the main airport in Cyprus, located close to the party town of Ayia Napa but 90 minute slow bus ride away from the Coral Beach Hotel and Resort, Paphos. The country appears to be very dusty, sparse in population except for the large hotel resorts and the ubiquitous half built villa's that seem to be found...

Ascos Coral Beach Hotel,Cyprus. One of the nicest hotels.

Advantages: Close to beach, peaceful , no children, close to bars
Disadvantages: Shingle beach by hotel.

...We stayed at the Ascos Coral beach Hotel ,Cyprus, in June 2009. The hotel, during the summer months is for adults only,which if your are on a relaxing holiday makes a big difference. Once you enter the hotel you can notice straight away that there are no children running around, its very peaceful. The hotel is around half an hour drive from the airport at Paphos. It is located on the coast and has a pathway down to a shingle beach which to be honest we did not use as it was a bit awkward to walk along. The shops, not many mind, and the bars are about a five minutes walk. If you want to go to the coral bay beach it would take you around 15 minutes to walk there at the most, and to drive there it would take around 1 minute. Ascos Coral Beach Hotel, Cyprus

Advantages: Great location, extensive amount of food and drink available
Disadvantages: Parts of hotel need updating

..., alcohol (local alcohol free only) and ice cream available all day. There are quizzes and pool activities during the day which are quite fun but the evening entertainment is pretty poor. Bingo every night with a jackpot of (drumroll) £10! Once a week the hotel has a casino night which is great, you can play roulette, blackjack, craps or poker. The hotel is in a great position just off the main strip of Coral Bay and about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. We would return to this hotel as we think it is good value for money and you get what you pay for....

...I don't know where to start with this hotel. I have stayed here on 2 seperate occassions and both times were just perfect. My most recent stay was in August 07, and this was the hotel I choose to have my wedding. The hotel staff were just brilliant throughout the whole stay. They looked after me and the 20 other guests invited. On arrival we were all offered a welcome drink and cold towels. When my partner and I checked we were told we had an upgrade to a suite. The room was amazing! It had a large living area and bedroom seperated by a large TV. The bathroom had a standalone bathtube and walk in shower. The room even had 2 toilets. Advantages: GREAT LOCATION, GREAT PRICE, REALLY NICE HOTEL

Balcony ~ nice size, with table and chairs and room to move. Bathroom ~ large size, has normal sink, normal toilet, nice big mirror, bath tub with a shower over it. Bedroom / living room ~ massive, had table and chairs, sofa bed, tele and a massive mirrored wardrobe. Kitchen ~ normal little kitchen with fridge freezer, lots of cupboards, cooker, plates, knifes and all the rest you would need to cook a meal. This apartment was a lot more than what we expected even had our own safe. If you are staying in a room only then this hotel would be fine for disabled people as there is a lift but all the other accommodation in this hotel is access from stairs unless you...

For those of you who do not know (where have you been?), TY Beanies are a collection of little teddies in all forms of animals and teddy bears. Once you start a collection they are quite addictive. You find you are always looking for new ones and cannot stop buying them - havoc for your wallet, heaven for your collection! One of the Beanies is a fish, who goes by the name of Coral. Its such a beautiful name - I was obsessed with sea coral as a child so this is a delightful treat for me. Coral is very attractive to look at too. ...We have just come back from staying for a week at the Coral Beach Hotel in Cyprus. The hotel is just outside the small resort of Coral Bay and is about 10 km from Paphos and about a thirty minute drive from Paphos Airport. We stayed in the hotel in mid February which is a time which has some things to recommend it but not others! We chose the hotel because it seemed to offer just that little bit more than other hotels in the area and in many ways it did although this was also reflected in the price! (We booked with Thomson and paid about £1600 for the package deal for me, my husband and our two small daughters When you first arrive at the hotel you can't help but notice the sheer size of it.. One of the main reasons for the return was the fact that we loved the apartments we had stayed in last year and the other main reason was for the wonderful Amadores Beach.
