...I don't know where to start with this hotel. I have stayed here on 2 seperate occassions and both times were just perfect. My most recent stay was in August 07, and this was the hotel I choose to have my wedding. The hotel staff were just brilliant throughout the whole stay. They looked after me and the 20 other guests invited. On arrival we were all offered a welcome drink and cold towels. When my partner and I checked we were told we had an upgrade to a suite. The room was amazing! It had a large living area and bedroom seperated by a large TV. The bathroom had a standalone bathtube and walk in shower. The room even had 2 toilets. Advantages: Super staff, great food, pools excellent, lots of little nice touches.

...Lovely hotel in wonderful Paphos. Staff cannot do enough for you - waiting staff in the bar are attentive, polite and friendly. Entertainment staff - evening shows a little poor but they try really hard to keep everyone happy and entertained with no pressure to join in. Nice touches such as fruit & wine in rooms on arrival, free mini bar with soft drinks replenished daily, beds turned down & chocolates or a flower on your pillow at night. Rooms: decor a little tired and in need of refurbishment but still in good order. Cleanliness is excellent throughout the buildings and in the grounds. Staff were always busy behind the scenes. SEA VIEW IS WORTH EVERY PENNY ! Food is very well cooked with plenty of choice. Weekly Gala Dinner by the pool is lovely (although food here a little cold) No problem finding sunbeds. ...Its funny, you wouldn't think that this hotel has this reputation- but it does. Out of all the hilton hotels in the world,Coral hilton @ Nuweiba is the one that has the most returns to! Its 1/2 way between Taba/Sharm on the Aqaba cost. Overlooking a private beach on the red sea. The hotel is 4* AI with recently refurbished rooms. With the Sinai mountains behind you, and looking at the mountains of Saudi across the red sea, its a wonderful & beautiful location to wake up in with wonderful sunrises & sunsets. The staff are all wonderful/friendly and work VERY HARD. The hotel is very clean and the food is excellent. You can actually eat from 6am till 10pm every day!! ...Last January I packed up and headed off to Santo Domingo, DR. My internet investigations had me expecting the worst but boy were we surprised. The airport, as predicted was a ZOO, no problem, was fairly organized. Bus trip to hotel was FAST, very different driving styles there. We stayed at the Coral HAmaca beach resort. BEAUTIFUL. It is a 5 star resort with GREAT food, entertainment, and drinks. The whole trip, ALL INCLUSIVE only cost $1300 CDN each (884 US) and was the time of our lives. I highly recommend this resort. Others on our flight back that stayed at other hotels didn't have the same enthusiasm, I guess 5 star is the way to go. Not a deluxe Ritz hotel, but for an island resort it is 100% of our expectations. Go there anytime you want to relax in the beautiful Caribean sun.... Read review

..., I've had better choices elsewhere. The facilities were excellent, there was a well-equipped and well-used gym, a full size snooker room, a squash court, table tennis, kids games room, a beauty parlor, and hairdresser, plus a little souvenir shop along from the lobby. Prices in the shops were expensive, and there was a small supermarket over the road which was cheaper. The place is huge. Our conference took place in an internal meeting room which easily held five hundred people, and the conference dinner was in a restaurant we hadn't discovered before, tucked away on a lower level of the hotel and separate from the three normal restaurants. Staff were excellent, all spoke good English and were very keen to help. The hotel itself was situated about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Coral Beach, in which there are numerous cafes... ...Coral reefs, spectacular fish and relatively warm water in winter make this a specialist scuba diving destination. Its frequent northwesterly wind also makes it a major resort for serious windsurfers. The myriad of other water sports activities available are really add-ons. No antiquities for the historically-minded and, for those seeking a Mediterranean-type holiday, little to do at night after your day of sun, sea and beach. Possibly a good relaxing second week for a 2-centre holiday after visiting Egypt's antiquities elsewhere. Accommodation: Nearly all hotels are on the beach, with the exception of a few cheap and cheerful 2-stars frequented by divers and windsurfers who want only a place to sleep with no frills. Most offer a range of water sports, but potential clients should ensure that any particular requirements are available... Read review

...expensive. Naama Bay Beach is well over a mile of rather coarse mid-brown desert sand. Virtually every inch is "private" and controlled by the hotels situated just across the pedestrian beach pathway. Some nonbeachfront hotels have their own sections, while others have sharing agreements with their more fortunate competitors. The beach at Sharm el Maya Bay is smaller and of finer sand. Here the bay is effectively a near-enclosed marina full of moored boats, so the water here is not so clean as elsewhere along the coast. Nightlife is mainly centred around the bars and discos at the hotels. There are plenty of restaurants of all nationalities including Chinese, Indian, Korean, Japanese, Italian, Egyptian & seafood. There is even a McDonald's at Naama Bay. Getting around is usually by taxis, which are cheap if you haggle the price hard... Read review

...are magnificent. You can see that alot of money was paid to build it. Attractions Most of the attractions are through organised tours. Some of them are: * Spice Tour - visiting the Spice Island to see nutmeg, cocoa, bananas & vanilla trees. * Kizimkazi Dolphin Excursion - to the south of Zanzibar island to see dolphins. * Prison Island - This was the most interesting tour that I found. This island was once a jail, so I expected it to be maybe a little run down but It wasn't. It's quite a charming little island, good for sun-bathing. Chumbe Island Coral Park is also a place to visit. The ocean is home to 370 species of fish and about 200 species of coral. And the views are breathtaking. ..., the isolation was a little overwhelming and I wished that we had booked somewhere within a typical resort centre. However, after the initial surprise of this, we soon began to appreciate the tranquility of the surrounds. We had visited in high season. Whereas most resorts would be packed with tourists, Skala Rachoni maintained much of its traditional Greek charm and there were only a smattering of tourists. The pool area at the hotel was never busy, and the beach was never crowded. The Tavernas were quiet although had enough people eating there to ensure a good atmosphere. The resort was a good mix of German tourists, British tourists and Greek locals. LOCAL TAVERNAS We counted 9 tavernas within walking distance of the Hotel Coral. ...We visited the Ascos Coral Beach Hotel last August and I'm afraid I really don't have many good things to say about it! >>>>Overview<<<< This is a 4 star hotel located in Coral Bay 11km Paphos. It is an adult only hotel and does not take bookings for anyone under the age of 16. It has 2 swimming pools one indoor and one outdoor, a gym, a Jacuzzi and a souvenir shop. The hotel offer a half board option or an all inclusive option. We booked last minute on an all inclusive basis, this cost us just under £1000 which we thought was really good value. >>>> LOCATION <<<< The hotel is situated in Coral Bay which is about a 10 min drive from Paphos. The hotel is quite a bit out of the way so to get around it is better to hire a car. It's a very quiet town containing only a few hotels, villas, a crazy golf course and one street of shops...
